    Said something similar about the ALN vid, mils – just not enough Adam – don’t understand why – he’s the performer with the voice, beautiful face, and charisma – even GT didn’t have the amount of screen presence would have liked –

    I really like the video……of course there’s not enough Adam, there never is, but what there is, is gorgeous…
    Mils….the video needs hits, so keep playing it, you don’t have to watch it, you can just listen, thats what I always did for GT.

    I love the video. Adam is the narrator of sorts and tries to show the other side…the lonely side…of a seemingly glamorous LV life side. Showing four characters out if many many that it’s not all that. I relate to it in everyday life watching people at work who have to put on a happy face all day but I hear of their struggles outside of their job.

    Sure there’s never enough Adam even in the GT video but I think that’s ok. The American public still won’t accept him in large doses but maybe a little bit at a time. And that little bit in this video may be a start.

    Luval– I agree. I think that the video does a beautiful job portraying the emotions in the song. Sure, there are minor details that aren’t perfect, but overall it’s really well done.

    Interesting that you say that, luval – do you think that a more Adam-centered video would have been unwise? To tell the truth, I think the emphasis on so many others diluted the impact of his particular role, reflected in some of the reviews. Even though, for this reason, find it disappointing, will continue to play it.

    Not really sure how to answer this. Suppose there could have been more information in the video about Adam’s character’s background or what he was looking/thinking for in his lonely nights. We can’t tell if it’s fame, a partner….I don’t think even in this day & age that a same sex partner for a guy in a music video could be explored. Not in this country anytime soon. So the video remains neutral.

    Agree, probably best to remain “neutral,” luval – but still, for me, could have been less of the stripper/gigi segments and more screen time for Adam –

    But, thinking back, the WWFM vid had an interesting approach on that subject –

    You know, I love the video, and really liked the 4 “stories”, but agree that a little less could have been made of the stripper, in particular…the sexuality was pretty ouvert, as much as I liked the attitude and smile of the performer. Kind of wonder if the video producer might be gay, and got a little carried away with that segment! Nothing wrong there, just a little out of balance, I thought.

    The stories of the others, even Gigi, who gets a lot of attention, were a bit “quieter”, maybe more reflective, as was Adam’s part. Come to think of it, some of her scenes (looking at her phone, e.g.) could have been eliminated for MOAR Adam, IMHO, of course.
