April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    I have only a handful of plugins activated right now – going to leave it like this for at least the next day and see what happens. Please continue to post your experiences with site speed, particularly comment posting.

    I re-activated the comments page numbering but will wait to re-activate the embedded video plug-in. I’ll just update the Youtube links so that the viewing will have to be done on Youtube and not on the ALL blog.

    I turned the video embedding plugin back on, so youtube videos will show up directly within posts again.

    I would like to keep the current configuration for at least the next 24 hours, to see if there are any periods of slow comment posting. Please post here any slowdowns you experience.

    If the site runs well for the next 24 hours, I will turn on another few plugins and repeat this process.

    I looked up the definition of colossus (person of immense size or power) and it works on two levels – wonder if that’s what the interviewer had in mind. If so, Adam seemed to be ever so slightly embarrassed – maybe I’m imagining things! Mils, where are you? I would have thought you’d have picked this up and ran with it (like fringegate – LOL)!!

    Oh, honey, trust me, I picked up on that double meaning of colossus immediately. I just didn’t want to go there, I know, I know, what has become of our Mils? so soon after fringegate.

    BTW, it’s is NOT fringe. No way, no how. IMHO. You all can enjoy yer fringe benefits, but, I have a whole ‘nother way of viewing that dance party. And fringe ain’t no part of it.
