Adamland and eywflyer may be familiar usernames to you from the Glam Nation Tour concert threads that appeared regularly on mjsbigblog last year, and we decided to create a site dedicated to Adam Lambert concert info. This site will provide information on Adam’s upcoming tour, ticket sales, and when the time comes, concert threads for each tour date. We are looking forward to lots of fun during Adam’s second tour!

We are now less than 12 hours away from Adam’s first concert in over 5 months! Watch for the live concert thread late tonight/very early Saturday morning, depending on your time zone.

Schedule for the Maxidrom 2011 event in Moscow on Saturday (translated link):
Adam is slated to perform between 130 PM and 300 PM Saturday afternoon Moscow time. This translates to the following times in the U.S., very early on Saturday morning:
530-700 AM EDT
430-600 AM CDT
330-500 AM MDT
230-400 AM PDT
We will have a live thread available for that concert, starting an hour or two before Adam goes on stage and continuing through Saturday.

WOW! I’ve now replayed “Il Volo’s” performance from tonight’s Idol show 6 times! I’ve never heard of them and they’re fantastic!
Haley looked very surprised that she was the one eliminated.

Hi. I’ve been away in real life. Started a new job of sorts and my swiss cheese of a brain has been so exhausted I haven’t even read MJ/ 24/7 or anything. I have some major catching up to do.
However. NEW TATTOO??????
Okay. So, here’s what you all want to know. In Hawaii, at my Meet and Greet I said hello, extended my hand for a handshake and asked if we could talk about the tats. He held out his arm and said sure. I asked if he would let me touch his arm, he said, “sure”. I swear, my heart skipped several beats.I had Adam’s forearm on the table in front of me, tat side up. I had an idea for a tat that he liked. I’m still not divulging my idea, who knows, maybe he’ll actually do it someday, or maybe I’m totally delusional, in all reality, he probably doesn’t remember my idea. Whatever, I was touching the tats and discussing the meaning of each one with him. And, how my idea would be like a trilogy of meaning and unite them all. He really liked my concept. We had eye contact. I was touching the tats, and therefore having a tactile Adam Lambert experience.
Then, he told me what he wanted to do next. He said he liked the death faces from Dia de los Muertos. He had several of them as backdrops in the show. I said something like, “oh, but that’s death!” and he said, “yeah, but they’re cool.” So I said, “yeah, they are cool, but I like mine better!” So, he smiled and laughed, then I asked for my hug, he signed my stuff. It wasn’t until later that I realized he had signed about 6 or 7 things for me.
So, anyway, the new tat does have the death/skull in it. And, if he did buy the art posted above, it actually has a component of the image I suggested. Interesting.
Also, I had a loooong meet and greet. Many people who I talked to later were behind me in line and said so. I’m not sure how it happened, I was first in line, maybe because I was first we just spent a good amount of time together. I often think back to it, and I just grin ear to ear. I wasn’t trying to do it, it just happened that way. I honestly wish everyone could get as long with him as I did. It was heaven. He is so incredibly sweet.
And, I do like the new tat. The key looks like razors. It reminds me of that razor necklace he got in Australia that he liked so much. And, the “death” face isn’t as harsh as a Dia de los Muertos mask. IMHO.

Hi, mils! thanks for your reply – long post is excellent! – y’know, when we had our very rushed 30 second meet and greet in Paris, I really had a strong sense that he wanted it to be longer. I think the “drive by” M&Gs must be very frustrating for him – Adam obviously treasures interaction with his fans – hence the twitter parties when he wants to share. He was trying to spend more time with peeps and Lane and Neil were constantly telling him to hurry, it was like static. Such a strange venue and circumstances…and then of course the photos were deleted. Ah, Paris! lol
BTW. Those “new” Paris pics are to die for. Holy Crap. He said that his time in Paris was very sexy. No Lie. It shows on his face in these pics.

Thanks, gbg. I really do wish that Adam could meet all of his fans the same way. Especially us “super fans.” I so appreciate the time I had with him. Of course, it wasn’t free!! So, that being said, I hope he doesn’t charge more for his next M&G’s, so people can actually meet him. But, I have a feeling, he’ll do less of them and charge more.
eywflyer, I know I’m a bit late responding to an earlier post regarding James and Adam, but I’ve had a ridiculous day! So I hope you will indulge me in a very well-intentioned comment.
I and my family are no strangers to children with special needs. My younger sister has three sons. Son #1 is “typical”. Son #2 was born with the following: Behavioral Defiance Disorder, ADHD and is Bi-Polar. Son #3 was born with the following: Cranial Synostosis, mental retardation AND is homosexual. She is now a single mom, dealing with these challenges pretty much alone. She is the most inspiring person I’ve ever known. Her goal in life is to prepare her children to the best of her abilities and theirs for “life”. She understands that making excuses for their behavior does them no good – sometimes it’s an uphill battle, but she works tirelessly to teach them how to co-exist socially.
Regarding James and Adam, I hope that James soon learns how to walk away from these types of “teasers” – Jim C. is really the one to blame in this particular situation. I believe it is within James’ control to do so, but he’s still pretty green in the P.R. department. But I truly wish him success – it’s just as much his right to get out there and give it his best shot as anyone else’s.
Hope this comment is received in the positive way it’s intended.
And for the record, our family treasures our special needs angels – they’ve taught us some invaluable lessons about appreciating the little things in life.
ETA: Some of you may remember a photo TexasSunshine tweeted of me and one of my nephews at the GNT show at Winstar – he’s absolutely Adam’s biggest fan!
If you haven’t heard Neil is coming home and going to Russia with Adam. I think that’s a good thing.

Mils both Neil and his Dad have tweeted about it. Dadbert felt neglected that he wasn’t asked to go instead of Neil. Dadbert also tweeted that he was the last to know that Neil was coming home. Those two always have interesting tweets.
I’m looking forward to showing nkd my tattoo because it’s somewhere that’s definitley not noticable and where most people aren’t allowed to see.
P.S. – I don’t have a tattoo nor would I consider ever getting one.
nkd the date on the photo of David I’s tattoo says 11/06/10. So it’s fairly new. I like Adam’s key better but both seem to be large tattoos. I think there is no coincidence just both liked the idea.

Went back and checked some of Adam’s Dad’s tweets and was surprised to learn that he’s a Lauren supporter. He gave Haley some of the same critiques that Randy did. Father and son don’t always seem to agree on music.

I so agree, I was a Scotty supporter at the beginning but he really began to bore me, he has NO range, NO power and has never taken a chance, not once. Lauren is just so young emotionally that I don’t think she will survive this business, and really nothing special about her voice, just “a’ight”. Will be the most boring finale ever, At least last year there was Crystal’ beautiful, powerful voice.
Yes, this season started with so much promise and diversity, but my faves are gone and Scotty and Lauren don’t impress me much.
. I really enjoyed Naima, Paul and Casey – may try to see them this summer when the tour passes through.

And wow, Adam is performing in Russia in about another week? I read they might have attended the Final if Haley made it thru, how could that be possible with Moscow so close?

Miss Chaos, my oldest son got a tattoo last summer – the initial of his “then” girlfriend proudly displayed on his wrist. As luck would have it, the relationship didn’t last. Now we’re going about the process of having the tattoo removed! My son says the removal process is much more painful (and expensive) than the inking process is. I’m happy that Adam seems to choose his tattoos very carefully.

I never had the courage to get a tattoo, but latley (now that I am 50) I am thinking may be the names of my kids would be cool.

Hi greenhippo…how about an eye of Horus or the infinity symbol or a key! Bet no one’s thought of those before.
GreenHippo…my suggestion is to step away from the tattoo parlor. Older skin does not tattoo well, generally.
And (this is only a personal opinion, no intention to offend!) the names of one’s children…I’d wear a necklace with charms. An older woman with a new tattoo of her children’s names has a tacky factor for me. But that’s just me.
If you are serious, though, why not get it inked with a fine point sharpie and wear it for a while and see what you think? A tattoo parlor here will do that for peeps who want to try something out.

mils, thanks for sharing your M&G story about the tats. That was a fun interesting read– I had been curious about what Adam told you he was thinking about.
I hope that he tells us at some point what the key means to him, because I’m sure that it goes beyond just “it looks cool.” I’m sure that it has some kind of deeper symbolism for him.
