As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.

After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie. Above we see a beautiful photo from @Alikat1323, taken at Adam’s September 25th benefit concert in support of marriage equality. Enjoy the chat!

Don’t remember seeing this before – “Runnin'” vid with pics from early 2012.

I’m thinking OOL. I’m hoping for some duets or group songs.

TeeHee, maybe a guest shot on Glee with Rachel and Curt in NYC, you know, because he’d be in NY.

Luval, I hope you can actually go. Sounds like a great charity and a great event.

Trespassing was #3 in the Top 5@5 countdown in Dallas again. It was #4 or #5 last week. Also, on their playlist it was at the #81 two weeks ago, it was somewhere in the 60’s last week and it is now up to #31. I do vote and request everyday.

I am thinking I may go to New York. I love to go that time of year and for a while going every year. One of my closest friends live in Manhattan and our birthdays are a day apart in December. Great way to celebrate!!

  4. luval says:

Boy, hotels are damn expensive in NYC! Good for you if you have a friend to stay with. But I’ll find something.

haha forgot about OOL. Yes, that will probably be the song.

  5. milwlovesadam says:

I was just over on 24/7 and followed the links to ticket info out of curiosity. There is a fan club pre-sale tomorrow. But the question is, whose fan club? Cyndie’s?

Anyway, I’m supposing there will be plenty of Adam’s hard core fans in the VIP and higher level seats. 500 bucks. Other sales are all week this week.

aely, here’s to hoping you and luval can go.

  6. milwlovesadam says:

luval, try the Beacon. You might just get upgraded like me!

  7. TexasWannaHoldEm says:

That’s right. Mils was nkd in NYC in the shower with no shades. But it didn’t matter. When you’re that high up who can see you? LULZ

mils, you make me lol on a daily basis! Thank-you. Kiss

But on the opposite end… my husband, daughter and I visited NYC last October for a college campus visit. We booked a room just off Times Square – we could barely fit the three of us, with our 3 suitcases, into our tiny room. And, it wasn’t even cheap!!

aely, I have a birthday in December… And I have a daughter who is currently residing in Manhattan… Problem is, after paying her monthly tuition, I hardly have any money left! But if I win the lottery, I am sooo there! (btw, can’t wait to see you next Monday at Texas Tango!)

  8. aely says:

Texas Just sent you email! We are excited about it too!

If I can make it work I will be buying the least expensive ticket. $500 great cause but that is alot. Hmmmmmm never thought about the ticket price.

  9. luval says:

Checked the Beacon, mils. Sold out for that date. Said to try other dates. LOL!!

  10. milwlovesadam says:

Oh Tex, now I’m the one laughing!!

Y’know, my room there was in the low 200’s/night. I’d bet that yours was too. The reason I went to the Beacon, was because friends have stayed there, and the rooms are “spacious” for NYC. And the location, 75th and Broadway, is just off Central Park West. It is soooo nice to be in that area.

I would stay there again, for sure. The “regular” rooms looked great while walking past open doors, and while housekeeping was working! I’m such a snoop!

ETA: luval, our posts crossed! Too bad it’s booked. Or, you could call and ask if the owners will be out of town!

  11. milwlovesadam says:

“” Hmmmmmm never thought about the ticket price.””

LOL. aely, when it comes to Adam we seem to lose our internal money counters..

  12. luval says:

haha mils & aely…I haven’t thought about the ticket price either.

  13. aely says:

I was really excited about New York…I just texted my friend and she informs me that her husband took the job in Houston and they are moving Dec. 1st. Unbelievable. They have been there 10 years. I never thought he would take the job. Ticket prices, hotels….well, I do have some points left (used most of them on my trip! dang it) but if I can figure it out someone can stay with me. May be in Brooklyn but at least it would be free.

  14. luval says:

Well, they are singing WWFM on the Voice right now.

  15. dcglam says:

I’m right there with you, luval!
Pssst….. I thought they were both awful (and so did my husband).
We thought they totally butchered that Grammy Nominee song. JOHO

  16. luval says:

omg…dcglam…they were both terrible but the girl was better than that guy. He made the hair on my neck stand up…but not in a good way. They seem to use that song because it really tests a vocalist, but there is only one person who can sing it.

  17. Oksana2000 says:

Checked the Beacon, mils. Sold out for that date. Said to try other dates. LOL!!

Sold out? Before it went on sale??? Does it mean that all the tickets went to some organizations??

  18. luval says:

Oksana…not the tickets…the rooms at the Beacon Hotel are sold out.

Anybody have any experience with this website?

    http://www.airbnb.com

  19. apal123 says:

That was the most horrendous rendition on a singing competition so far. The guy was so inarticulate it made me cringe. No one can sing that tune like Adam. He puts his whole heart and soul into it and actually makes you feel something. That guy just made me feel sick.

  20. luval says:

Couple of new pics from the wedding. Wonder what they were singing?

    http://adamlamberttv.blogspot.com/2012/10/pictures-of-adam-lambert-performing-at.html

  21. dcglam says:
  22. turquoisewaters says:

Ouch to that rendition. I clenched my teeth the whole way through. But the question is: did Adam Levine know the song by now?

  23. luval says:

hahaha apal123…you are correct…on any competition since competition shows began in the 1950’s (??). What the hell were the judges listening to?

  24. mmm222 says:

dcglam– That WWFM was SO painful! Compare that to the WWFM duet Adam sang on The Voice in China. It’s hard to believe it’s the same song. Is that the best talent they could find?

  25. apal123 says:

Sorry, I meant renditions of that particular song. Even the people that don’t speak English as their first language have done a better job.

  26. milwlovesadam says:

    Ouch!!!

    My ears are bleeding!!

    Oh. the pain. The pain.

  27. dcglam says:

The thing that really bothered me was that I wish Adam’s song could have been better represented. Then peeps may have stopped and taken notice of the original singer on US TV!! As it was, it was obvious that this performance by these two performers was not very well taken by any of the judges. Sadz!

  28. Calgary says:

Luval et al- I have a friend who always stays at The Newton on the upper west side because it is cheap but very nice… And she can afford to pay more than their rates, which seem to start at less than $150/night

    Aaaah. Sweet memories of perfection..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaV7s0kQ1hk&feature=player_detailpage

Ah, this is beautiful, mils. Someone needs to tweet this version to the Voice. It has no resemblance whatsoever to the song that was just performed on nationwide TV.

  31. milwlovesadam says:

I have to confess that I don’t save a lot of Adam stuff. I can find some stuff, and rely on some of you ninjas to locate other stuff. But, I have this one bookmarked, and listen to it often. It is just so soothing, almost like a lullaby. This new arrangement is just so beautiful. Every time I hear it, I’m still awed by it. I’ve only heard it live once, but, the memory of him singing it out in that field in Des Moines, with that crystal clear voice and being so close to see his facial expressions and emotions, aaaah.

  32. HK fan says:

agree with everyone, that was really bad!!!! i didn’t watch to the end, who did they pick?? I wouldn’t have picked either of them….

  33. HK fan says:

Its a public holiday here today, so I’m off to the beach with friends….end of October and weather is still 27c, perfect!

  34. jlurksacto says:

I could tell what she was singing, him not so much.

  35. dcglam says:

I could tell what she was singing, him not so much.

I know I was in total shock and my mind wasn’t functioning properly, but I believe they ended up going with the guy.
    Am I right, luval?

  36. jlurksacto says:
  37. luval says:

Calgary… I did notice The Newton when I checked Hotels.com. Will take a second look. Thanks.

Yes, dcglam…they went with the awful guy.

  38. aely says:

Wow. Just watched the Voice and was thinking it could not have been that bad…..Boy, was I wrong. But, WWFM is up to #70 on iTunes pop. So, there is that.

  39. TexasWannaHoldEm says:

Re NYC hotels – when I went in August to drop our daughter off for school, we stayed at The Empire – just across the street from Lincoln Center. After the nightmare of the teensy room last fall (and unfortunately, mils, it cost MORE than your luxurious executive suite!), I tried a new strategy: PRICELINE NEGOTIATOR!! Grin It worked! I entered “4-star hotel, near Lincoln Center, $150 a night” – got The Empire Hotel (has a rooftop – so much fun!). Anyway, with Priceline Negotiator, you don’t know what you’re gonna get, and if they find a room with your specifications, you’re committed to taking it. Worked so well last time, I’ll give it a go again. Smile

  40. milwlovesadam says:

Did they mention Adam’s name on the Voice? I missed the intro to the song.

  41. Kradamour says:

I have had excellent luck with hotels.com for rooms in several cities large and small, usually at a price far lower than found on other sites.
And once, I had to cancel a nonrefundable room – I called hotels.com and they convinced the hotel to issue a refund, their customer service is exemplary.
    Yes

  42. JOJOSIE says:

Jlurks I had an interesting shuttle ride to the airport. The driver asked me why I was visiting in Phoenix so I told him I was there to meet friends and attend a concert. He then asked what concert. I answered Adam Lambert and he immediately was very shocked and wanted to know where and when. I told him the State Fair. He was shocked as he didn’t know the fair was on and that Adam was there. He is a fan, but he said his wife was an even bigger fan. Needless to say when we got to the airport I pulled one of Jlurks DVDs out of my computer bag for him to give to his wife. He told me he was also a Queen fan so it was very much appreciated. You meet fans in the most unlikely places.

jojosie that is such a great story! I bet Adam would LOVE it!

  45. jlurksacto says:

YAY Jo, love it!! Assuming you made it to the motel and home okay. Has been
kind of quiet from Iowa way.

luval, when I saw you were looking for a hotel in NY I was going to suggest airbnb.com. I’ve used it and I think it’s a great way of finding affordable accommodation. Very reliable in my opinion. You could even look for an apartment and share. If you want more info let me know.

Yes Mils, CeeLo said to the contestants at rehearsal “We are gonna do WWFM by Adam Lambert. It’s a great song man. Story of my life” Then they all laughed. Tivo is great huh? Laugh

If I were in the States there is no way that I would miss that New York show. Aside from Adam, of course, and the fun of seeing Whoopie, Roberta Flack was my favorite singer when I was in my 20s. I was really into female vocalists then, Roberta, Laura Nyro, Judy Collins, Cleo Laine.

  50. cwm says:

So many treats have popped up in the last couple of days (aside from the shows in Japan, Bali, and NY, which are all wonderful news)!

Here is a picture of a fan with Adam at the Phoenix airport, so this is what Adam looked like when I saw him there!

    HKfan:
cwm, just thought of a question I meant to ask re your flight…did Adam keep his hat on during the flight, or take it off???

HKfan – Adam kept his hat and sunglasses on for the whole flight. Funny boy.
