September finds blond Adam back in the US after a busy August touring Japan and Australia. What’s in store for us this month? A third single announcement? Confirmation about Idol judges (is Adam one of them?!)? More speculation of a Queen+Adam tour or possibly an actual Trespassing tour? Will he add more shows in the coming months?     Interesting article, Kradamour! I learn so much about so many different people from Adam and from peeps on this site. It looks as though this guy actually made Adam’s spikey shoulder pads from the American Idol finale. Yes, it sure does sound like Adam’s voice to me. Wink

    JoJosie – you are correct, Adam took piano lessons as a young teen but he quickly lost interest because it was so slow and his vocals lessons were much more productive at a much quicker pace. Neil started piano lessons at the same time but continued with his studies.

    It is interesting to watch that clip with Allan because Adam has said before that he got the rhinestone shoulder cage from his good friend Mamma something or other who has this big collection of costumes and accessories……but maybe he is just the guying who made it.

    If I were anywhere (almost) in the States I would find my way to Nashville to see this. Melinda Dolittle was my first favorite Idol the first year I ever watched. Funny, she is still introduced with the AI tag. They just can’t shake it.

    Hi ron, You are up late! Melinda’s year they still had a different genre every week and she killed it every time. And she was so shy and modest, the back-up singer who finally came forward. I knew nothing about AI and thought it was a singing competition, so I couldn’t understand how she got voted off.

    Kradamour: I actually know (knew?) the woman who started the Barbie fashion shows. She was the marketing manager for Mattel Canada and the response was so positive, they kept expanded it. It was years ago and she went on to work for another company. No idea where she is now.

    I love Barbie, too, though I’ve never attended a convention. Given my apparent obsession capabilites, it’s probably just as well I postponed the impulse until something worthwhile came along. Better Adam than Barbie.

    Re the tweets – I didn’t see anything wrong, but I always try to see Adam through the lens of a non-fan and/or someone in the business who would be reading them.
    The three together are okay, I think, but the first one does (I agree ulti) bring the AMAs back to mind.

    I am much more comfortable when Adam addresses the double standard in person, with his warm and charming self, than in a tweet that can be easy to misinterpret by someone who does not know him well.
