April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    I missed the beginning. Came on just after GT. Did he sing live or was there just the MV that I heard them discussing? What did I miss? Where and when can I see the whole thing?

    He hasn’t performed yet. There was some more of the interview before. I bet the station will have the video up later, but I’m sure someone will have it shortly.

    I hope they show the performance online.

    Well what a surprise! I just bought the two new songs and the clean version of Ghost Town as singles on the regular cd. They aren’t available through the deluxe CD but I don’t know if that is because I pre-ordered the deluxe or because they are only supplying it on the one version.

    I like both of the new songs but Evil in the Night is my favourite.

    TOH is probably the next single. We will see where it fits soon.

    Their strategy is unusual but it may be a way of keeping Adam simmering on iTunes, social media, shazam and spotify until the CD release and TV appearances kick in. Not a bad idea in the current climate.

    Adam Lambert wowed us with his latest single ‘Ghosttown’, a house-y pop track full of pulsing beats and unconventional production. Now Lambert is prepping for the release of his third studio album, ‘The Original High’, and has been dropping tracks left right and centre. One such song is ‘Another Lonely Night’, a rather melancholic song dressed up as a jaunty bop. The bouncing synths are sort of ridiculous, but Lambert manages to control it all with his equally ridiculous voice.     MJ has a thread about the new songs. Seems like Evil in the Night is the favorite. Bickering going on about whether this album is “the one” for Adam.
