April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    About the sound in ALN….

    @LMadaSkcor: @RabbitholeGirl @GeminiEileen U do realize it isn’t a cow, right? It’s a deep warped voice and was used on Lorde’s song too, lol @JazzRocks3

    To me, it’s like a “buzzer” sound, to get the singer out of pity-party mode into the upbeat chorus…Btw, that chorus reminds me of the all-out free-wheeling singing of I Was Born to Love You.
    I like all the songs so far, really different! Love the beat on TOH, can’t wait to hear that one.
    And, can’t wait for the KTU concert, live!!!

    I am a little obsessed with ALN.
    I too love all of the songs out so far, and am loving what I’ve heard of TOH. So catchy!

    The noise in ALN made me laugh at first but I’ve grown to love this song. I think it gives it just a touch of whimsy!

    nkd, for us: ALN is winning the views race, over 81k right now versus almost 68k for EITN! Went up 1,000 just in two listens by me!! LOTS of love from boys in comments, want it to be a single.
    I like both, but like ALN more.

    Another happy spotify premium listener here Big Smile Now it’s nice to make a four songs playlist and play that on repeat. I have almost completely turned to spotify in listening to music, I made myself many playlists (a lot of Adam of course, lol). Will buy a cd of course, but spoti is very handy!

    I spent evening listening to the new songs and watching interviews. So many great ones! And can’t help falling in love with Adam over and over again when I watch and listen to him. It feels like the first time, it’s my original high… I didn’t even remember there was Eurovision song contest going on. Sweden won I heard.

    Yeah, just heard around 5.38 pm this sunday afternoon,in my car Ghost Town on Indonesian Radio Prambors (mostly for younsters), on position 31 on the “Asia top 40″… They used Adam’s voice to introduce the song… Squeel !! LOL…yeah !!!

    May or may not be a single (monitored) but would be delicious to hear on radio. I think the lyrics and vibe really click with people – love that first verse, simple but so universal.

    Although ALN is not one of my favorites I can totally hear it on the radio today. It really is perfect for radio play. The hits on the video are getting higher and higher.

    Can you imagine if Runnin’ was on TP regular and things were done then like now with the introducing of the songs via audio youtube? This really gives fans a chance to “vote” for their favorite. WBR so far is doing the right thing.

    Hehe no matter! Song still running about 20k views ahead of EITN.
    Remember Adam said “dancing and crying,” well that’s ALN. I’m beginning to think S did a number on him. Also, in one early interview he said he’d continue dating people who “crap on his heart” cause it makes good music. And those little trips with S (Stockholm, Mexico, Amsterdam) were chasing TOH maybe. But when trust goes, verrrry hard to get back. Remember when he first said it was over, back around Florida Gay Pride, he sounded a little bitter and we were surprised at how he announced it answering a question. Maybe was unexpected for him. Oh well, water under the bridge now so whatever.

    riskylady I am so glad that you had time for relaxing evening with Adam in the middle of all that moving grooving selling thing Big Smile ! I rather have those long dates with Adam in peace and quiet than watch interviews in a hurry here and there.

    I need real live experience of Adam and I want it now! Feels like ages since Prague… I’m afraid it will take another year or so until there’s a possibility for me (unless Queen makes a surprise concert in Europe after SA) . I hope many of you will have a chance to go to some summer concerts – I am sure there will be some Adam one-offs in US!

    I see that too. But really, I don’t think Warner releases the other songs and expects the whole fandom, plus casual listeners who happen to hear the songs through blogs or Twitter to know the ins and outs of singles, radio, whether or not they can request things. If the songs are on YouTube and Spotify, I think it means they’re watching to see views and listens.

    WoW is right! Here on the west coast is the same, except it’s “Sugar” by Maroon 5 & “Love Me Like You Do.”
    When I here Nate Reuss’s song , I just cringe!
    I will never forget the moment he sang, “Somebody To Love” instead of Adam @ the iHeart Concert last September with Queen. The fact that Adam was right there is a travesty!!!
    In the worst way, all WRONG !! Gag me!

    Agree, twilight! I can’t stand either of those and that Love Me Like You Do has to be the most boring, repetitive song ever! I have a really hard time listening to Top 40 radio for that reason. Bless Spotify!

    Queen by a long shot. I actually think they stand a huge chance of doing it this year, it’s an anniversary for the Superbowl, Queen is headlining around the world, and their songs are iconic in sports.

    I agree, Mils.
    Plus the kids will have other chances…this could well be one of the last chances to get Queen.
    And as someone put into the comments, Queen songs are perfect for a Super Bowl.
    I have never seen a Super Bowl, but from what I understand about them, I think Queen makes perfect sense.
    Would love for Adam to share that honor and visibility. A kajillion people watch, I think!
