April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    I heard GhostTown for the first time today here in Houston!!! I heard it around 2:50pm this afternoon on my way to the grocery store! I heard it on 95.7FM for those who live in Houston, now you know where to listen for it right now on the radio. My Daughter texted me last night to let me know that she heard it around 7:45 pm last night on 95.7FM. So I knew just where to listen!! It sounds great on the radio!! Nothing like it right now. It’s different and that is good!!!

    glambotgram – We must be on the same wavelength. I thought Charlotte Diana too before it was announced! I guess one of the favorites was Alice. Somehow I knew Kate wouldn’t pick it (George and Charlotte has a much better ring to it than George and Alice!).

    Last week he already was their #1 in the Under20 chart and also Song of the Week (Draaischijf). Now he’s entered the chart. Both 20Under as the UP40 are compiled based on the top50 of webmasters, the TOP25 lists submitted by visitors and the number of retweets. Although it’s not an ‘official chart’ I think it’s great news and it’s exposure.

    Spotify plays by the way (haven’t seen an update posted yet today): 1,280,077

    12 adds so far on HAC, he had 15 total last week. Hopefully some will be added! He is in the #1 spot for hac adds!!! Tomorrow after 3 we will be able to see the top 40 adds.

    Did anyone purchase Attitude magazine from Magazine Café and, if so, have you received it?

    I received my copy from Newsstand a few weeks ago but the MC hasn’t arrived. I emailed them this afternoon but would be curious to know if I am the only one with a tardy shipment.

    Also, I received my bill for TOH from Amazon and guess what? Somehow I ordered it from the US company!!! They are charging an import fee and there is clearly an exchange rate in play because it costs 27.99 Cdn.

    Normally I would contact them and ask WTF but it looks as though this Canadian has managed to add to Adam’s US CD count, LOL!

    Alas, I agree. I actually don’t even understand the concept of remixes. It seems really presumptious to think you can or should change someone else’s creation.
