November finds Adam starting out the month with a rather exclusive gig at “Live in the Vineyard” in Napa, California, followed later on in the month by his first concerts in South Africa. Recent information hints that these concerts could be the unofficial start of a potential upcoming Trespassing tour, but we’ll have to wait and see about that.

Had a hard time finding a good photo this month – I’m not a fan of the Glampire pix this year so had to look for other pics. Eventually decided on a slightly pensive look for Adam, from the Arizona State Fair concert. Hope you like it.

    That sexiest man alive has been out about a week now and was posted at MJ’s and of course all the usual suspects were complaining how People mag hates Kris and he should have been in there as Arkansas not Adam, etc….They just can’t let Adam have anything. But I think it is great! And warranted!

    Anyone in Canada know about this?

    I’ve seen worse photos…Young Hollywood Awards…lol…but he does look a little “worn” in this one for People online.

    I’ve been watching Adams vevo numbers, NCOE is catching up to BTIKM fast on views. A couple of weeks ago, it was over 1/2 a million behind, now its only 140,000. I just don’t understand why it didn’t get played more…..I loved the audience singing along to it in Capetown, they sounded great, like a choir!

    HK fan, ITA with you regarding NCOE. I wish I could tweet that video to all the US radio stations. NCOE and BTIKM both got radio play outside the US and charted nicely in a number of countries. I just heard Kelly’s new song People Like Us which has a similar vibe, but isn’t better, and you just know it will get instant radio play.
    Speaking of BTIKM, I heard it in Ikea the other day, and yesterday heard WWFM on a Miami station that has NEVER played Adam. Wierd.
    Trespassing has moved up 6 places in iTunes Pop to #152.

    BTW, there’s an Adam-related angle to the Patraeus affair. Apparently, NYT’s “The Ethicist” column received a letter earlier this summer from a guy whose wife was cheating on him with a high-ranking government official. The hubby supposedly didn’t want to damage the sensitive project the other guy was working on by confronting the adulterers.

    There has been some public meditation on whether the letter was sent by Paula Broadwell’s husband.

    The Ethicist’s columnist is Charles Klosterman. Know who he is? The husband of Michelle Maerz, writer of the infamously homophobic EW review of Trespassing. The possibility that she is currently dining out on this connection severely depresses me.

    Well that article was easy to read!! This may be a sign that a tour is shaping up. The Japan dates are towards the end of February and it would be fairly easy for Adam to book decent sized venues in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Downunder etc. before going to Moscow. Adam could easily book more Eastern European dates, now that Queen has upped his profile a bit.

    That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

    I am having serious thoughts about possible Russian concert… There’s also an over night train going to Moscow and St. Petersburg (which is much closer). The biggest problem is that buying a concert ticket, booking a hotel room etc. is more than difficult, when there’s no info in English. Pretty please to have a concert in Finland too before or after that, it would be almost there… Much more easier and more comfortable than traveling alone to big concert in another country, which requires visa too.

    Pretty big one (where the St.Petersburg concert is suppose to be). Bigger pop/rock concerts are often in this kinds of places in winter time, like the one I was on last weekend.

    Ice Palace (Russian: Ледовый Дворец, Ledovy Dvorets) is an arena in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It holds 12,300 people.

    Ice Palace is primarily used for ice hockey and is the home arena for SKA St. Petersburg. It is also used for concerts, exhibitions and as a skating rink.

You were moving, you were a young student moving into one of his first (based on the stuff and furniture) apartments, but you looked the same than your current avi Grin So I was helping you to move.     Well, this is easy. You have a deep rooted, obsessive love for me bordering on infatuation!

    At least that’s what I thought until I read this:

    Well, that’s a first!! Laugh

    I rarely remember my dreams but I did have one very harmless dream about Adam. It had to have been around the time when BTIKM was released because it was part of the dream.

    There weren’t very many people milling about at this small gathering in this rather small room with a buffet table set up along one of the walls. Adam and I found ourselves the only two people sitting on this sofa. We simply nodded and smiled at one another and then more or less stared straight ahead. I told myself in the dream not to say anything to him. Not to make a fuss. Even though he was by himself, I didn’t want to bother him. At one point, as if rehearsed and on cue, we both stood up at the same time to go to the buffet table and we looked at each other and laughed. Then we were next to one another at the table putting food on our plates when BTIKM started playing in the background. This was the first time I spoke directly to him, and with a big smile, said “Oh, that sounds familiar. Do you know who’s singing that song? I think I do”. With a big smile back he said, “You knew it was me all along didn’t you?” I said yes, we laughed and … end of dream.

    So not a “delicious” (because I don’t remember what I put on my plate!) Big Smile Adam dream LadyNorth but still it was an Adam dream. Big Smile

    I was trying to stay hopeful, but it seems Adam is not in this crowd of nominees. Some with no talent or merit, which figures!
    It appears that people don’t have a choice, which includes radio play. Pissed Off

    Grammy nominations seem to be more, realistic. Let’s hope!!! Yes

    It would be a travesty, that Adam, with all the fantastic reviews, would be overlooked.

    Ron, thanks for your dream Smile It immediately reminded me of something that I read or watched in spring (I read and watched a lot from the past too…) It was Sauli or Adam, they were in some happening (American Idol finals?? or some red carpet thing) and one of them went to the back stage or rest room to get something to eat and there was some celebrity, just comfortably sitting on the sofa. I remember carrot cake in the buffet, but not was it Adam or Sauli – my guess is Sauli.

    But my interpretation of your dream – a subconscious wish to be friend with Adam, not just a fan? Or then it was just a daydream for this kind of thing to happen, to meet Adam under more private situation like cwm did at the airport and plane.

    Not sure if anyone uses a service that changes your IP address so you can see anything on the web from anywhere. I change my IP everytime I go overseas so my ipad thinks I am in the US so I can stream TV or whatever is limited for the states only. I use Hidemyass.com.

    I remember when he was drinking Red Bull and all the bad stuff came out about it, I tweeted Adam. Did no good. To me the odds of him seeing a tweet of mine are zero to none. He’d have to be spammed with tweets about a particular subject for him ever to see it I think.

    Energy drinks are the devil and there was talk of banning them in Ontario. Mixing them will alcohol has caused deaths or near deaths in young men. I do wish Adam wouldn’t drink so many but I doubt he would pay any attention to our tweets if he saw them. Young men think they’re indestructible. Sads.

    Love the Huffington “College Humour” video. Has there ever been a less threatening or sweeter civil rights movement in the history of man? They prefer working through the courts over running wild in the streets and their favourite weapon is humour (and a little sarcasm every now and then – okay a lot.)

    Belated response to ultimathule re: why Michelle Maerz would be dining out on the Patreaus story. Maerz’s husband is (or was) enjoying temporary noteriety as a tiny piece in the Patreaus puzzle. I just meant that everyone is so curious about the Patreaus’ story that I’m sure Chuck Klosterman is getting a lot of invites at the moment.

    The sad thing is why I picked up on the story at all. I was so mad at Mearz after her Trespassing review that I looked her up on wiki and found out her husband was music critic Chuck Klosterman.

    His name has stuck with me because my nickname for Maerz is “Mrs. Klusterfuck”.

    So according to that article about St. Petersburg being on the 20th March, underneath there is a blurb about Moscow being on March 16th at that fabulous Krokus venue. I have a feeling these are correct.
    We also still don’t know what Adam will be doing in China on Thanksgiving, before his Dec. 2nd Hennessey event there. alidol said someone flew to LA and invited him to something.
