    I think ALN video at 354 thousand plus is pretty good right now for no single on radio & no video on VH1. I still give GT hits all the time. Use 2 different tabs. One for ALN & the other for GT. Turn down volume of course.

    I don’t seem to get the 30second ads anymore where you can “skip ad”. They are all the 15 second ads.

    I get a mixture of both the longer ads you can skip and the shorter ones you can’t.

    I am over in Vegas and I heard Ghost Town played twice on Saturday, once in the Burger Bar at Shoppes of Mandalay Bay and then later at the Reebok premium outlet store up the road. Needless to say I was very pleased.
    I must be getting old. I was offered a table this past Thursday night At Hakkasan nightclub in MGM Grand. They were hosting
    Bruno Mars’ birthday party that night. I just didn’t feel up to it. More like didn’t feel like dressing up and still not allowed to wear high heels yet so this middle-aged gal went to Chinatown instead for a late night Vietnamese dinner. Frown Now if it had been Adam’s birthday party, I’d have gone in my pyjamas and slippers in a heartbeat! Smile

    New on RS about Queen’s new release, with this interesting quote about BoRhap live:

    The tour also marked the live debut of “Bohemian Rhapsody” which, at the time of the Odeon concert, was on a nine-week run at the top of the UK charts. Live, however, it featured as part of a medley with “Killer Queen” and “The March of the Black Queen,” as the band didn’t feel it would be able to recreate the full song live.

    Kids are safely ensconced in their schools in NY and after a day at the beach yesterday to enjoy what just might be the last of summer weather, I am catching up here.

    So glad to see so many upcoming performances, and I am trying to hope that it isn’t his “tour”, trying instead to remember that he talked about his tour being after the new year.

    I will be going to the BooBash in Chicago, and don’t know if he will be the only performer or not. I’m hoping for a show that will be more than just 3 songs.

    So, here’s an Adam story:

    About two weeks ago I was having dinner with my family and with many people, some I was just meeting that night. A close girlfriend said, “oh, E— , you need to meet my friend, he’s a big fan of Queen.”

    So, we had quite the conversation, turns out he saw Chicago QAL, right on the barricade in the middle of the thrust. He has been a huge Queen fan since the 70’s, follows everything closely, and did not like Paul Rogers, but absolutely floved Adam, and has become a huge Adam fan now. He said the pairing of Queen plus Adam is “perfect” and magical. He loved STL and KQ , the whole campiness of the sofa, and all. He was stunned by WWTLF, he said he’s never ever had a moment like that before, the match of voice, charisma and song floored him and brought tears to his eyes.

    Needless to say, we had a high energy and fun conversation.

    My college age sons were once again left to roll their eyes at me. But, they saw somebody else equally as passionate about music and musicians.

    Oh, and my friend who introduced us? LOLOLOL. She saw the Dead 159 times. Love her so much.

    My opinion of the ALN video? Oh, thanks for asking, I’ll share.

    Not enough Adam.

    The Adam we do see is stunning and gorgeous and smiley and in a tight white t-shirt and channeling Elvis hard but we see other people so much, not enough Adam.

    I like the story, but to be honest the male stripper turns me off. I’d rather have seen more of Adam’s “story” of a lonely entertainer.

    I’ve often wondered what it must be like to perform for 85,000 screaming fans, leave the stage, party with co-performers and then go to sleep alone in a quiet hotel room. That’s what I would have liked to have seen.

    I have watched it 3 times. That’s enough for this fan. I’ll stick to listening to ALN, which I have loved from the get-go. My favorite vids are FYE , WWFM and GT.

    Last year was fantastic, the year before was Red House. Wonder wonder wonder.

    Oh, I hope he announces in enough time to make plans to travel…I’m game this time. Very game.
