Had a good laugh this morning with all these “rumours” running around. I think keywords are “negotations” and “rumours”. Maybe co-headlining but no way as an opening act. Half of the audience would leave after the so-called opening act. Really…and world tour? There are countries where he is way more popular than Demi Lovato.
If there is anything true about it…co-headlining. But that would be a total bitch.
And maybe…just maybe he did some “dumping” and not the other way around?
Not spending more time thinking about it. Adam is in a very good place. He doesnt need to be any kind of opening act. And I think his Management and Warner know it too.

Last night fans trended “WeLoveAdamLambert”. Have never read such beautiful heart felt tweets ever. That may be what prompted his tweet.
I knew Nick Jonas & DL had the same manager but wasn’t aware NJ was supposed to open for her but then she had to cancel her tour. Supposedly he was to open for Niki Minaj and same thing happened. They had to find someone to hook him to. Lol. My opinion only but I’m thinking DL’s team wouldn’t accept the terms Warner wanted for Adam….money or whatever…the absolute best he deserves. Yes, negotiations. Personally am very glad it worked out like this.

Sad for Adam, but on the other hand, this collaboration was maybe meant to make Demi more popular in certain countries where Adam is already popular and to introduce Adam to a different audience.

Remember ALL – Any publicity is good publicity. It’s very possible that Warner Bros leaked this version of the negotiations to highlight the fact that Adam is currently doing shows all across the country from now through the middle of December so that if you do in fact love Adam Lambert, go see him!!

So I just got back from the grocery store. Ran into an old friend who LOVES Adam…knows about all my travels, etc. She saw him on the Today show, remarked how gorgeous he is and of course the voice! She loves the signature AL high notes.
But she asked why she really doesn’t hear much from him…what’s he doing…the usual. I said he’s a worldwide superstar but there’s still the U.S that he has to conquer & be accepted like the rest of the world. And what did she say? “it’s probably because of what he did on that awards show a while back”. She really didn’t care but firmly believes that’s the problem.
It will never end. The jerk at work brings it up all the time. Obviously it’s on youtube so anyone can see. I am really sick and tired of hearing it from random people.
I believe there is much truth to the story but using the words “dumped” is a joke. Negotiations fell through. Demi & Adam wouldn’t be “sitting at the table”. Her music is Disney-ish but the latest stuff is sexy (???). Or supposed to be with her new bondage image. lol.
luval people sometimes forget and sometimes remember… some say until now that Adam should have won Idol… others think like your friend about “that awardshow”…
Maybe it will take another generation and another album to win America over. In the meantime, Adam can enjoy the love he gets from the other corners of the world.

I so agree with you. And, if DL and NJ are so hot, why not tour alone? Simple reason, neither has a substantial intl fan base, which Adam could provide. I’m very happy, they probably didn’t want to pony up his price for that. Like I said, her intl dates on past tours were almost 95% parts of multiple date/multiple artist festivals with built in audiences.
And TMZ needs to do more research; very little is known in the US about Adam’s intl career thanks to US media and RCA ignoring him for past years. Queen has helped bring him back into focus now, but that’s current stuff.
As we say in Journalism, the truth will out – eventually.
I hope he finds a good opener and goes it alone again!

luval & riskylady– Thanks for your informative and insightful posts on the whole DL/ NJ/ Adam situation. I can see why Adam would want to co-headline with another artist on tour to share costs and allow for a bigger production. But Demi Lovato??? That just doesn’t work for me. I’m not surprised that the negotiations didn’t work out. Adam’s management was probably driving an appropriately hard bargain. I’m very happy that it didn’t work out. There are far more appropriate artists for Adam to tour with either as the headliner or as a co-headliner.
Axxxel..You know what? I think you’re right. Maybe it’s not Niki Minaj but Iggy Azalea NJ was supposed to open for. I should do my research. Who can keep up with the Iggy’s & Niki’s & Demi’s and any other Sticky or Icky these days!
I’m not even sure what a co-headliner is? lol. Who shows up on stage first? Do they alternate songs? Sing duets? Maybe it’s the money…equal. Then it doesn’t matter!

-Adam’s not an opening act. I’ve said it before.
-Who knows what the truth really is.
-Co-headlining seems more likely.
-The possibility of a tour, however it shakes out, will bring us out in droves, I know I would rather see Adam with somebody than not see him at all.
-Large venue, small venue, I just wanna see our guy sang.
-It’s all good. Because the question lurking here is ” so how WILL he tour?” Not “is he ever going to tour?”

Although younger fans are increasing around the world, seems like they’re in their 20’s. Agree with you not teens or tweens, galady. He’ll be 34 soon. Certainly still young compared to other artists around. But at that awkward age in-between young-ish and older-ish. Just the way he dresses, talks, & looks he can be anywhere from 23 to 33.

By the way , I don’t agree with the comment about Adam not appealing to tweens and teens. I don’t know about USA or UK but here and Australia it’s the norm. I’m sure it’s true in other parts as well. My grandkids(with no prompting from me) know all his music. I only see them 2-3 times a year and they sing along to all his songs.
