riskylady just listened to the 2 videos you posted above. Brings it all back. I think Another One Bites the Dust is my new favorite. Spectacular. And his synchronicity with the guitar is amazing. Makes me think of the first time we heard this last November at the EMA’s. Adam wailing along with Brian’s solo. And I feel he was holding back then. Chills.

Hey jlurksacto! Guess what? The turtle finally arrived with the Queenbert DVD. He was pretty tired and hungry so I offered him some greens from our salad buffet! And it seems that he got tagged along the way too.

ultima, twilight and luval, I am so grateful to the Universe for living in this age of technology, for if not, we would never be so priviledged to hear/see all these concert vidios from other cities, states and countries. Even the ones I attended personally, in the exhilaration of the moment I probably might not have noticed such details in a performance. Just MAGICAL!!
And yes, I have studied Brian a little, read his blog, listened to his solo albums after Freddie’s death, and seen interviews and documentaries about him. He is a uniquely gifted man, as is Roger Taylor (he TUNES his drums, per Brian, something he never experienced with a drummer until then, which is what made Brian want him in the band). I feel that Adam is also extremely gifted; he not only has the voice, but has studied it as an instrument and has a pretty encyclopedic knowledge of music. His work ethic, his dedication to giving a great show, his lack of ego must have endeared him to Queen totally.
I love that Adam wants to do both his own music and Queen. He needs his music to keep his Adam-ness, and he needs his Adam-ness to properly do Queen as Adam. In short, I WANT IT ALL (AND I WANT IT NOW OR AT LEAST ASAP).

I have a feeling that Adam might be in the “booth” with the Fashion Police. The other night E had a segment on Fashion Week and they were giving a tour of Lincoln Center & pointed out the spot for the Fashion Police.
Of course that doesn’t mean Adam or Sauli won’t model. I would love to see that!

Thanks, HK fan – watched the whole thing – it was pretty much Brian/Roger-centered – not complaining – that’s what the video guy was obviously interested it. But there was enough Adam to get a feel for his contribution. Enjoyed it, but don’t need to see it again.

The one thing they got wrong IMO was Adam’s favorite book. I remember him saying that it was “The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay”. I read this book years ago. Lots of pages LOL! Excellent.

I watched the Kiev video yesterday from beginning to end and wasn’t bored for a second. Even though I know how talented our boy is I was blown away all over again and am dying to know what Brian and Roger have up their sleeves for 2013. In my dreams it’s a 20 concert world tour taking only 2 months, followed by a sold-out Trespassing tour, because the Trespassing tickets will go on sale in every city the day after the Queenbert concert blows the audience away.
After the success of the red jacket, the Blondes would surely want Adam to be there. Hope Adam is going. Joan is in NYC covering the shows as we speak and wouldn’t be surprised if she films this week’s episode from there. Lucky New Yorkers.
Hi adamized, I’m so glad some of you did make the decision to go to Ariz. If you click on the Veterans Memorial Coliseum under the Upcoming Shows link up near the top of this page, you can go in and try to buy tickets. There is a notation that tickets go on sale September 15 at 10 a.m. MST. So apparently the 24/7 info is correct as well.
What happened to the Australian event? Wasn’t it for October 13 in Melbourne?

I checked AO and none of Adam’s events are up yet. I know they are the last to add events but still. That site is going to hell in a handbasket. There is an event on September 29th and then October 13th and 17th. Here’s betting on a few talk shows as well.

I am very upset at the moment. It turns out that a wonderfully-priced, unusually big container of bluebrries I bought yesterday is actually small grapes and they are not going down well with my oatmeal and milk.

YAY!!!! I have my little blocks back for the first time in about two-three weeks. (You know, to Bold and Block-Quote). I had looked last evening and they were not here. Really makes a difference after you’ve had them and they then disappear.

LUUUUUUUURVED the McEwan boys’ video! Yes, that is exactly what I was hoping for and the bar just went up exponentially! I’ve watched it several times already…so clever! and I love that the one brother is more shy but still game for the project, the subtle interactions between the two of them are all-too-obvious to a mother of two sons! and I think that Adam will appreciate that, also. It would be lovely if these boys won. The penguins omg…!

The McEwan brothers’ video is so well done. I especially loved the penguins and the expression on the one brother’s face while the other one was dancing and grabbing his crotch. It put a big smile on my face. Having the fans make videos was a brilliant idea- fun for all of us and great publicity for the single.
