August saw Adam globetrotting to Australia, New Zealand, US, Germany, Poland, and England promoting The Original High. But the travel doesn’t stop there as he heads to South America for the first time. Queen + Adam reunite to play a series of dates there including Rock in Rio which Queen inaugurated some 30 years ago.

    The underbelly of foreign language press: the comments on that Globo article are the same vicious crap we used to see in the early stages of QAL. No originality, idiots.
    And this one from eonline.brasil ffs calls Adam the guy who slept with famous men pretending to be straight in the middle of the f**king article! The rest is complimentary, about how nice he is to the fans, but that line is uncalled for IMHO. ASSES.

    In recent years Queen have been touring non-stop with Adam Lambert at the helm and although it’s hard to imagine the band playing Glasto without Freddie Mercury, fans have taken to Adam well and would do a pretty stellar job.

    With anthems that just beg for audiences to sing-a-long to them, Queen would top off what would surely be an epic weekend in Somerset.

    My first reaction to Roger’s comment about this concert being one of the last was Oh No!! They have to come back to the USA for more, especially since many people are just finding out about the tour. My second reaction was Super Bowl Committee, that message was for you! Seize the moment and sign them up quick for an epic 50th Anniversary Halftime Show!! Bruno can come back any time!

    Luval in this article Roberta Medina (daughter of the guy that created RIR) says that Queen is the biggest reason why RIR exists today. They were the first band to sing with them back in 85 and only after that other attractions had the courage to come to Brazil.

    Bri says that he remembers the noise of people singing along with Queen 30 years ago and that they came back to London energized after that show. He also said that Adam and Freddie are similar in the way they connect with the audience and that something special happens when Adam sets his foot on stage.

    Adam said he´s waiting for six months now to come to SA, he was counting the days. He´s excited to go out also and meet people.

    There are other things said but it was already mentioned in other articles.

    Hoping that the excitement and joy of these presumably successful SA shows will keep the spark alive for more concerts. Of course Adam has to get his tour(?) in order. So much depends on the progression of his singles & album itself. Sheesh it’s getting near to the holidays! I’ve already seen a Christmas commercial on tv. Think it was Target for their lay-away program.

    There really isn’t that much time left for Brian & Roger. Especially Roger. He’s younger than Brian but doesn’t seem to have the drive to keep this going. He certainly doesn’t need the money. Not sure what would spark his interest.
