April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    Speaking of June 16th, AL, could you put that in the Upcoming Events, pretty please? And IMO the 4/21 – 12/31/15 event has served its purpose as a placekeeper and can be deleted now but I defer to your superior judgment!

    My post to Kradamour makes no sense because, what I “improvised”, wasn’t included.

    Our treasured “sand box” isn’t working at it’s former capacity and it’s more than frustrating that it hasn’t been fixed.

    At the same time, I know that eywflyer is doing all that he can do to rectify it.

    I looked up the definition of colossus (person of immense size or power) and it works on two levels – wonder if that’s what the interviewer had in mind. If so, Adam seemed to be ever so slightly embarrassed – maybe I’m imagining things! Mils, where are you? I would have thought you’d have picked this up and ran with it (like fringegate – LOL)!!

    Still trying to figure out the source of the site slowdowns – have disabled all plugins and now will slowly add them back in. You will notice some temporary loss of features you are used to having, hopefully I can determine which plugin is causing these problems and turn all the others back on.

    Not sure if anyone will be online this time of night – if you are please let me know if posting comments seems to be any faster. The frustrating thing about this problem is that it seems to be intermittent, so comments can be posting quickly at times and very slowly at other times.

    The post problem child here. It is 5;48am EDT. Let’s see how fast. This time is usually a problem for me.

    Honestly that count for the MV is not that high IMO. Of course I compare it with other artists who have millions in a few days. Maybe it’s the strobes or people are mixing it up with the lyric video.

    Oh, people might be watching the Ellen show video too. It has over a quarter of a million views. That’s huge for a tv performance.

    Just back from my evening walk – nice full moon out there! I’m somewhat encouraged that posting right now is quick for luval, kiwi and rs. One plugin that I’m suspicious of is the one which allows comment editing after posting. I’ve adjusted the timer for how long you have to edit your comments down to 10 minutes. Hopefully most folks who would want to edit comments would do so within that time period. I previously had it set to allow comment posting for up to a year. I’m wondering if internal tracking of the remaining editing time for many thousands of comments may have contributed to the slowness.

    I have only a handful of plugins activated right now – going to leave it like this for at least the next day and see what happens. Please continue to post your experiences with site speed, particularly comment posting.

    I think that at least some of these numbers have been posted already, but I want to highlight the good results for GT on the HDD HAC and Top 40 charts so far this week. On the HAC chart, GT jumped from #50 to #36, with spins increasing from 30 to 80 (largest percentage gain of the week for any song). On the Top 40 chart (which is not complete for the week until Tuesday afternoon), GT has so far jumped from #80 to #40, with spins increasing from 19 to 179, again the largest percentage gain of the week.

    For adds, GT tied for the most added song on HAC with 12 adds. Top 40 adds mostly come in on Tuesday, but so far GT does not appear in the top 10 of most added songs there.
