As October begins, Adam has just announced the official radio add date (October 8) for Trespassing, which is the title track and the third U.S. single from his album of the same name. A Trespassing EP with a radio edit and album remixes will also be available on October 16. After limited success for the first two singles from Trespassing, Adam likely needs this third single to be a hit in order to continue onward with the Trespassing era, at least here in the United States.

After an October 13th concert date in Australia, Adam will return to the U.S. for a pair of dates during the second half of the month, on October 17th at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix, and on October 29th at the Texas Tango radio concert in Grand Prarie. Above we see a beautiful photo from @Alikat1323, taken at Adam’s September 25th benefit concert in support of marriage equality. Enjoy the chat!

I also think that Adam needed dancers on his first tour simply as a group to hang with, his gypsy band. This time? Not so much, maybe, especially if Sauli can join the tour from time to time.

How about Sauli as a dancer!!! Laugh Grin Kiss

  2. Kradamour says:

That first photo that you posted on the last page is just ethereal, glambotgram. Love it!

  3. Kradamour says:

How about Sauli as a dancer!!!

    He could do those cartwheels!
    I’m liking this…

  4. dcglam says:

Oooh. DCglam, we are both grateful today, jlurks via asif, you rock!!

You are so right, my friend! Blowing Kisses

  5. dcglam says:

    About the dancers….
I totally agree that they are unnecessary for any of Adam’s performances. However, I do feel they would add a little something extra for a tour that has not been a part of these past one-offs. The tour will need something different. Adam does love the spectacle (visual) for these productions. Number 1…. I am hoping we get a Trespassing tour, and number 2….. I would love to see dancers on stage.
Dancing Sauli would be awesome!!! Dance Dance

  6. milwlovesadam says:

    dcglam, ITA.

Except, I’m fine with Sauli dancing in the audience or off stage!!!

  7. glambotgram says:

I like the dancers. I especially like them during breaks much better than the girls and Brian trying to entertain.

  8. luval says:

Now this I totally agree, glambotgram

I like the dancers. I especially like them during breaks much better than the girls and Brian trying to entertain.

  9. milwlovesadam says:

    Me three.

With Brian and the ladies, it seems more like a dance club. With the dancers, it’s more like a show.

I guess it depends on what Adam wants!!!

Ooooh, jlurk, that slideshow is wonderful!
(Adam is wearing the ring that the woman in NZ gave him! It actually looks good on him, gotta say.)
In some ways even better than a video…love the opportunity to absorb every detail of his expressions.
Love the hair…looks like the silver fox/wolf/whatever is gone for now.
    Smile
But I really don’t understand his love for that jacket.

  12. milwlovesadam says:

Just watched that whole slideshow. What a joy.

LOL. It’s like a tutorial in 1,001 facial expressions!!

  13. glambotgram says:

I love those pictures, so beautiful and clear. I agree better than videos for detail. I gotta say I love that jacket.

  14. JOJOSIE says:

Jlurk thanks for posting those pictures. I was getting frustrated with some of the other picture sites. The slide show was so easy and the pictures so clear. Your making going to the mailbox more fun lately too. See you in Phoenix. Hug Left Hug Right

    YES, please!

  19. Kradamour says:

dcglam, the “sigh” in that little article about the judging about broke my heart. But I love Adam’s positive response and statement that he is open to an offer next year.

Maybe after the Nikki/Mariah debacle, TPTB will have sense enough to turn to an even-tempered, talented performer/judge who would be sure to keep the contestants front and center.
    Hmmm…we know just the candidate!
    In Love

  20. riskylady says:

Glambotgram, “Yoohoo, mils” is inadequate warning for that breathtaking Dragon dance pic, j/s….LOL.

About the dancing, I think a tour needs dancing and dancers. Hell, half the album is dance music. And Adam dancing with the dancers was so sexy and fun, Fever, Strut, IIHY. People seem to love him dancing, because IIHY is the video with the most views (33.5 million and gaining every day), and NCOE has loads of comments about loving the dancing at the end and wishing it were longer. Other tours have loads of dancers.
The backup singers lately have been annoying me because they BELT waaayyy too much. Many times their belting covers up Adam’s high riffs, his bread and butter that no other male singer can do. It’s been getting worse, since he did Broken English at the AOL Sessions. He was really ripping into it towards the end, and their screaming made it almost impossible to hear HIM. Check it out.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyY7GRgefNI
And I think they should just barely sing on OOL. Nothing personal against them, but they need adjusting. IMHO.

I heard it, too, Kradamour. Frown

  22. cwm says:

Ok, so this just hits a little too close to home. About fandoms…

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqYkERuoMN8&feature=youtu.be

So I guess we Glamberts aren’t the only ones? LOL

  23. riskylady says:

Ooooh, that Chokehold from the racetrack concert is freaking amazing!!!

  24. rs says:

I loved that video about fandoms cwm, and of course it struck close to home, but I read through a lot of the comments. Many people talked about how the fandoms had ruined their lives and I didn’t find a single comment from a Glambert among them. I guess that is because we don’t think the fandom has ruined our lives or isolated us, but rather the opposite. I do admit, though, I spend way too much time at the computer…..

Thanks for the link to the slideshow. It was lovely. The many faces of Adam in free flow.

I was reading the comments on Freddie versus Adam and the way I look at it (as a Glambert AND a Queen fan): Freddie is Forever but Adam is Amazing.

I have Queen on my iPod and I play them but I have Queenbert on my computer and I play them. It’s too hard to come down on one side or the other.

As Kradamour says, music and taste is always subjective so there we go.

It is hard to keep a balance sometimes…and I totally understand those who have waved goodbye to us to be able to devote more time to their real lives, because it can be … very… hard… to ignore the siren call of the blog!

  29. TLKC says:

mils I read your comment about the creepers on the concert thread. I love the creepers as long as Adam wears them with jeans or skinny pants.

The medges are my particular bete noir.

  30. TLKC says:

I wonder what rs is up to today. We are playing a game of scrabble online and she is beating me roundly. Her first word garnered 71 points!!!!

I love scrabble but haven’t played in years so I am horribly pedestrian. I was hoping to practice a bit by playing with myself but I can’t think of a way to enquire about that aspect of the scrabble site without getting some wisecracking responses.

Hoping that rs can enlighten me.

  31. luval says:

Kradamour…and that siren is always loudest when I’m at work!!

  32. TLKC says:

That fandom video is really spot-on, though I have never gotten into fan fics at all.

There was once a thread on adamofficial.com which started with the post: “Adam do my laundry.” Everyone listed the chores they didn’t do because of Adam. Some people actually didn’t feed their kids the odd meal here and there.

My abandoned chore was: “Adam Lambert mow my lawn”. This was shorthand for gardening, which really has to be done in the morning. (I am always on Adam sites in the morning.)

Honest truth: I lost my lawn because of Adam. I didn’t water it during our summer 2011 heat wave and the grass died. I had to re-sod it. No kidding.

  33. Kradamour says:

Kradamour…and that siren is always loudest when I’m at work!!

luval, I hear it at work too…but can’t answer it because the site is blocked!
    Pain

On the other hand…do I really want to translate it all into French for my children? Hmmm…some of it could be quite educational!

And note the practicality of this woman: killer shoes to be seen in, and then some tasteful gold ballerinas for the hard work of concert-going!

(This is from the concert thread, but like the tummy photo, is not concert-specific, so I posted it here.)

TLKC, sorry I haven’t been on the Scrabble site today. The game has just barely started and it is anybody’s to win. I will send you an email with a link to a computer site that you can download and play by yourself (against the computer) as soon as I find it. By the way, open the chat on the side of the board and we can communicate while playing.

  38. luval says:

I posted something that irritated me on the Caulfield thread in regards to the crowd. Since we’re mostly over here I might bring it over.

Yes, Chokehold was amazing, riskylady! And his high riffs…getting more spectacular…as it should be! Just shut up va-jayjays!! Wonder if Adam is getting the message? Don’t want to be rude (as Simon used to say) in pointing this out to him some way.

And if the voice insurance thing is true, good for him! You never know what might happen in life.

  39. milwlovesadam says:

It’s not the voice insurance that has me going.

It’s the ” in preparation for a huge tour”!!!!!!

Oh please let this be true!!!!

I do love the creepers, especially with skinny jeans/slacks.

That Dragon attack picture is so many kinds of awesome, it takes the breath away.

That nice picture from the races with a little tummy is everywhere as a favorite. Lucky fan who took it.

  40. milwlovesadam says:

So, it seems that Mr Soundcheck, Mr Perfectionist is having difficulty gettting a balanced sound with teh drummer and the girls.

The drummer needs to be behind that clear shield. He bangs tooooooo hard. The girls drown out their bread and butter. Nobody bought a ticket to hear them.

Hope they get it right for you all at Phoenix.

  41. milwlovesadam says:

Does anybody think he’s flying home today?

  42. milwlovesadam says:

Adam in A Star is Born?

It’ll never happen. Wishful thinking, sure, but not yet.

They’d have to change the plot. And the name of the character. LOL. Esther Norman Howard. The meaning of Esther is Queen, coincidentally.

Let’s see, closeted gay singer who can’t get a break. Is visited in a nightclub by a superstar who is closeted. Could be a man or a woman as a twist. They fall madly in love, one rises to fame while the other crashes and burns his/her life, and tragically dies, leaving the younger newer star grieving but a triumph in show business.

    OMG. It could werk!!

  43. ultimathule says:

Is the insurance to cover the management’s investment in Adam? Or is it for Adam himself?

  44. ultimathule says:

My daughter just e-mailed me back and said they should insure his million-dollar face – lol.

I’m sure there’s a number of things we’d all insure.

Adam in A Star is Born?

    OMG. It could werk!!

It COULD and it would be so easy!!

With the script already written and in place, simply change the name! That’s all there is to it. Wink

Adam would play Victor Vicki Lester.

Can’t wait to hear his version of “The Man That Got Away”.

    Big Smile

    Ditto!

Many here have expressed this huge issue.
Yes, the drummer’s have a heavy foot, and the use of the symbol’s is over-kill.
I think Isac has been the best drummer, that Adam has hired. He seems to have more respect for the music, and how it should sound.

It’s Brian London’s job as music director, to hear this. But, in his defense, the sound issues are different, for each venue.

The back ground singer’s, have been upping their voices, for some time. Really, Adam doesn’t need background singers.
I much prefer his own background voice used, and don’t have any qualms, about it being used.

If Adam’s voice is insured for that much money, it’s imperative that it is heard properly, for each song.
That is the instrument, that is the most important here!

Also, Tommy’s head banging, is driving me crazy. Put a hat on him, like in some of those photo’s, then he will be less likely to…maybe?
Well, a little is OK . But, less is more.
    Just not over doing it.

This all is very distracting, and not true to the music.

This ship needs to be tightened, so Adam can be loose & free to do his magic.
No drowning out, of Adam’s vocal genius.
Adam has to be front & center in all things.

It is a fine balance, that has to be achieved.

Adam didn’t sing Broken English, at The Beck Caufield concert. It was on the set list, but he skipped it! Hmmmmm?

So, I am also on “the band wagon,” so to speak.
