Just dl’d Brian Eno’s “Lux” – 75 minutes of floating in space music – ideal for right now.
Liked “Argo,” too – the end was a nail-biter even though you knew what was going to happen.

Ok, here’s some recap from the crazy ticks sales in Finland… I decided to go to ticks office 45min before the opening of the sales WITH my lap top & mobile connection. I was the first in line, only one person behind me. So I kept refreshing my site and got in immediately. So I chose “best ticks category” for four. I got lower stand, but quite far in the other end. BUT when the ticks office lady got her system open, whole lower stand (over 6000 seats) was sold out
There was also VIP seat ticks but not any more when I tried 
(I had promised to buy normal ones for some European glamberts) The info beforehand was only VIP GAs (standing)…
I was a bit disappointed, but I did better than some other fans – so many told in twitter and fb they didn’t get ticks
Or very very high in the upper stand. Well I kept checking the pages – and suddenly new kind of VIPs emerged! Damn expensive but I thought I need one! So now I have one of the best seats I guess 
And made two happy foreign glamberts and still have two regulars to sell. Many glamberts have bought those VIPs, because couldn’t get regulars. Annoying is that you had no idea about those VIPs, until an hour or so after the selling started.
Anyway, there are now only those expensive seats left, and some seats in upper sections. This is so insane… In a good way
For Adam too. He sells out any venue he does.

He really should do another Finland show. Hopefully he will when they see how quickly this one sold out. Otherwise there will be some very disappointed Glamberts. He is, after all, Finland’s unofficial son-in-law right?

I started watching the stream of last night’s interview this morning before I went to sculpture but I only had time to see about 10 minutes of it. Even though the video wasn’t great and it wasn’t synched, the audio was great. Now that I am home again I tried to continue watching and it is so slow, it stops every few seconds to buffer. At this rate it will take 2 days to watch. Does anyone know if there is a youtube version?

But it’s the stand on the side, but not too side so that you can’t see. Row 5 is great I guess, row 4 was the first row in that section.
yep ladynorth I see your comments and am ecstatic that you got seats at all. Now you see the stress we go thru over here for Adam tickets!! Not only for Adam but for all popular acts. Do you have a scalper problem over there too?

I think we have the same problem. I guess this venue’s choice to release the best ticks shortly later is a way to fight that – if you can buy the best seats for same price, who pays a lot to a scalper? I will sell my ticks for the same price I bought them.

LadyNorth, I just looked at the venue map and it looks like you got fantastic seats. About as close as you can get (seated) without being too far over on the side. Good for you. Now you just have to control yourself while you wait for March to come along. lol

cher, the 6 shows in Japan are probably about the same asthe 1 show in Finland. When his first 2 Tokyo shows sold out, rather than doing a 3rd they should have moved to a much larger arena and consolidated them, save his voice a bit.
I was driving my 10 yo and her friend back from gym class as usual on a monday evening, a 30min drive. And as usual my daughter took control of the ipod. Her friend always asks for the same 3 or 4 songs, but my daughter said “I am going to make you listen to some new songs”, 1st up Shady (without any input from me!), then she said, that she although she doesn’t like Adam his songs are cool. Then she said ‘and this is my favourite song of his’, and put on Underneath, sang it beautifully word for word. Then ‘this ones good too and not as sad…and on comes chokehold. I just smiled to myself, thinking…I think she likes him more than she’s letting on…(she then switched to Christina Perri).
Poor old Adam is really not having much luck with the HK weather. Just over a week ago it was about 28c…tonight its down to 14c, and raining.
I enjoyed the In60 interview a lot. I loved hearing Adam talk about his pre-Idol days and I always enjoy hearing him articulate his perspective on the music industry and his place in it. He’s so intelligent, thoughtful, and insightful about it all.
And of course he looked great!
I do wish it had been more recently recorded. Some of it was timeless, of course, but other parts felt 6 months old, since Trespassing had just come out and Queen was still in the future, etc.

I totally missed the interview last night. Had islandgirl’s livestream in a tab waiting to start, then turned off the sound & went to bed! Oh well, sounds like the same old stuff anyway. But I still will listen when it pops up somewhere.
OK, so I just finished watching the 60 minutes interview. While I love listening to Adam speak and he is always articulate and charming, this one just annoyed me. Of course, it was the interviewer’s fault, not Adam’s. Adam goes where he is led and answers questions, but why did he have to rehash every little but of “scandal” that has ever been associated with Adam, even going back to that incident with the paparazzi and the camera? And why dwell soooooooo long on the Gay issue. There have been some very good interviews on this issue with Gay interviewers, but they were different and much more personal. This guy was just repeating old stuff just to make the interview more “juicy”. I suppose that he wanted to hear Adam side of the stories, but still…
Of course there were some lovely bits, I just wish there had been more.

HKFan: my 9-year-old’s favorite is “Underneath” as well. Came a bit as a surprise to me, you would think kids prefer uptempo songs. Just the other day it played and I spotted her crying silent tears sitting in the back seat of the car with her little face pressed against the glass. Having to put up a strong and happy front when the underneath is difficult and painful is something she clearly understands. She likens the BTIKM video to her having temper tantrums and extreme moods, but counting on me to be there when she is done. I think kids are underestimated in their emotional ability. How they relate to a song may be different from an adult, but its no less heartfelt and deep.
Agree, turquoisewaters- when playing “DJ” in the car my 9-year-old granddaughter will put on “Underneath” – affects her, too. But her 7-year-old sister won’t listen – says it makes her too sad.
And also agree about the depths of children’s emotions – have seen responses occasionally that have surprised even me.
What I missed, too, about the interview was the lack of humor. I thought it would be a lot funnier judging by the first one which was a hoot. Well, if there’s a third at least MW won’t be covering this craperooney again.
Now I have time to listen to the livestream so here I go.
But I thought I’d mention something OT. Just got off the phone with Best Buy Geek Squad regarding my computer security. It expires at the end of November but the guy I talked to said “don’t worry it will automatically renew November 30th, 31st or 32nd”. He really said this! Yikes!!!!

4) Showing us through a beautiful song how it feels to be marginalized, discriminated against, outlawed, because of who you love. Especially in this interview, also in Canada.
