November finds Adam starting out the month with a rather exclusive gig at “Live in the Vineyard” in Napa, California, followed later on in the month by his first concerts in South Africa. Recent information hints that these concerts could be the unofficial start of a potential upcoming Trespassing tour, but we’ll have to wait and see about that.

Had a hard time finding a good photo this month – I’m not a fan of the Glampire pix this year so had to look for other pics. Eventually decided on a slightly pensive look for Adam, from the Arizona State Fair concert. Hope you like it.

Enjoy the chat!

He is going to sing – not dance, though – maybe just shake something – think that’s what he said in the phone call. Also something about looking in the mirror and not being thrilled – different on stage. Have to go back and listen again.

  2. Ron says:

Entertainment Weekly reporting venue for this event hasn’t been announced. Confused

  3. turquoisewaters says:

I hope he will sing “Hot Stuff” again. It was so fabulous in SF. He would just have to memorize the words. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJdpSrREGOU
(I don’t think I can go. I’ll go to the jingle ball in SF on Dec14th though.)

  4. dcglam says:

I was thinking the same thing about “Hot Stuff”, turquoisewaters. By the way, what part of California are you from? I always envy you peeps out on the west coast, especially California. Wink

  5. dcglam says:

Entertainment Weekly reporting venue for this event hasn’t been announced.

Hmmm, some Glamberts already have tickets. I suppose it is possible for them to have tix, but not know where they are going… Question Confused Laugh

  6. turquoisewaters says:

dcglam: I am an hour from SF in the Bay Area. I am pretty tied up with work and family for now. If I was retired and with kids out of the house, I could go to many more shows, but I am not there yet. I draw the line where I try not to let my Adam obsession negatively impact my family or work. (It is a very awkward age north of 29 and south of retirement.)

Well said….. I’m sure all of us here can relate. Wink

    Thoughts from Lyndsey Parker…

If there’s one guy who totally gets a diva pass into this elite girls’ club, it’s Adam, because he can keep up and belt with the best of ’em.

Adam will be the first male entertainer to actually host the special. Past “divos” who’ve appeared include Sir Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, Vegas legends Tom Jones and Wayne Newton, Adam’s “Shady” recording partner Nile Rodgers, and of course, the absolutely fabulous RuPaul.

And he’d fit right in…and probably out-diva them all!

  9. Calgary says:

LA Shrine Auditorium – 6300 seats. I would SO love to see Adam but as I’m going to be laying out a lot of money no matter where, I think I’ll wait for a smaller venue.
The good thing is – 6300 people to see and hear an incredible performer live!

  10. Ron says:

Let’s all hold on to good thoughts and have best wishes for Kradamour and her family on this day when her mother has surgery.

    Hug Left Hug Right

  11. twilightmagic8 says:

    This is just terrific! Yes

This will show all of Adam’s side’s, without splitting his pants.
I’m sure he now travels with duplicate trousers. ROTFL

This will on the coat tails, of the Grammy Nominations as well.
Finger crossed, because it would be a huge travesty if Adam does not get a Grammy nod. Not after, raving fantastic reviews.

Anxiety is high, for video of this, and of course the VH1 re-play of this event.

This is so thrilling!!!!!! Cry Big Smile

Thanks Ron, for the heads up for Kradamour.

A collective consciousness for her & her mother’s well being, can be very powerful. Heart Angel Rose Clover

  13. LadyNorth says:

Wow, great Adam news Big Smile So it will be televised? A lot of people watching Divas… and Adam. Great publicity. Let’s wish he sings many songs!

And a big wish that everything goes fine in Kradamour‘s family.

  14. Ron says:

Who is this nonsensical person Phil that I’m battling with over on the Entertainment Weekly site?! Name sounds familiar from “over there”.

He claims all gays were embarrassed by his character in his scene on PLL because he was “so blatantly hitting on” Aria.

I countered with the fact that Adam was not playing a “character” but instead was playing himself. In principle, Adam Lambert would not “hit on” a woman. Period. The scene would not and could not being written with that intent and his point was invalid.

I’m answered with: “And yeah how do you know he’s playing himself …” blah, blah, blah.

I thought it was going to be like finding a needle in a haystack but I found the short interview where Adam says “I’m Adam Lambert playing a vampire. I’m not really a vampire” and posted the Link (but it’s awaiting “approval” Am I going to have a Ms. Taub situation on my hands again?!)

I should not involve myself in these petty things but sometimes it just makes my blood boil.

It’s the attitude behind some of these posts! Really Angry

  15. Ron says:

I get it now. One can’t posts Links on EW, or so it appears, so I went the www dot youtube dot com route and my post went through.

I also told Phil that he just lost my vote for Mr. Congeniality. Laugh

  16. asifclueless says:

OMG ….Is this DIVA enough for y’all? LMAO .. Grin

    Adam retweeted this one!!!! Smile

  18. twilightmagic8 says:

If that one is not DIVA enough, what about this one?

    OMG…Thank you!!! asifclueless Heart

I was wondering, if this would ever show up?

Such a thrilling moment ! In Love

  19. rs says:

hahaha asif, I just came home from a meeting (yes, I occasionally do have a RL) and I found that gif from Dragon Attack. I had copied it and was ready to paste and post it as the ultimate diva when I came here and saw that you beat me to it. Should have known you would.

  20. asifclueless says:

    Ha..ha… rs and twilightmagic8 … like minds … Grin

  21. Ron says:

Ulti? Is that you posting on the EW site? I posted with my initials RH.

I won’t mention this again here but I just can’t get over that Phil character.

I provide him with the Link on YouTube, a clip from Entertainment Tonight, where Adam talks about his scene and his role on PLL.

Among Phil’s assertions are that Adam was playing a character, not “Adam Lambert”, and that he was inappropriately hitting on young girls and that is especially wrong when you consider how old Adam is.

We need an emoticon for “Crazy”. Beat Up This will have to do.

Phil tells me that he doesn’t watch Entertainment Tonight (and therefore the clip is apparently meaningless) and that the Link has no direct correlation to what role Adam played on PLL.

No direct correlation when the video shows Adam saying, in his own words, that he was “Adam Lambert dressed as a vampire”. Question HUH??

Anyway, that’s that for that. No point in trying to reason with unreasonable people.

  22. firstimerob says:

The gifs are from my favorite video of Dragon Attack only has a couple of thousand hits and it is so good. I tried to bring it over from you tube didn’t work. London 2 Dragon Attack by Ki55 and Tell. Love it can’t stop watching it OMG the gifs.

  23. rs says:

ron, can you give me a link to the site where you are arguing with that guy? I would like to see what is going on there. Thanks.

  24. asifclueless says:

    Ron .. link .. please.
    Yes, we’ll have your back.

    Heart

  25. Ron says:

    Hi rs

    Here’s the Link:

    http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/11/08/adam-lambert-joins-vh1-divas-special/

I’m being absolutely ridiculous but I think I can truly feel my blood pressure rising the rare times I feel I have to participate in those kinds of things..

My last response ended with I’ll have no more dialogue with you [Phil] because one can’t reason with unreasonable people. Then something about me taking the high road and wishing him well.

I’m not going back to read his answer to that.

  26. Calgary says:

Ron It’s not worth high blood pressure!Phil must know NUTHING of Hollywood if he doesn’t know that actor age and character age rarely coincide! Lea Michele is supposed to be in high school and she’s 26!

  27. rs says:

Well, ron, I just read the whole thread. That Phil guy was obviously well known there and everyone was jumping on his back and he seemed to love the attention. There was no way to convince him. He said it himself:

Thats my opinion. I’m entitled to it, and there’s nothing you can say thats going to make me think I’m wrong, because thats my interpretation,

After he gave you a ridiculous answer to your last post axxel answered him very well and someone else seemed to end the conversation by saying that they thought that the article was about the Divas and not about PLL in the first place.

By the way, I saw the whole episode last week and the reason for Adam talking to Aria was so that she could write her name on the window (when he couldn’t hear her), and then the murderer erased some of the letters, leaving just the A. That was for the plot so that he/she could identify him/herself

  28. rs says:

I love Brian May. Watch him talk about Adam. They tweet! ROTFL

  29. ultimathule says:

You got me, Ron – Actually there under two “disguises” since used different browsers.

  30. ultimathule says:

And, yes, Ron – know your initials.

  31. Ron says:

    Hi Calgary!! Kiss

    Hi rs,

Thanks for the feedback. His quote you cited says it all, doesn’t it. A close minded stubborn ass.

I can’t get my mindset around that kind of person. Many times … many times … I’ve felt one way about something and someone will say something very different about it and I’ll think, “I never thought of it that way. You’re right” and completely change my mind … and for the better.

The EW article is posted and Glamberts start commenting how wonderful, so happy, can’t wait and he comes along with how surprised he is considering that Trespassing flopped, etc., etc, etc. Then deflects Adam’s hosting job further with PLL nonsense and, somewhere along the way, I’m the bad guy. Struggle

    Oh, well … Neutral

  32. rs says:

Oh ron, you weren’t the bad guy! You were just one of the many who were trying to answer this idiot’s arguments…..a lost cause. The best thing to do in these cases is just to ignore them and walk away. They thrive on having someone to argue with.

  33. Kradamour says:

Ron, cheri, you are NEVER the bad guy. End of argument.
    Kiss

Just sat down exhausted from a long day and saw Ron’s lovely post about my mother’s surgery today…it went SPLENDIDLY, she barely even looks tired after the tricky surgery, and some potential unpleasant results were able to be avoided.
    Such a relief!
Many thanks for holding us in thoughts and prayer!
    Heart Heart Heart

  37. dcglam says:

The amount of media attention that has been given to this hosting/performing gig is phenomenal. Who would have thought that the Wall Street Journal would be reporting…

    That’s right.

  40. milwlovesadam says:

Kradamour, so glad you and your mother’s day turned out so well!

  41. Kradamour says:

    Sauli is so perfectly proportioned.
    Chic

  42. dcglam says:

Wow, such serious shoppers and not at all incognito!! I’m a bit surprised that they managed to be in that grocery aisle by themselves, other than the photographer, of course. Wink

  43. Teri63 says:

Hey all, how are ya? I haven’t posted in a loooong time; RL has been lovely but busy! Anyway, I’m sooooo thrilled with Adam’s getting this hosting gig. I actually called it yesterday, but I only did so to my son, so he’s the only one who knows how clairvoyant I obviously am, LOL! I think this is an amazing opportunity for him. Whenever he’s on TV, people are either reminded of how awesome he is or are newly hooked in. Additionally, as an actual HOST of a show, it won’t just be the everyday public taking notice. If he lets his charm, attitude, intelligence, and overall sexy self shine, it may well open the door to other career opportunities. I get the people who want his astounding singing talent to be what’s noticed about him, but the thing about Adam that is so exceptional, IMO, is that he has SO MANY talents. I don’t think a radio presence means much in his case because he’s obviously a true celebrity respected for everything he has to bring to the table! I can’t wait to see this VH1 show!

  44. milwlovesadam says:

OMG. They are really trusting him a lot. This is a live show right? So does this mean that FINALLY he is getting past the AMA’s?

Wasn’t that VH1 guy at the Napa show? Didn’t he hear Adam’s naughty remark before Broken English?

Oh Adam. Pleeeease be naughty and sexy and fierce and fun and silly and gorgeous and dance and bulge and strut and prance and preen and wear fabulous outfits and boots and jewelry and hair and saaaaaang your face off.

But please, don’t say anything like that on the show!!

  45. twilightmagic8 says:

Kradamour , such good news, about your Mom’s successful surgery.
So happy for you, and your family. Rose
    Here’s a drink for you,…your choice! Drink

  46. milwlovesadam says:

Wow. That shopping picture looks so intense.

Adam ” Sauli, I have such a hangover from our anniversary party last night.”

Sauli ” Adam, really, I’ll make you a green smoothie.”

Adam ” Okay. But…I’m thinking here…I just can’t handle kale or seaweed today after last night. Let’s just have something lighter.”

Sauli ” Adam, really, stop being such a diva, just go get some ginger. I’ll make something good.”

  47. Ron says:

    Oh Kradamour!

I’m so happy for your Mom, you, your family!! What wonderful, wonderful news! Yes

  48. twilightmagic8 says:

Oh Adam. Pleeeease be naughty and sexy and fierce and fun and silly and gorgeous and dance and bulge and strut and prance and preen and wear fabulous outfits and boots and jewelry and hair and saaaaaang your face off.

But please, don’t say anything like that on the show!!

I have no doubt that Adam will be glorious, and appropriately entertaining.
But, if you want bulge, strut, prancing, dancy, preening, fabulous attire, shiny bling, and a glorious mane, besides singing his 48 million dollars voice off, it’s a crap shut. A wonderful one at that.

Oh my words, I made Adam sound like a magical reindeer. Dazed
It was the crap, oh dear?

You dazed me mils ! Shock

  49. dcglam says:

    Love your shopping dialogue, mils!!

  50. milwlovesadam says:

So, before real life beckons, a musing for today:

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Adam does such an exceedingly good job as host, that he gets offered his own show????

Didn’t we all talk about this a long time ago? He could do it, sing, dance, interview, skits.

Maybe he needs to do this and SNL, then TPTB will sit up and take notice.
