   Did you know this little tidbit? Newly either wrote or wanted to write a Broadway musical (I think he proposed the idea actually) where he would play Napolean and Barbra would play Josephine.

    I thought Christina’s performance was a train wreck, and what? All of a sudden she cares about the bullied, the undertrodden??? Or, just got on the bandwagon. And even Pink’s dance – that choreography was suspiciously like one that I saw on SYTYCD (can’t remember the name) and what’s with that look of being all dirty/muddy? Just ugly to me. And I like Pink and like that song, but geez.
    The AMA ratings were way down again – they’ll never learn, just the same old, same old, same old over and over and over.
    Oh, and I LOVED Keisha singing over Nikki Minaj – hilarious!
    Nikki turned and looked at her as if she had no idea who she was, then she strode over there and makes a motion with her left arm – I swear I thought she was telling her to shut up. Then she looked at the audience and thought better of it…..LOL It’s just before the end.

    This response should give radio and record labels something to chew on. These young throwaway performers get a lot of tabloid attention, but they aren’t necessarily musicians who people over 21 want to watch or listen to. The constant spectacle of noise and fireworks, special effects and gyrating dancers is a turn off. The AMAs were simply a showcase for style over substance– and they were rejected.

    So many things I agree… Watched couple days ago US X-factor, it was the first live shows. Poor things. Many of them really can sing, but they were put on stage where too much was happening all the time and I saw it wasn’t easy for those beginners. Some backgrounds were horrible, too much colorful screens going around, plus lights, over 10 dancers etc. Oh yes, trying to make new stars… Bubblegum pop. Anybody else agree with the article? Or I am just very old-fashioned I admire real singing and real playing

    I still have to open up about something. There are two ticket companies which sell ticks to Adam’s concert in Helsinki. Another one only sells standing ticks. The other one sells all. I read the info text about the concert on their pages (info not in English). It only said that he became a star from Idol and his previous concert here was sold out in minutes. The rest was about his relationship to Sauli. On the contrary the other company didn’t mention Sauli, and had a very good info about Adam’s album sales, Queen concerts and AO website address. I was so annoyed that I wrote a feedback to that “bad info” company and asked for more professional presentation. I just hate it when someone gets a wrong impression of him… Bubblegum popper, which he is not I hate to be this idealistic, I always preach for the truth, become distressed if someone is mean or changes the truth. Media often does. I could never ever be a celebrity of any kind, I would take things too seriously.

    I haven’t watched the AMA’s, just a few of the performances on mj’S. Didn’t like Christinas, I like her voice, just don’t like what she sings, and didn’t like the production. Thought Carrie Underwood was pretty ordinary. I’ve never really listened to her, but have seen 3 or 4 ‘live’ performances recently, none of which were that good.
    I’ve been getting into Kelly Clarksons music the last few months, she has a great voice, but her live performances never seem to live up to her recorded ones. Her image doesn’t match her sound.

    Adam in HK next week, we will be breathing the same air…but I won’t get to see him
