    I really need this blog to help me keep up!! So much. So busy. Such a busy boy.

    Well, Adamaddict100 and I now have our tix and a room near the Park West theater. She has a costume all worked out, I have an idea, but need to shop. Alas. Shopping. What’s a Glambert to do?

    I super hope he has a longish set, he’s the only listed performer in Chicago. I also hope beyond hope that his face isn’t obliterated by his costume and makeup.

    Okay my blog lovelies, I’m off to catch up on the new Fargo.

    I finally caught up with AHS Hotel, and gotta say it was too much. I’m a huge fan of the show, and all that Ryan Murphy does, but if episode 2 is as gory and bloody and over the top horror, I’m out. It crossed a line last week, and a lot of people agree. I liked every season so far, and was hoping for something great,especially with Gaga, not a bloodbath.

    Anybody else watching?

    Seems that Adam is slowly getting rid of his “ugly ducklin complex” that he acquired in highschool. Hopefully there will be even more unbuttoning in his next music video…

    Just imagining… his next video is a lyric video of the song “The light” in which he will remove his shirt but will make a turn of his body to avoid a full frontal view… and then his body turns into fire and he will dive in the sea, that turns out to be part of a heart of a beautiful woman that looks vaguely like his mother…

    Hopefully we will have a full frontal half naked view in the music video of Adam’s next solo album. sigh…

    You know, I love the video, and really liked the 4 “stories”, but agree that a little less could have been made of the stripper, in particular…the sexuality was pretty ouvert, as much as I liked the attitude and smile of the performer. Kind of wonder if the video producer might be gay, and got a little carried away with that segment!

    Then again, if we see other music videos, we do see lot and lots of skin from female singers and dancers… so I guess Adam’s video caters to the female and gay audience…

    And having Adam have this retro look, reminds me of his look during his vulnerable “Track of my Tears” rendition in American Idol… very similar…

    I also try to vote on any international poll that includes “Another Lonely Night” until the U.S. comes onboard.

    I love the challenge of doing all I can to help “Another Lonely Night”. I feel I can still make a contribution even though I have very little extra $.

    Hey everybody – it seems like it’s been forever since I posted here! Real life is so busy, mostly with work work work, I feel like I’m hanging on by my fingernails most of the time. I miss hanging out with you guys!

    Adam is such a busy boy, he’s making it very difficult for me to keep up with him. But I’m loving it all – the album, the new video, the QAL shows in South America, the recent performances. He’s amazing.

    So – anybody here thinking about the Las Vegas show on Dec 5? I’m definitely eyeing that one. Presale starts later this morning! Anyone else who might be going?? Dance

    I also just posted a little tidbit on that thread that settles the great debate about whether Adam left the stage between EITN and Trespassing/AOBTD to deal with sound issues, or to come back for an encore. Wink

    Thankfully the pneumonia has long since cleared up but the broken pelvis bone has shown little improvement since I was discharged from the hospital on September 29th. I move about the apartment with a walker and sometimes a walking stick. Occasionally I’ll walk unassisted on my own but it’s with great care and precision and pain and, as I expected, a slight limp.

    But something more potentially serious may be lying below the surface. The two ducts leading to my liver (that is also affecting my pancreas) are dilated. They appear normal in size at both ends but, for the most part, they look very swollen. The ducts are obviously blocked but the doctors don’t know what’s causing it. The thinking at one time was that I have liver cancer and that it had spread to my right lung. An Ultra Sound Endoscopy however ruled that out as no mass, growth, or tumors were found. The growths in my lung turned out to be left over infections from the pneumonia.

    So it remains a mystery as to why there is any blockage but the mystery got slightly deeper last Thursday when I went to see my family doctor for follow up blood work since coming home. He phoned me the next morning to tell me that the readings for my liver are worse than what they were when I was in the hospital. I’m having more blood work this Friday.

    What this all means and how it will end up, I don’t know. What I do know is that one’s liver cannot remain blocked and something has to be done about it. What that something is though remains to be seen.

    As far as Halloween goes, that’s a big question mark for right now. After all of the thought and planning (and $$$) that I put into it, the idea of sitting home in my bathrobe and slippers on October 31st makes me very sad! Cry

    There’s still time. It could happen. It might. Confused

    I made a 50 second video of the outfit back in the days when I could walk properly. The robe is a perfect replica of the “King Thranduil” silver snake-skin robe that he wears in “The Hobbit” movies (if you’ve ever seen them). The workmanship and fit couldn’t be better! I was going to go for the whole “Thranduil” look with the long white wig and stick crown but then I thought, “Stick crown?! I think I can find something better than that”. And … I did! The “Mohawk Warrior Headdress” is quite heavy and is made with crystals, mirrored tiles, rhinestones and glitter. Much better than sticks! It shines and sparkles and “pops” all over the place (but not so much in the video). I’ve since covered the staff with rhinestones to match the headdress and replaced the silver sequin shoes with black thigh-high boots. Also bought a great shiny necklace for the front of the robe. Oh, the train is so w.i.d.e that our hallway is too narrow to display it.
