Summer is almost over and so is the “Once In A Lifetime” tour. It has been a fantastic experience for Adam and Queen and for the many who were fortunate enough to see them live (and even for those who just saw them online). The concerts may be over soon but they live on in our memories and on Youtube (since our memories cannot always be relied upon). They will have to do for now as we wait for new music from Adam and possibly another tour in 2015. It will be here before we know it!

    ulti, I don’t subscribe to Cloud but I was able to download the new U2 album a few days ago, directly from itunes into my music library. All that is required is that you have an account with iTunes. The album is available for free download until October 13th. I haven’t listened to it yet and will delete the songs if they’re crappy.

    I got the 2014 calendar last year made from the concert posters, someone posted the link on here….its great. Maybe it’ll come up again in the next few weeks.

    Yes, I could download the U2 album into my iTunes, angelowal, but decided not to as only liked a track or two and you have to dl the entire thing.

    Some peeps were saying it was downloaded without their wanting it – wonder how that happened.

    (Maybe I’ll do what you did – dl and uncheck what I don’t want – hate clutter though.)

    Here is Billboard’s Q&A about the U2 release. Much easier to understand to me why it was done. If it works (counting on people to buy the deluxe album when it comes out) then their new manager Guy Oseary was a genius. I think kids will still illegally download anything they want!!!

    Suppose I should go to my iTunes to see if it’s there. I only like two songs they ever did…Angel in Harlem and Beautiful Day.

    eta: nope, don’t see it. yay! How dare they shove it down peoples’ throats.

    Now Maroon 5 has the top album of the week, sold 164,000 but analysts are saying that’s not great.

    Hope Adam’s team will possibly do something out of the box but doubt it. They’ve got to get Jimmy Iovine on board! IMO. The industry is waiting now to see about this U2 thing.

    Hey everyone. We could make our own calendar. We would have to narrow down the 35 posters to 12, and just download them to a site that makes calendars. It’s not that hard, I could organize it and then just give everyone the link to order on their own. That way we would just be making it for ourselves and not selling someone’s property for profit.

    I am really not a fan of the people taking pictures of Adam or using others pics or making cd’s of his concerts and selling things with his likeness without his specific permission.

    If we make our own or if we make things to give away it’s totally different, at least to me anyway.

    great idea glambotgram…the calendar from 2014 has 2 posters per page. Its not very big, but thats a plus as I can keep it by by computer and look at it a lot…

    on a 2nd look, would also probably add numbers 5, 9, 11 (that smile), 14, 20, 28, 30, 32 and 33!!!!!

    definitely not number 13 though…don’t like Freddies head in the Q, reminds me of the ‘baddie’ in Sharkboy and Lavagirl!!

    My favorites so far 1, 3, 4, 7, 11, 12, 14, 17, 18, 19, 24, 28, 35. Oops that’s more than 12. Don’t like number 13 either. these numbers will change as I study them more. I might just go to each show’s thread & really look at the top picture. Maybe play a little tune as I go along. Smile
