Summer is almost over and so is the “Once In A Lifetime” tour. It has been a fantastic experience for Adam and Queen and for the many who were fortunate enough to see them live (and even for those who just saw them online). The concerts may be over soon but they live on in our memories and on Youtube (since our memories cannot always be relied upon). They will have to do for now as we wait for new music from Adam and possibly another tour in 2015. It will be here before we know it!

    Hi Axxxel.
    it wasn’t too bad at all where I live…..at least I didn’t hear anything!!!! I’m a heavy sleeper, and we have double glazing which really helps block the noise…..
    A few trees down, and lots of branches. The kids got an extra day off school, the T8 signal went down by midday, so rugby training, and a playdate at a friends was still on!

    This reminds me: I was on my way out of a John Legend concert recently, and two guys and two girls in their early 30s behind me were discussing what a douche Adam was with his tattoos and what not, and how he was thinking of himself as so irrestistable. Turned out to be Adam Levine. ROTFL

    I am really excited about this little Idol guest appearance. Maybe because it came so out of nowhere. And it is just awesome how all these QAL videos and pictures turn up alongside the story. Excellent PR.

    Wonder how it all happened, was he the first choice?
    Did Ryan and Michael say “Hey call Adam cause he is amazing”
    Is there a short list of emergency judges and has he always known he could be called?

    glambot, I think you are right.

    Funny, this just reminds me of some of the talk about Joan Rivers. I saw both Kelly Ripa and Hoda and Kathy Lee talk about how Joan would stand in for them or be a guest if someone dropped out, all at the last minute.

    Now, Joan was “tried and true”, a sure thing, she always delivered the goods.

    So, maybe Adam is now “tried and true”, able to deliver the goods at the last minute. Joan lived in NY though. Wonder if Adam got the call as soon as Keith had to leave, or if he was already in NY? Wonder if he had to take the red eye from LA?

    Also wonder if they asked others before Adam said yes?

    Whatever. It’s him. He looks fantastic. He is all over the “news” again.

    And from the looks of it, he charmed the pants off everyone.

    Again.
