BO my favorite. Zack and LP IMO always knows how to blend with Adam’s voice. LP might not be a favorite but he always seemed to know what Adam wanted(Isac too), and Zack is just good. WILL in Fantasy Springs would of never happened without them IMO. I know old news but I can’t help it.

firstimeob, I’m assuming you mean Longineu here? If not, sorry! I have stated before that LP was my favorite of the drummers that Adam has had with him. He was “different” and I like that insofar as personality and looks. I was looking back at some of the earlier GlamNation videos this past week and can now REALLY tell the difference in their sound once he left. His sound is missing. I miss him.
Mils… Never saw that BO before, what a nice respectful audience. As always Adam’s beautiful voice is superb liked the banter too.
firstimerob, I remember that when these shows were taking place in Asia we were so worried that we might not get video all the way over there. Little did we know that Adam had such a huge following over there. LOL. With such good cameras.
But, the respect they showed for him by keeping silent in songs like BO and Soaked was remarkable. And you can see it in his face. On Soaked at that show, he almost seemed like he was moved to tears. You can hear it in his voice and see it on his face.

We had a silent Soaked in Hawaii too. It was a very moving experience to have that effect of beautiful song, gorgeous soaring voice, gorgeous man acting and feeling the song, in a venue with excellent acoustics and a respectful audience. Simply divine memory.

I think this may belong in the Napa thread, but, I do believe that the Napa show will be “historic” for Adam. It was simply different and magical. He got a lot of notice, and he was absolutely perfect.

Ceddies Yes I mean Longineu there is a difference without him I agree with everything you said. I am just not liking the band right now especially when you go back and view old video’s. I thought the English band was good even the Chinese sounded better.
Mils Soaked was my favorite loved this Asian video version OMG Thanks. Now I have to go vote.

I live in the household that is divided. I couldn’t sleep last night.. anxious and nervous.

riskylady, I have her vids from July 14th bookmarked. I do believe that was the best Queenbert show. IMHO. Her vids are excellent. I exercise to them regularly. Adam + Queen plus handweights is a good thang!!

I am still counting my luck with the hurricane Sandy. Almost all of my friends were affected one way or the other, but I was just plain lucky.
Was talking to Ron the other night and we both agreed that we feel so energized after the Napa concert!
Have to admit I almost didn’t care about it. Was ready to hit the sack and didn’t want to bother with the stream. Was so glad I did. He was absolutely perfect, mils.

Yes I too have felt energized since the Napa concert. I wasn’t sure what is was but I haven’t been so excited in watching video’s since Queen + Adam which I have watch many many times.
IMO I feel we got the Adam we love because of the lack of back ground singers and the lack of guitar solo’s, like he was filling in for them and we got more Adam. What do I know but I do know it sure felt good whatever the cause is. Yep he is so happy too.

It seems like all of a sudden RCA is interested in promo. A few radio stations picked up on the Napa concert-found this one from Philly. Saw a couple more this morning….turning a corner?

It almost looked like a photo with a hidden camera to me, mils. Just beautiful. Since apparently it was all over twitter I would think he would have seen it and then re-tweeted it like he usually does. But I’m thinking it looks like such a private moment (even though it’s fake), that he may not feel comfortable doing that.

Brian May and Kerry have a long history. She was the one of the stars at the very beginning of the Queen show WWRY in London, and often does concerts with him for wildlife causes too. They are on a November tour of the Home Counties in England to benefit the lions in South Africa. He seems to be quite the connoisseur of grand, beautiful voices (they fit his music!) hence his love of Adam.

OMG, just read her Wiki page – this girl auditioned on The Voice UK last year, and no one turned around to choose her!
I love the timbre of her voice, but in fairness have to say she somehow doesn’t have that “something” that gives her voice versatility like Adam, for pop music and even some rock. But she is very very successful in theater and one-off performances, and much in demand.
Thank goodness, somehow, Adam has the ability to make even reggae and r&b sound amazing (Prince “How Come You Don’t Call Me” or “Tracks of My Tears” or “Black or White”)!!!! The Gods of Music favored him uniquely.
