It’s time for our September chat thread. Hopefully this will be the final relatively quiet month before Adam’s new single is released. As always, please keep the posting guidelines in mind, and welcome any newcomers. Enjoy!

    Adam loves those feathers…hanging from the rear view mirror.

    We celebrated my Dad’s 80th birthday today, and I wore my Adam feather in my hair, in remembrance of the Melbourne FL concert a year ago.

    Truth be told, I was a bit disappointed in the concert. The reality is that it wasn’t bad (after all it WAS Adam!), but I had my hopes up for more based on the earlier videos. But it was right after the PAPS incident in Miami, and it was an older crowd, so maybe he just wasn’t feeling the energy. I was hoping for WLL and got MW instead.

    But I was grateful to go. I was afraid I wasn’t going to get a ticket–Cher was nice enough to offer her help, but we got through to get enough tickets for our group. I did get to meet her briefly, but I had way too many non-fans with me to spend a lot of time after the concert. My oldest daughter became a fan that night, my youngest daughter was fooled by the Adam look-alike fan, and wanted to go down to see him. And my granddaughter loved the music and thought he was hot.

    I wish I had made a bigger effort to go to the Tampa performance, but I hate baseball and I hate big crowds. The truth is that I just couldn’t afford it. My husband had been laid off and we didn’t have the extra money. After all this time, he’s still unemployed so I’ve got to start saving now for the next concert. I would love for Adam to come to Orlando.

    No not a song title. TTLO is his twitter hashtag signature. If you look at his account, every tweet ends with either #TTLO or #TURNTHELIGHTSON

    Apparently this Rico Love signs all his tweets with turnthelightson, something to do with a hit from years ago, and not Adams song. At least I think thats what I’m getting from twitter. But anyways, he sounds very excited and impressed….but of course why wouldn’t he be!

    Haha … Hello dear Kradamour, I’m being distracted by “Dancing With The Stars”. I’ve never watched this show before but, with all the controversy about Chaz Bono as a contestant and people boycotting the show, I hope I’ll somehow figure into the Neilson ratings.

    Too funny. The lead female singer in the group Kinship 9 on The Sing Off is wearing the same necklace Adam wore to the Do Something Awards, and the male lead is styled just like our boy. Wonder if anyone else is noticing this or thinking like me?

    Ron, I’m taping DWTS for two reasons: Chazz and Carson. I think Chazz has more guts and is braver than almost anyone tonight anywhere. And, I just love Carson. He is so funny charming cute and adorable. Did anybody catch him last week with Nate Berkus, it was so cute and sweet I got a toothache!!!

    Can’t wait til you watch Carson and Chaz! I love love love Carson. So funny! ( but his new show is a little sucky). I won’t give anything away on how they danced.
