LOL… Another one bites the dust.
There are so many reality shows out there these days that it is truly almost impossible to keep up with them all. I never heard of this one!
My kids watch all the bachelor/bachelorette shows as well as Survivor. My husband and I watch all of the singing reality shows (AI, X Factor, and The Voice). Now my daughter will watch The Voice because she is in love with Adam Levine. Yeah, we do tease each other about our Adam loves!!
One thing I do want to say about The Voice….
I feel they have a good, solid panel of judges that seem to work well with each other, the contestants, and the audience. They are all relevant in today’s music scene. As for Idol, I am anticipating no new news which is bad for Idol. It will be interesting to see how the competition fares out during this upcoming season.
Ooooooh, Adam actually held the Barbie!
I never collected Barbies, I just went to the conventions because they were so bizarre, plus it allowed me to justify a long weekend trip to someplace interesting by myself. I went to Baltimore, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and San Diego. Skipped most of the daytime activities and went to explore the cities.
Real life kind of hit me in the side of the head today or I should say in the mouth. Last night as I rolled over I thought the side of my mouth felt strange but I figured I’d laid on that side too long and went back to sleep. This morning looking in the mirror was like Halloween came early. My lips, both top and bottom were massively swollen as was the lower right side of my face. I could talk but not easily as my lips were swollen rock hard. I did find a straw and drank some coffee. I knew I was ok except for the swelling so I head of to the local Ergent Care. Seems I had a severe alergic reation. Too what is a mystery. All I did yesterday was help rake and bag up the remaing pine needles. We have two huge white pines, that are beautiful but shed half their needles in the fall. Went to the yard waste drop off and then to lunch at a place we freqent often. Did nothing unusual the rest of the day. Maybe I picked up something at the drop off as there was lots of fresh yard waste there. To end the story I took two pills in the Drs. office and got a shot in my butt. I can’t remember the last time I had a shot there. Taking prednisone now and am looking so much better, thank God. I looked like one of the bad plastic surgery ads where the Angelina Jolie lip job went bad. Glad Jlurks solved our, who’s that guy,delema. Like my sister said ” Adams so beautiful it’s distracting”
About these fashion shows…
Either I am very unsophisticated and/or very uncreative because I feel most of these fashions that have been on display are not good!
Yikes, JOJOSIE! I can imagine how scared you were this morning. Prednisone does work wonders for allergic reactions. Happy to hear that things are under control and you are doing much better.
Adam was really chomping on the gum and saying “like” several times in that interview with he & Paris. It seemed as though he was a bit nervous…probably couldn’t think of much good to say about that show.
btw, I love Paris’ dress.

Since it a slow night so far, I’ll post something I just read online. one day you will wake up and there won’t be any more time to do the things you’ve always wanted. Do it now! This hit me in regard to the Phoenix show. If I fly nonstop, I will have a full day before the show day. I’ve always wanted to see the Grand Canyon in person, not from the window of a plane. If I was younger and braver I’d rent a car and drive up as it’s a couple hundred miles north. I’ll probably settle for a tour, which last 13 hours. Anyone else coming early who’d like to do this? Now I just need to book my flight and buy a venue ticket. Adam has really help me to broaden my life. Bucket list #1 was Hawaii, #2 is Grand Canyon. Without Adam and some wonderful Adam fans, I wouldn’t have accompished either.
