    I love those “idol tour” videos, ultimathule and riskylady. It’s nice to go back to the early stuff. I was lucky enough to fall head over heels at a very early moment. I was watching idol and looked up at the Bohemian Rhapsody audition but fell in love at the jump and twirl in the street afterwards as he showed off his golden ticket.
    I have no idea why, but that was it for me…..
    Then I discovered Wicked, 10 Commandments and Upright Cabaret etc. Heaven! Youtube is great.

    That is what I have been concerned about as I watched his calendar fill up so much for the next couple of months.

    I dread the Adele onslaught that we’ll be getting soon. No one has a chance. But….you never know…the album may not connect with peeps. Music likes & dislikes move so fast these days.

    Axxxel, maybe they didn’t mention Gigi or stripper guy because they did their own little vids about loneliness, remember? Just before the vid release.
    Also, I saw a lot of people complaining on Twitter that the stripper talked a lot about the video and never even mentioned Adam.

    Maybe Adele will make a misstep like SS did with his creepy, self-indulgent Bond dirge. Putting his ego into the song was really dumb IMHO.

    Just listened to Adele’s Hello. Too wordy for me, not musical enough. Sounds like it should be spoken instead of sung, trying to say too much.

    “Slow Ride ” is such a treat… I still remember Michael Slezak loving that duet so much because his favorite Idol Allison was able to shine and harmonize well..

    I just read this as well. Demi and Adam seemed to have a good relationship during the Glee days. But it’s TMZ so for now I am just going to wait until Adam says something about it.

    I’ll wait too but TMZ hasn’t been wrong about much. In fact TMZ has beaten the major news organizations on most stories, whether it’s politics or entertainment. They are actually considered legit now.

    Reading the comments below that article seems like many people agree that Adam would outshine or over shadow Demi.

    I don’t think there is any truth to this. Adam isn’t an opening act. Time will tell if there is any truth to this.

    Just watched Adele’s new song/video. It is wordy, but really good, IMO. It’s gonna slay the charts. Wordy is OK these days, look at Ed Sheeran’s stuff. She looks beautiful, slimmer and I just love her voice.

    The timing of this sucks for Another Lonely Night. Adele will slay everyone in her path. Like she did last time. She’s had 4 years to have a baby, and write and develop hr new stuff, and apparently get healthier and slimmer. Good for her.

    I just hope her new music leaves room for our guy somewhere on the charts.

    I didnt even know Adam was touring with Demi, did anyone know this? Was it published anywhere? Adam doesnt need her does he? Adam needs an opening act, he is not an opening act, this all kinda sucks, and Demi isnt all that! Why does everyone like all these women singers anyhow! Their voices hurt my ears.

    I don’t think TMZ has been right about Adam hardly ever. And Demi has past ties to the Jonas Brothers that go back years. Look at her Wikipedia tour history, she apparently opened for them a few times. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demi_Lovato
    She’s toured a little internationally, mostly in South America, a little Asia and Europe, but many many of those intl dates were parts of festivals. I don’t think she has anywhere near Adam’s international following, so that would benefit her more than him.
    But this just seems all wrong to me – he tours with Queen WW and then as opener for someone 1/3 as talented and without the intl fan base he has? Somehow to me doesn’t fit and I can’t believe his management would do this. Co-headlining, maybe. The media gets this wrong a lot, one DJ even said Melanie Martinez was coheadlining Adam’s TOH tour when she is only opening.
    But, I think it’s great because I wouldn’t stay 1 minute into her set.

    I don’t think the “opening act” part was right but the rest could be. They seem to be confident in their story.
    I can’t see Adam opening for anyone unless they are major superstars and Demi is not.
    I also don’t see Nick opening for her. Thinking both were planned as co-headlining.
    But whatever, hopefully something better is on the horizon for Adam.

    I also like the new Adele song and think that it’s going to eat up radio. Kind of bleh on the SS Bond song, but it seems appropriate for a Bond movie theme.

    I hope this story isn’t true…makes me sad just thinking about it, and reading the comments….hurtful…..not sure they would be a good match musically though. She is a better fit with Nick Jonas.

    But I have to disagree with you all about Demi’s star power….she is one of pops elite, (not necessarily in talent), but in popularity, sales, social media numbers etc…unfortunately way above Adam.

    The TMZ print story said opening act. Guess that’s where it’s being picked up.
    I agree, Harvey said nothing about opening act in the video. He said touring together.

    I’m not convinced that demi is as popular as it appears. She had the number two album her first week selling around 55,000 copies. This is only a few thousand more than adam. The number one went to pentatonix who are very talented but not pop stars with huge radio presence. I think this decision was made purely on the assumption that Nick could bolster her not so great touring numbers. Just a thought.
