Adamland and eywflyer may be familiar usernames to you from the Glam Nation Tour concert threads that appeared regularly on mjsbigblog last year, and we decided to create a site dedicated to Adam Lambert concert info. This site will provide information on Adam’s upcoming tour, ticket sales, and when the time comes, concert threads for each tour date. We are looking forward to lots of fun during Adam’s second tour!

We are now less than 12 hours away from Adam’s first concert in over 5 months! Watch for the live concert thread late tonight/very early Saturday morning, depending on your time zone.

Schedule for the Maxidrom 2011 event in Moscow on Saturday (translated link):
Adam is slated to perform between 130 PM and 300 PM Saturday afternoon Moscow time. This translates to the following times in the U.S., very early on Saturday morning:
530-700 AM EDT
430-600 AM CDT
330-500 AM MDT
230-400 AM PDT
We will have a live thread available for that concert, starting an hour or two before Adam goes on stage and continuing through Saturday.

So, I have a confession to make. I am unfaithful. I have a new love. Her name is Adele. I have listened to her CD about 500 times this week. I am blown away by her. Absolutely blown away.
I even put on my eyeliner a touch bolder like hers when I went out for dinner tonight at the Cheesecake Factory. I considered the GlamBurger ( and was reminded of the funny talk on tour about it ) but went with a salad instead. And a white sangria. Wow. Delicious!
If Adam collabo’d with Adele that would be just heaven!
mils, my mind has been running wild with so many thoughts about collaborations… Could it be Katy Perry? Or maybe Kesha… How about Pink or Adele or Fergie??? I think Adam’s laid the groundwork for all sorts of options!

Yup, Texas, I think he’s got all of us thinking collabo’s. Katy and Ke$ha seem most likely to me. I wouldn’t be surprised if he sang and not just wrote with Sia. And, Goldfrappe wouldn’t surprise me either. Or, Jessie J.
I even imagine him in the next Gaga/Beyonce video. Can you even visualize THAT? Can you say sizzzle and melt your TV?
Speaking of Goldfrapp, I have a trivia question for you guys. I have it somewhere in my notes, but need to know now: What Goldfrapp song did Adam say was his favorite makeout song (some months ago). I remember it was heavenly or (some)otherworldly. Anyone remember?
mils, I have visualized ALL of that, haha. But I especially can visualize Adam and Ke$ha – I actually really enjoy Ke$ha’s music and I think they would make a fun, entertaining and visually beautiful team!

mils, thank you for that chunkey link (and WOOT for your very own link, cherie!) – my husband actually came in and told me to stop laughing so hard, it was making it hard for him to work…then I tried not to laugh and he came back and told me the laughing was better than the choking, so whatever. (He hates chunkey. Clearly I am married to the wrong man.) This has been a horrible, horrible day (and I remembered in the midst of it that it is Friday the 13th, of course it is, FML) and chunkey was exactly what I needed. Gonna go read it again…

We are going to use the idea from glambotgram and kradamour of changing to a new chat thread at the beginning of each month, and naming that thread for the month. We’ll stay in this welcome thread for the rest of May, then move to a “June 2011 Open Chat” thread on June 1. (with a concert thread thrown in May 28!)
We will always keep the current chat thread at the top of the front page on the site, except for concert days when the concert thread will be shown at the top.

Maybe I need to invest in Adele as I’ve been rotating Adam and Crystal and something new would be good and if Mils likes it, it must be good. In Idol news Santa Cruz petitioned to have a homecoming for James and won. It won’t be telecast however. This worked as he’s close enough to LA to meet his media commitments. I’m sure there will be lots of videos however. I like James music and spirit. He’s not perfect but very few are, maybe one is (or really close). I think that’s the reason we are here. Have you heard of anyone going to Russia, I’m sure there must be some fans going as they have shown up at his other European shows.
Hi Jo! Hey, just because I like it, doesn’t mean much! But, the CD is #1 , and has been for several weeks now. You could check out a few songs on You Tube. Adam has tweeted about Someone Like You. That is one powerful sad song. Suz, It’s nice to hear we have the same taste.
So, for Mother’s Day my kids bought me music. My son walked home from College ( it’s local peeps, but way across town and a six-seven mile walk ) and surprised me. The boys went and bought me Adele, the new Stevie Nicks, and the new Paul Simon. It made me cry. Not because of the CD’s per se. But because they made the effort to give me what I like. I know most of you have sweet stories too. Don’t let me hog the thread here!!
So anyway, I’m stuck on Adele. I’ll try to get to Stevie Nicks next. The only one they missed was the new Fleet Foxes. Gotta go get that one myself. I do have some birthday money to burn….
Jo, I have a feeling a few of the most Seriously Professional Glamberts will show up in Russia. Whatever. I have come to terms with them. If they have the money and the time, c’est la vie! Life is short, I believe we should live our lives in full, celebrate, dance laugh eat and have fun!!! And, if that means traveling, seeing our boy, whatever. It doesn’t hurt anybody. So who really cares in the big scheme of things?
One more, then this post-ho needs some beauty sleep. ( Hah). Thanks to eywflyer, Adamland and Suz for setting this up, asking for our advice and listening to it. You are all so wonderful. I like the new rules.

eywflyer or anyone…I’m certainly not complaining, but why the change in the ?logo? from the little leaf to the new symbol on the blog. I really can’t tell what the new symbol is. I liked the leaf a whole lot. But then, I’m a tree-hugger.
Ceddies are you talking about the symbol at the very bottom center of the page? I’m still seeing the little leaf (well, I guess it’s actually a branch with five leaves on it). Are you seeing something different there?
Now that I’m looking at the bottom of the page, I thought it would be nice to have our bright blue color theme down there too
Kradam, I’m sorry you had such a bad day, but, I’m glad to have given you a good laugh. Honestly, that site is just such a laugh riot. It’s naughty enough to be just naughty enough, and so spot-on with pop culture.
Don’t worry, my hubby not only wouldn’t get 99% of the references, he wouldn’t find it funny if he did!

eywflyer, I had not gone to the bottom of the page. I do love the blue, and I see the leaf. Thanks. But, I was really referring to the symbol up under the taskbars, when the site is open, it says Welcome to Adam Lambert Live. It looks like an blue “h” superimposed over a grey “m”. Was just trying to figure out exactly what it is.
Ceddies, not sure, the only symbol I see up top is the “feeds” icon in the upper right corner. What browser are you using?
The only other thing up there I can think of is the post navigation bar, below the menu bar and above the title text. It’s blank right now because we have only one post, but it will populate with links when we have more posts.
eyw, it’s there where we can “X” out of the window to close this window. It’s also just to the left of the “http://www.” etc on the address line where it currently shows comment-page-12#comment etc. I’m using Firefox.
Not a big thing, just wondering what it is.

Again late to the party. Trying to finish a number of quilts before I head back to visit my Mom.
Adele is amazing. She is the type of singer I’m so drawn to. Just like Adam. The voice is what hooks me and keeps me coming back. Of course with Adam we get much more. I too have had to burn copies of her album. I’ve played it in the house and in both cars. mils I’ll have to check out the Nicks album. She too has a voice I love.
And speaking of voices – check out this link. I got my start in music as a member of a 90 voice choir. Our director’s family fled Vienna when he was a small boy during WW2. They crossed the Alps just like the Von Trapp family. Because of his background we never did a show tune. We did music like this “choir”.

Ceddies and glambotgram, it turns out that the little icon you were seeing is a standard part of Firefox, indicating that this site doesn’t use a secured connection. To have a secured connection requires extra setup/cost and is typically only used by e-commerce sites, banks, etc (MJs doesn’t use a secured connection either).
I was able to customize the icon you will see. On MJs there is a little purple “MJ” in that position, on this site there is now a blue “ALL”
Looks like folks using IE will see the blue ALL too.
Incoming txt msg – Adam just tweeted. Thought we might be starting a late night Adam twitter rant, but he’s just giving a shoutout to @OhFerras who performed at the Hotel Cafe tonight.
Got some work done on the drop-down menu up top, the concert stats from the Glam Nation Tour spreadsheet in Google docs are now converted to webpages here. I know they are squashed looking horizontally right now, but I’ll have to upgrade our WordPress theme to the pro version to make the spreadsheet data fill the entire width of the screen.
The monthly GNT show menus will eventually (we hope!) contain links to a recap for every show of the tour, with venue/attendance info, links to videos and the MJs chat thread, possibly a repost of the concert poster from the MJs thread for that night (if we can get permission to use those images again) and whatever other tidbits we can find.
The “Non-Tour Gigs” menu will soon become a drop-down as well, containing links to recaps for one-time/non-tour performances such as Wango Tango, Fantasy Springs, River Rock, Moscow, Quebec etc. We are hoping to start off later this weekend with a recap of Adam’s performance at Wango Tango 2010, including some fabulous HD videos courtesy of our site editor Suz526!

ewyflyer, I use firefox too and where there was a little leaf on the tab, now there is a hm in blue. I liked the leaf. Each tab has a little symbol: gmail is their envelope, the fansite is a star, twitter is the little bird, the quebec festival site is a little firework burst, etc.
Add my kudos to the fabulous way the site is shaping up! and thanks to everyone who is spreading the word and bringing us together here!

Oooooh! I love Adam’s hair! Love the light color, short sides and brown eyebrows. Less makeup too. How does this man come up with so many looks? He either has the best imagination or wonderful stylists, or both. And, Did anybody see how cute Allison Iraheta was looking in those pics on Mj’s? Short dark hair and black nail polish. Hmmm. Wonder who inspired her look?
Oh. And more recycling for our boy. That’s his fab leather jacket he wore on tour for several meet and greets. I think in Australia. I remember the back had lots of details and textures.

MILs, It seems like your always doing something fun. The most excitement I’ve had is I ate twice at Panera Bread yesterday. Don’t have a Cheesecake Factory within 100 miles and few ethnic restaurants. I was hoping Rock of Ages would come close to me but no luck. The Idol Tour isn’t coming close either. The last time it stopped in Iowa was season 6 which was my absolute least favorite season. I’ll stop whining now as I really like my life here would just like a few more interesting venues.Being an Adam fan has livened up my life this last year. But I want more of the same this next year.
