    and btw…I got my foxtail. It is faux. And I love it! If I could pin it to Jr. I would. I can see how Adam could get attached to it. haha. When you have it in your hand it’s hard to stop playing with it…I’m not kidding…I’ll stop now. lol

    so there’s guyliner, now manscara, medges, murse (never heard of that one)…what else?

    I heard the term manscara in an interview of Bill Kaulitz one time when he was asked something about Adam.

    Yes, adamized, the sun was a most welcomed sight to behold this afternoon. The humidity was unbearable — seem to rise over 100% if that is even possible.
    Can’t complain though…. Looking forward to heading outdoors tomorrow without an umbrella! Smile

    Ron honey, I don’t think anyone would confuse manscara with manscaping.

    Although, I don’t think the manscara would work unless the eyebrows were manscaped. just sayin’.

    That’s a good point, Ron. He probably did! I’ll add manscaping to the list now. Forgot about that one.

    nkd..It was funny when Adam said that at the concert. I’ll never forget at Wilkes Barre when he sat down to start the quiet part of the concert he said “Do you like it so far”? It was said in a very humble way. I thought of that when he said “is that in” at Ste. Agathe.

    Oh, and Adam jr. does nothing. Just stands there and looks pretty. And was it you kradamour that mentioned the feathers on his leather jacket (the elbows)? I looked at junior and there they are! On American Idol WLL. Never noticed this before.

    I’m going to ask Mr. Doctor (that’s funny, Ron!) this week whether he’s ever heard of the word manscaping. Will report back.

    And I forgot to mention that when I showed him the no-makeup photos of Adam with Riff Mr Doctor said “why are his eyebrows so dark?” He was then called away. Me thinks he’s falling in love with Adam now. thank you, thank you. LOL

    mils…can you imagine? I wonder what the rest of the “photo” looked like? I’m feeling a little bit cougary (is that your word?) about Adam jr. He’s a bit innocent looking. I would love a full size either Grammy,VH1 Do Something or Ste. Agathe.

    Luval have you ever posted a picture of little Adam any where? I’d love to see him. Mils it seems like your here more when you have a bad day at work. I don’t want to wish you any bad luck but like seeing you here more. I’m probably the only one who’s visited the Idol tour threads. They had a great concert and response in Toronto tonight. Canada seems to love Idol. Scotty is immensely popular and James is second in audience response. James just announced he’s sign with WindUp records and will have a CD out in late November. Of those signed Haley is the only one who’s not dropping in 2011. I just ordered the deluxe Scotty album with signed poster for my 11yr old granddaughters birthday. She likes him and he’s a lot better for her to follow than some of the other popular singers. I think I’ll order the bronze peace necklace as I have so much silver now and I tend to wear alot of brown and earth colors. Yes this little older lady is going to wear the peace symbol. My children will probably think it’s funny. But it’s for Adam.

    Me, too. I have been really thinking about the amazing change that has come over him since idol – much more than two years worth of additional age…he looked “unfinished” before, in a way. Very attractive, but…a little bit generic? no, that isn’t the word. Hard to explain. There was still a hesitancy in his eyes, an almost childlike eagerness, he wasn’t fully himself yet. I guess that is the best I can do. When we saw him in Ste Agathe, he was fully himself, whole, joyous, complete. More mature, yes…but that wasn’t really the difference. It was the new completeness. And part of that is Sauli, I think. Not that Sauli completes Adam – I totally don’t believe that anyone can complete another person – but having Sauli in his life allows Adam to let go of that need and complete himself.
    Okay I give up now. Dunno how much point there was to this post! LOL

    Hi ron, Thanks for your lovely invitation to meet you and the other glamberts tomorrow night in Toronto. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it. I am staying with family and most of my time whenever I visit is taken up with seeing relatives (of which I have lots in Toronto). I would have loved meeting you. Even though I am only an occasional poster to the blog, I am a constant reader here and feel that I already know you.

    Lol – the sun emerging today reminded me of the end of TFM. But after looking at the incredible damage in states like Vermont, feel I should stuff it with any further complaining.

    With regard to the more mature Adam, agree completely. There is such a distinct difference between the eager young boy of 2008 and the supremely confident man of today.

    Dcglam, I’m glad you brought that vid over here. I just saw it recently on Idol Forums. They have a Sauli thread and there are several Finnish gals that post there so I check every once in awhile to see if they have any thing interesting to add. Adam is still popular on that forum , even after several years.

    Well, helloo everybody. Had a lovely morning all to myself today. Lots of de-stressing. Gardening, a walk in the neighborhood, lots of sunshine. Oh. And I watched the BTM special, only my second time. Believe it or not. It was on the night before we left on vacation, and haven’t seen it again.

    You know what? My first impression was that it was all about the gay. But now, on second watch, with no eyeball twirlers around, not even hubby to make remarks about my “boyfriend”, I absolutely loved it. They actually did a very good job of presenting everything we love about Adam. The voice, the growing up, the charming and ever so articulate interviewee, the laugh, the Trevor/political side of him, the club kid, the wild dresser,the good friend, all of it.

    There’s more sunshine beckoning….

    Agree with you about the sunshine too. It was a perfect day today. I feel for any of you that have water/elec…all the problems that go along with Hurricane Irene. Hope it’s all over with now.

    9/10/10 – the Glam Nation Tour plays the sold-out Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, OK. This show was marred by heavy handed security at the venue, provoking Adam to state his famous “just excited, not hostile” tweet.
