Wonder if Adam and Cindi Lauper met when she sang with Allison on the AI season 8 finale.(best finale ever!) Their duet was the second best performance that night, after Adam’s. Cindi was so generous with Allison, letting her shine. Hm, where have I heard that before?

I am dying to see a photo of Adam with Cher.
Have to agree with mils about the Glamberts attacking critics who aren’t “sufficiently” respectful to Adam. The earofnewt guy is a bit of a jerk – there are all sorts of ways to say that Freddie rules – but I’ve seen some pretty ridiculous examples of indignation in the last few days. One of the nicer critics from Calgary or Edmonton was castigated by a Glambert who seemed to think it unconscionable that he didn’t know about Adam’s pre-Idol career; particularly his musical stint on a cruise ship.
Seeing negativity from either fan groups takes some of the pleasure out of what have been some splendid reviews.
BTW, eyeofnewt had received no comments on his article when I looked.
Hope it stays that way.
ETA: Lots of comments. I must have clicked on the wrong link yesterday. Not a single one says Adam is better than Freddie, though. The main objection is to his view that Adam’s voice is bland.

When I read the comments on that article as of yesterday, most seemed fairly well written, especially a few from Queen fans that were at the show, saying he was wrong.
But there are 1 or 2 glambert names that you see again and again on these articles that do go too far.

mils I was able to watch Master Chef on my little 4 inch HD tv that I bought 4 years ago. Kradamour bought one and I thought it was so cute. Comes in handy sometimes.
