Summer is almost over and so is the “Once In A Lifetime” tour. It has been a fantastic experience for Adam and Queen and for the many who were fortunate enough to see them live (and even for those who just saw them online). The concerts may be over soon but they live on in our memories and on Youtube (since our memories cannot always be relied upon). They will have to do for now as we wait for new music from Adam and possibly another tour in 2015. It will be here before we know it!

    David Bowie Documentary to Screen in the U.S.

    The touring exhibition “David Bowie is,” which first took over London’s Victoria and Albert Museum last year, will be touching down in Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art on September 23rd and remaining on display in the Windy City through the rest of 2014. But that’s the only place in the U.S. the massive Bowie retrospective will visit – American Bowie diehards need not despair in too tragic a fashion, though, because a documentary about the popular exhibition will screen in U.S. theaters on the same day Chicago takes official temporary ownership of the career-spanning show.

    Aaaah, Toronto! What a lovely group of ALL’ers I had the pleasure of meeting July 12-13! Never forget meeting Ron for the first time! And sitting next to cher at dinner – priceless! Don’t want to leave anyone out so I’ll stop there. I really can’t believe it was 2 months ago already!

    Axxxel, I feel the same way about this vocal, of “The Show Must Go On”. Adam must have been quite anxious, about performing with Queen in front of a huge scrutinizing audience. Oh, and Adam looked mighty fierce, with that fabulous jacket! The haircut, not so much.

    The Vancouver B.C. Concert that we attended seems ages ago, after watching all the other concerts. Will never forget that magical trip & all our adventure’s. Heart

    Good thing I have been swimming 3 to 4 times a week, or my ass would be over flowing my chair!!!

    So I gave my doctor friend at work the youtube address of WWTLF from Auckland 3sep. Two people recommended that one to me. It is beautiful. It’s the one by nzrockgigs, although there are many good ones there. I won’t see him for 2-3 weeks. He said he’ll watch it tonight. I don’t believe him. We’ll see what happens!

    Now ultimathule that Queen album is NOT the one they’ve been talking about right? Or is it?

    Calling my friends downtown right now!

    I have alerted friends downtown in case he goes shopping!
    He did visit Portland Luggage once, which is owned by a friend of mine. Caters to a lot of Jewish clientele.
    When Adam came into the store, he recognized him, and said,” Well well, this is the young man that should have won American Idol. As far as I’m concerned HE DID!”
    He actually is quite funny, and has quite a few stories about celebrities.

    It shouldn’t at all. Watch him. He uses his lower abdominals, and sings properly. You can see his abs working in some videos, this causes the singer to use their diaphragm, not their “chest” muscles when singing.

    This is what Angelina Kalahari has spoken about. It’s also what causes, she believes, the reaction in his nether regions whilst singing. That it’s not that music makes him “happy.”

    Waah. Cries.

    I wish it were all happy feels. Not his ability to sing properly.

    Queen Live at the Rainbow is a completely different release than the one that they are working on now with old re-mastered and unreleased Freddie stuff, Michael Jackson collabs, and Love Kills, likely in Freddie’s voice, not Adam’s. There has been innuendo about the possibility of Adam having something to do with this other new album, with an as yet unannounced release date.

    On another note, I was listening to a classic rock station out of Chicago this morning ( Elvis Duran was pimping a Jonas brother and I was getting nauseous, so I switched stations ), and THEY were pimping Queen Live at the Rainbow so HARD!! I missed if they mentioned the tour, but they ended up playing CLTCL, which I don’t think is on the new CD, but, anywhooo, they were talking and playing Queen during prime time drive time. Very very nice.

    HK fan, I don’t know if this has the best sound for IWBTLY, but it has very good sound, and I love it the most because it also has Adam’s declaration of love to the audience, and captures more audience reaction than any of the others. She said on Twitter she recorded from her hotel window with cellphone. Amazing!

    Yes, that’s a great one, too, rs – still prefer the Dai Lambert one as it’s filmed right on the stage and not all on the Q as is Riddle’s – find it more exciting that way – particularly the end with Adam’s and Brian’s smiles and the over-the-top audience response.

    Also – Adam is the focus of Dai Lambert’s vid – unlike the Q ones.
