Second time Cody Belew on the Voice is aping Adam..Just sang “Somebody to Love”. (Am not even counting the hair & suit). His voice is just ok. It has no power. He’s on CeLo Green’s team so I am not surprised at the choice. IMO, of course.

Was on the treadmill during the Voice, luval – but then got a phone call and had to run upstairs – missed Cody – what was he wearing that was like Adam’s? You think CeLo had something to do with that? Cody’s fun, at least.
Well remember last week Cody had the leather suit with the “shoulders” kinda like Adam/Queen outfit. I do think CeLo has a part in this. I think he loves Adam, knows he’s a worldwide superstar and is trying to have a little bit of that rub off on Cody. The video should be popping up soon & you can see him.

OMG me too! For some reason I just love watching Adam sing in the studio. It somehow feels different to see him singing what was actually recorded vs. seeing him sing for a live audience. I love both, of course, but we get to see in-studio singing so rarely that it really feels like a treat.
I also love to see behind-the-scenes stuff for animated movies where we get to see the actors voicing their characters. For some reason, I just love to see the actual creation of a recorded work.

The one thing I don’t care for is how an action movie is made. I like the fantasy in thinking it really happens like that. I like to believe “it’s magic”! LOL

Cody has definitely been watching Adam with Queen. Quite the copycat, but I like him. Dramatic.
Yes – Cody and Trevin are my favs from what I’ve seen. But as far as STL – not fond of watered-down imitations. If you’re gonna copy – you gotta do it better.
That’s true, ulti but he at least brings some life to the show.
I also like that Terry McDermott…reminds me of some British 80’s rockers. Since I’m only 29, don’t know why I should know about 80’s rockers, but oh well. 
Oh I did see some this summer with Adam…that’s why!! hahaahahaha
I don’t really care for copycats at all. The guy has a nice, entertaining voice, but no VERVE, no LEAPIN-LIZARDS STAGE PRESENCE. I wouldn’t mind seeing him as the act in a nightclub or something, but would NEVER go see him in a full concert or buy an entire album worth of songs. And this: When Adam was on Idol, I don’t think he was emulating anyone. So, that as a goal is all kinds of fail, IMHO.
I think he’s much more entertaining than some recent idol winners riskylady!

It’s interesting, really, that Adam has become so culturally recognizable that many know when someone is imitating him. That is very heartening.

I am slapping my hands and tying not to type this, but, at the risk of getting stoned, or maybe tomatoed, here goes: Adams’ performance of Somebody to Love is 99.99 % better than what’s his name on the Voice but there is one little thing that drives me crazy. BB adjusts he ear thingy incessantly! In the vid I just watched it was about 15 times. During rehearsal they should tape his hands behind his back till he breaks that habit (IMO) Other than that, there is no comparison.

I recall hearing/reading that when you sing, especially a powerfully as Adam, the shape of your ear canal constantly changes.
But I do understand what your saying. It can detract from the performance sometimes.
Yes, have observed the “ear thingy” – but hoping it’s just because it’s a close-up vid – don’t know if the audience notices it. Anyone here who can say from the seats if you do?

CeeLo is obviously a fan of Adam’s. He has asked contestants for two years to sing WWFM. He encourages an Adam rock look on some of them. He has now obviously seen Queenbert videos.
Hmmmm. I predict two things. One, he will vote for Adam for a Grammy ( I’m assuming he’s a voter), and he will collaborate with him in the future. BTW, I consider HIM a diva, not Pitbull who will be on Divas.

Wow, that is very unique. I’m thinking shoulder/upper arm, so with his sleeveless vests/tees it will be visible. Hey, better than shaving any part of his head! Hope he has to start rehearsals soon, or we could see hair color changes, goatees, who knows what else his busy little mind is filling the time with.

I’ve been in a serious Queenbert mood tonight, so I just finished watching my amazing phenomenal gorgeous astounding Queenbert Kiev DVD.
It brought tears to my eyes and I could feel my chest fill with emotion. What an incredible show. I’m still in an afterglow.
