Summer is almost over and so is the “Once In A Lifetime” tour. It has been a fantastic experience for Adam and Queen and for the many who were fortunate enough to see them live (and even for those who just saw them online). The concerts may be over soon but they live on in our memories and on Youtube (since our memories cannot always be relied upon). They will have to do for now as we wait for new music from Adam and possibly another tour in 2015. It will be here before we know it!

    You know what I really love?
    That Adam is one of the cool kids now. Look at him in these pictures…there can be no doubt in anyone’s mind that he is among peers – or rather, that he is the peer of those he is among.
    This might be the first time (IMHO) that true ‘peer-dom’ with companion A-listers has been so clear. The body language, the comfort level all around…yup, he is one of them.

    Well said, Kradamour! We’ve been hoping for this for a long time. I remember you and I discussing this in some of his talk show appearances a few years back – he just wasn’t comfortable. And now he clearly is – soooo great to see!!!

    Think I’ve downloaded every vid of that song, mils – love all the venues (Korea when they were all ecstatic at the end) – Osaka (he knew what he was doing in this one) – and Tokyo – one of my favs is still Tokyo “Dai Lambert” because of the audience reaction.

    The ending is spectacular – how Brian smiles at him just before Adam approaches the front of the stage – and then that note – arm raised – gorgeous – then turning and leaping, head back – triumphant – glorious.

    At the end you can hear someone saying “BEAUtiful.”

    Isn’t he lovely In Love ? I can’t help but think that this fill-in judging opportunity is also a ‘live’ audition for Adam. He’s now so professional, poised, confident and, as Krad observed, comfortably one of the A-listers.

    Now let’s just hope for Adam’s sake that Idol resurges in popularity and that the ‘suits’ beg him to join the judging panel next year. Whether he takes the job is up to him but just to be asked will be vindicating after all the rumours over the past two seasons.

    Y’know, we have said it over and over again, it is just so great being a fan of the man. He just gets better and better, more and more gorgeous, more and more known, gah, I just love this. All of this.

    His music, his voice, his beauty, it’s all just seared into my brain, fused in my neurons, I can’t even tell you all how often I have “Adam thoughts” every single day.

    Mils, riskylady, and AL, I also got James Dean. There’s something about those dangerously sexy men that is just irresistible!

    Just when we were lamenting our lack of Adam sightings, he shows up as a guest judge on AI. That boy is always surprising us when we least expect it. And those photos…I am just dying! So beautiful and full of deadly charm. It’s so funny to see JLo falling under his spell. I can’t wait to see this segment on Idol.

    The publicity has been great for Adam, especially with the mentions of the QAL tour and his upcoming album. Short term gigs for Adam on Idol are fine, but I don’t want him to do anything too time consuming for Idol that will interfere with his new album and the possibility of another QAL tour.

    Well, the (zodiac) votes are in, and we are disproportionately pisces, fish drawn to the waterbearer!
    Virgos are the second most numerous group.
    I’ll post the list tomorrow, it is late and I had a small surgery on Monday (everything is fine!) so I want to be sure to get enough healing sleep.

    I can see it now. Adam’s air, feeding JLo’s fire. A great match really. It’s going to be HOT between them for sure!!!

    I thought the same, luval. I think that ‘sarcastic’ is too strong a word – more amused/bemused – he is past the point in his career where this is genuinely useful but I think it makes him smile.
