Adamland and eywflyer may be familiar usernames to you from the Glam Nation Tour concert threads that appeared regularly on mjsbigblog last year, and we decided to create a site dedicated to Adam Lambert concert info. This site will provide information on Adam’s upcoming tour, ticket sales, and when the time comes, concert threads for each tour date. We are looking forward to lots of fun during Adam’s second tour!

We are now less than 12 hours away from Adam’s first concert in over 5 months! Watch for the live concert thread late tonight/very early Saturday morning, depending on your time zone.

Schedule for the Maxidrom 2011 event in Moscow on Saturday (translated link):
Adam is slated to perform between 130 PM and 300 PM Saturday afternoon Moscow time. This translates to the following times in the U.S., very early on Saturday morning:
530-700 AM EDT
430-600 AM CDT
330-500 AM MDT
230-400 AM PDT
We will have a live thread available for that concert, starting an hour or two before Adam goes on stage and continuing through Saturday.

It was so cruel that the 2 judges J and R kept on piling on Haley. Kudo for Lauren to stand up for Haley.
Too bad I can’t vote.

James will do well to be the runner up.
I’ll buy Haley’s music no matter what. I like James but I’ll watch his type of music from youtube.

Odd. Adam is only identified on the program page as “A 2009 American Idol Participant”. No mention of the fact that he was the runner-up. Nothing about GlamNation tour. asif, I totally agree with you about Haley vs. the judges last night. I don’t want to blame Steven, because he was supportive, but the other two? That kind of biased critique is really killing the show for me. They raved and talked about how James had really “set the bar”, when I actually thought he was off pitch-wise. I thought Haley gave a very passionate and moving performance – and yes, she sang the ending much like MJ did. I listen to this song on MJ’s Greatest Hits CD and it’s one of my favorites. Oh well. Of the three, she’s the only one I would pay money to listen to, downloaded music or live. The judges on DWTS and The Voice are so much more interesting and relevant than on Idol. I really hope Haley doesn’t go home tonight. Sadz.
Good Morning all – I just checked dialidol and they have Scotty & Lauren as safe with James close behind. Then there’s a gap for Haley. They have been wrong before and they don’t consider online votes. I’m hoping they are wrong. I agree with Adam. The only music I bought on itunes was hers.
I think they have no idea! I just hope they are ready!

Thank you to whomever started this site. It’s good to see so many familiar names. Glad to be a part of Adam’s vast kingdom of fans.
I may not have any followers on twitters for as much as I love Adam I thinks he’s playing games with Idol or else had too much wine last night. He’s got a right to an opinion but some of his OTT fans are like sheep. My problem is that they seem to blame the other contestants. I actually told him he needs to shut STF up.He’ll never read my tweet but it made me feel better. I follow other Idols and have never hear any of them endorse a contestant like this. I now hope Haley goes tonight as it might end some of the drama. Too much negativity out there right now for this Grandma.
Jojosie, I was surprised (not in a good way) by Adam’s tweets and their extent. I am happy for him to endorse an idol, but I think it crossed a line to talk about the others. JMO, of course.
I think Adam’s reaction is like a lot of others. Haley is being treated very unfairly by the judges, to say that James set the bar last night was ridiculous and Randy saying James, Lauren and Scotty tied and Haley didn’t measure up was beyond cruel especially since it wasn’t true. They have it in for her and are pimping an off key pitchy, unoriginal singer, for whatever reason. It probably made him as mad as it made me, and he vented. I don’t think he was out of line.
I’ve gotta agree with you glambotgram- Adam’s not a judge, mentor,or producer of Idol- he was on the show 2 years ago and now is just a viewer like any one of us and entitled to post his opinions like any other viewer.
What I do think is out of line are the judges telling a specific contestant on-air that they are doing all they can to get that contestant to the finale, it’s all about getting you to that last moment when you’re standing there with your arms up under the confetti…..’
For me ( for you) that comment by JLo to Lauren just reeked of blatant manipulation – and made it pretty obvious that their agenda is to crown Lauren as the winner and they will do anything in their power to make that happen.
And just as an aside- for some strange reason those stairs that were oh so exciting in season 8 have lost their sparkle and are just another set of steps in season 10!
I’m sorry but Adam isn’t just a regular viewer, he’s a celebrity with over 1,000,000 followers. He also knows how to use social networking. So I really thinks he’s gone too far. I still love him, but a little peeved.I hope he stops or Haley leaves. I hate to see the sympathy vote pick the winner. I never got involved with the Monte’s wife and her tweets thing as I felt it was a lot of fret over something that would soon pass and it did. Maybe Twitter is the Devil.

I’m glad Adam is supporting Haley. She sure isn’t getting any love from the judges or TPTB on Idol. I think Adam is right – the others are totally predictable, by and large. I do think he’s entitled to tweet what he wants; it’s up those who read the tweets to decide if he’s being unreasonable.
I’ll throw in my 2 cents. Adam has 1,000,000 + followers. Doesn’t mean a thing even if every single one of them votes for Haley or anyone else for that matter. The people I badgered to follow Adam on twitter to up his followers could care less about who Adam sort of endorses. Including me! And by the way…I think he’s correct, but I’m not going to vote for Haley or anyone else. They’ll all be fine!
I voted for Haley last night not because of Adam but because she has really been winning me over the last couple of weeks. This is the first time I have voted this season. I was all about Scotty at the beginning of the season but I didn’t vote until last night.
ETA Adam isn’t the only former idol chiming in.

Yes, Adam may have gone a bit overboard with his Hayley tweets. However, I know how passionate Adam is about all things music. We also know that Adam isn’t shy about sharing his true feelings — one of his many virtues that I adore about him. He has definitely succeeded in bringing more attention her way. I’m hoping she doesn’t get the boot tonight, but if she does I am not worried about her. I feel that all of the remaining four will get signed and do well, regardless of how they place.
If you love Adam – vote for him. He’s behind!

We’re hoping to have the first of our past concert recaps with HD video links ready sometime this weekend!
Still trying to decide the best way to handle comments once we have multiple posts. We don’t want people to be confused as to where the active chat is, and it was easy before on MJs since there was only the one old post (feathers most recently) that we were all using. Here is our thinking at this point:
– Keep the active chat in a particular open chat thread until some pre-determined date (1st of each month, every other Friday, or something else), then move to another open chat thread. A note would be posted in the old thread directing people to the new thread, and the old thread would be closed to additional comments.
– Concert threads (first one on May 28!) would of course allow comments, but the general chat thread would remain open too.
– Other non chat thread and non-concert posts (such as old concert recaps, ticket news) would remain closed to comments, in order to keep the active chat unified in a single thread. Having fewer open posts also makes it easier for us to keep an eye on the comments.
How does that sound to you guys?

Oksana, page numbers are back now, they got accidentally wiped out last night due to an “upgrade” and I didn’t notice.
We’ll definitely come up with some way of determining when to move to a new comment thread that is easy to remember.
eywflyer, your plan sounds like a good one. I especially like the idea of closing the misc chat thread when opening the new one, that will minimize confusion.
Also like the idea of closing old concert recaps to comments. Old is Old, and that will keep us on the current thread.

eywflyer all sounds good to me. Very well thought out. I vote for a new chat thread at the beginning of each month. Easy to remember and not so long that the thread gets too long. Like the idea that old threads will be closed to comments and a link posted to tell peeps where to go from there. you could even name chat threads May 2011, June 2011…That would also help us go back and find something if we were looking for something specific that had been posted before.

eywflyer: very good plans. If I understand you right, there will always be only one active chat thread, but older concert threads will stay active even if a newer one was already started. That way if a concert video of a past concert pops up, it can still be posted on the pertaining concert thread. (Of course I would never find it unless someone gives a link in the current chat thread.)
In general, I think the less active threads, the better.
Eywflyer and I speak almost daily concerning the site and how it should be tweaked. We want to make it very easy for everyone to chat and we both thought that minimizing the amounts of open threads is easier for all concerned. I’m happy the consensus so far falls along the same thoughts.
Okay, today I had a weird Adam moment.
Some of you have listened to my regular whining about never having heard Adam on local radio. It was ridiculous – the first time I heard him here was about a week or so ago. (rolls eyes) Since then, I think I have heard him twice on the radio.
Tonight I was in a thrift store (one of my favorite places!) and there was a pair of zebra pants. Not sparkly, but otherwise they could have been “the” zebra pants. Truly. And when a young woman picked them up to examine, at that very moment Adam came on the radio. It all made me very happy.
And BTW happy Friday the 13th to all!
