August saw Adam globetrotting to Australia, New Zealand, US, Germany, Poland, and England promoting The Original High. But the travel doesn’t stop there as he heads to South America for the first time. Queen + Adam reunite to play a series of dates there including Rock in Rio which Queen inaugurated some 30 years ago.

    luval, Axxxel, I don’t want to think about the mortality either. Carpe diem! They seem healthy and strong now and enjoying these years with Adam. Wish for as much time as possible. Their love of performing and for each other will help.

    “I noticed some dodgy sound moments during Queen’s set too. I’m surprised that there were so many problems at such a major event. Fortunately both bands were awesome enough to overcome the technical stuff ups but that shouldn’t happen at events like this, certainly not to that extent. I recall Lambert had to restrict himself to centre stage a lot because the sound from his mic would cut out if he went to wings etc and Brian May had problems with his guitar sound as well as a major sound cut during Save Me.”

    Yes HK fan, I love the contestants who seem unaware of how good they are. I can’t believe a teacher told her to forget about being a singer. I would understand “have a back-up plan” but to just say no, is terrible. I thought she was amazing, and I’m not usually as keen on female voices.

    Hello Everyone, I am writing to tell you, with Ron’s permission, that he has had a very rough week.

    Last Friday night he had a fall in his home and woke up the next morning unable to move. He managed to call luval before the ambulance came and she contacted us. Sleepwalker1877 and I went down to the hospitals near Ron’s house and eventually found him and his partner awaiting X-ray results.

    The doctors told him it would continue to be very painful for a while but the small bone that he had broken would heal itself in about 6 weeks – just in time for Halloween Smile .

    We were jubilant and, deciding that getting into and out of a cab would be too painful, happily wheeled him home through the city streets in a “borrowed” wheelchair that we returned to the hospital without their being any the wiser.

    Everything seemed to be on track until Monday night when he was recalled to the hospital for additional testing and that is where he still is for the next few days.

    He has had a lot of company. Sleepwalker1877, M and P have visited him. Angelowal and Milkywayfairy are going today and I will go tomorrow. Northern Spirit talked to him on the phone last night and luval, who is always his first call when he is in trouble, has been amazing.

    Tomorrow we are going to sort out whether he can keep up with the QAL concerts over the next few days with Wi-Fi (if they have it) or video downloads.

    He is in good spirits and sends his love.

    AWW RON I am so sorry to hear of your misfortune. Do everything they tell you so you can heal super fast. I hope to see your bright smile around here really soon.

    aww Ron…. the Duke and I are truly sorry to hear about your mishap and send ‘get well soon’ wishes. The key point here is ‘you can’t keep a good man down’ and you’re one of the good ones! How blessed to have our wonderful and caring Canadian ALLers watching out for you and keeping us updated. Hugs, thoughts and prayers heading your way!

    Not sure about that Goosebumps movie report. I watched the trailer today and did not hear it. There is a passage that sounds a little like it but I am not convinced, but I could be wrong.
