I think Adam struggled with the island choices because the question was what three “things” would you want with you. So taking it literally Sauli is not a thing, of course, but Adam kinda threw his name in because I think we expected him to. JMO.
Very interesting, and of course, she’s correct on the whole bullying thing.
Perception is reality.
But she still didn’t do her job. Which was to review Joss Stone and Vintage Trouble.
So Lyndsay is still playing the victim. Not impressed with her response. Especially knowing some of the thoughtful comments(like Rons) still did not get posted.
Bullying is a hot target word right now and I don’t like her pulling it out for a one time incident.

I read this eloquently written, intelligent article and … something’s off. Maybe I’m bias, I don’t know. But, I just don’t buy it. I can’t put my finger on it.
I have to wonder if she wrote this because she was criticized by other bloggers and not because of the comments she received by Adam fans.

Ron, ITA. I do think there are many aspects to this whole incident. We will never know what went on behind the scenes.
I’m wondering if this is the same gal who was trying to replace Ann Powers at the LA paper, there was some brouhaha in the past, which also seemed to serve her head on a platter. If this is so, then this Lyndsay seems to keep sticking her foot in her mouth.
I’m thinking she was “pushed” to write this piece.
I’m also just not liking the negativity attached to Adam’s fanbase yet again. And I’m wondering if every celebrity has this kind of garbage happen to them.

I can’t know about every celebrity of course mils but I can tell you from experience, to me, the most fierce, overly zealous fans are those of Judy Garland.
If you make even the slightest negative comment that might be remotely misconstrued as something not good … watch out!

Thanks for pointing that out mils. I had to enlarge the photo to 400% to see it. He has worn hamsas in the past and has one hanging from his car mirror. Gives me hope that he kept the one I gave him, or regifted it to someone who is important to him.
I am still thrilled for the whole napa concert. Incredible vocals and very good vids! And I love it how people loving Adam and RCA are promoing (is that a word?) him with performance and mash up videos, when there are no official ones

OMFG cwm, after I was finally able to pull myself away from those eyes (no mean task), I didn’t know what to count first, but I finally settled on his stubble hair on his chin and cheeks. I just posted a response to Ms. Traub in her apology article starting with “Apology accepted” (LOLS)
I notice that my comment on the original article is still in moderation (i.e. not going to be posted EVER.) It was sarcastic but there were far worse comments ahead of me. Also, it included a couple of instances of Adam being very, very patient and attentive to fans. (She invited people to post nice fan stories about Adam at one point.)
NVM. You can tell, at bottom, that she wishes she hadn’t done it.

A lot of nostalgia lately. Thanks for the link to BO, rs. I listened to FYE acoustic on the way home from work yesterday, for the first time in months. Adam’s Saturday set in Napa and a YouTube video using Nirvana made me hungry for some sweet and slow Adam.
A lot of the Trespassing songs are very, very fast and bouncy. The slow songs don’t scream “look-at-me” but they are beautiful. OOL, Chokehold and Nirvana. The moment in Nirvana when his voice trembles or blends two notes – I am not particularly musical so I don’t know what it’s called – it’s lovely.
