OMFG! I am in heaven. Surprise birthday party for me with Ron and two other Glamberts at Mercatto in the Eaton Centre. I got a sweet yellow jacket that is perfect for Trespassing concerts! Two other members of our Fab5 called me at the beginning of the dinner and I got a perfect red rose from Ron. Plus I got an incredible birthday card with half a dozen unforgettable pics of Adam signed by everyone. Plus, plus, I showed the waitress the card and she thinks Adam is cute and is a Queen fan and has promised to consider seeing Adam in concert if and when he or Queenbert comes to Toronto if I give her a big tip.
and so grateful to Adam for I introducing me to all of you. YAY!

Mils, hope your boys are OK and will stay safe. Cannot believe they would target Jerusalem, but then, they are mindless fanatics.
So, rumors are 1) that Adam may be heading to HongKong, or 2) that they decided to go to the Voice music festival anyway (or, were given marching orders to go).
Here’s the website for the festival, another gigantic event, looks like a seaside resort area.
Have to remember, their concept of “as we’ve never seen Adam before” probably falls waaaaaay short of ours, as most of us have seen so much of his before-Idol stuff. I do remember one of Shoshanna’s tweets about this was “sooo handsome.” Please, Universe, not drag…..But, haven’t seen him in a g-string, or in his birthday suit…..
Risky…I stay at the Hotel Fusion, a cute “boutique” hotel that is 2 blocks from the Warfield. It’s very clean, and the rooms are very nice, and are very nicely decorated.

I think that Adam was going to that festival all along. He mentioned in the VH1 interview that he would be in China for Thanksgiving and Sauli has been getting ready for a Finnish Thanksgiving. It seems that @glam_idol was out of the loop on the final decision, or maybe she was talking about another event the same weekend. At any rate he’s there.
I wonder if he will just holiday/shop for a week or do LOTS of radio promo and get some stadium concerts booked for his world tour. This could be amazing.

Its my disabled sons birthday tomorrow, 22 years old, I’m so thankful that we still have him with us. And its my daughters 24th birthday the next day.
Wish I’d known about this Hainan festival earlier. Its only a 90minute flight from HK. It would really be cutting it fine to get a visa now though. plus my daughter comes back from cmp on friday, and we’re supposed to be going to a leaving party for friends leaving HK. Cest la vie…next time.

TLKC, actually my son is in Afghanistan, which at the moment is (ironically, since it is a war zone) a safer place than Jerusalem, where mils’ children are. And my son has body armor. And a serious weapon, and chest pouches full of ammunition, and a platoon of guys who all have the same gear to protect each other. He is by no means safe – snipers everywhere, not to mention land mines, bombs – but when I think of mils’s sons, civilians, in one of the world’s great cities – which has no business being a war zone – my heart just stops.
Praying hard for your boys, mils.

Trying hard here to stay calm and just live life. We have lots of real life support, and many friends in Jerusalem, many friends here who also have kids in Jerusalem and Israel on various kinds of years of study.
So far, everybody is OK. The Israeli approach is “This is our life, we are used to it.” But, for my American mind, it is hard.
I do appreciate everybody’s concern, but, I would like to invite people to talk with me by email. And let’s keep the blog focused on Adam talk.
