August saw Adam globetrotting to Australia, New Zealand, US, Germany, Poland, and England promoting The Original High. But the travel doesn’t stop there as he heads to South America for the first time. Queen + Adam reunite to play a series of dates there including Rock in Rio which Queen inaugurated some 30 years ago.

    Very nice 2-part Skype interview with Spike Edly (Queen’s keyboardist) including lovely comments about Adam in both parts. Questions are written in Spanish but the answers are what is important.

    Today in 1946 Freddie Mercury was born.

    For me this is a very special day, celebrating the Birthday of a muscial genie, a charismatic, full of life but still shy and private person who changed the music world for years and even though he isnt around anymore his legend still lives on through his music.

    It warms my heart seeing all over the world fans paying tribute to this man.

    And I thank Adam every day for giving Freddies music his voice, his energy and his love. Adam – like Freddie – is such a beautiful person and I am so grateful that I found my way to him through my love for Freddie.

    Post ho out after this. Just try to visualise, cause I think Adam could pull off ANY of these outfits with more spectacular results! So there I said it! http://logo.to/1QeBC6s (And, Freddie was great, but Adam is an amazing showman/artist/singer and not inferior – he has the solo career Fred didn’t have, has filled thousands of seats for hundreds of shows on his own name around the world and has hits of his own. And is a seasoned festival performer with festivals all over the U.S., as well as Canada, Japan – the same Supersonic he did with Queen, Singapore, a rock festival in Moscow and didn’t learn how from Live Aid ffs. (Tired of comparisons…….) Rant over for now Grin .

    I introduced Q+AL, Queen, and Adam to hubbie’s friends. They are big sports fans and they were surprised that those stadium rock songs that they were familiar with … WWRY and WATC, others … AOBTD, CLTCL were Queen’s. Laugh

    Now they love Queen’s songs that I downloaded for them and will go to Q+AL concert with me. They politely said that Adam was very talented.
    I gave them TOH CD .. (the clean one.) Grin

    These friends are the same age as Queen members so it’s the matter of taste. … heh! Heh

    To tie with Adam … These two gems will make you feel good. I’m on the down sides little bit these past few months.

    Happy belated birthday Freddie Mercury… You were such a showman… your 2 dimensional movements on video screens during the closing of the Olympics in 2012 in London just showed your charisma and could command a whole stadium of people… and don’t talk about Live Aid 1995.

    I totally missed that year Olympics because it was the very busy time that summer that my hubbie and I retired and moved back to the States.
