April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    The recording may be different but that clip of TOH did nothing for me. He did sing Ghost Train in a higher key on Ellen, so I’ll wait and see.

    Not sure what to think of that snippet of TOH….I love Ghost Town and Underground, but not sold on this one yet….need to hear the whole thing.

    I have always loved falsetto. BeeGee’s some Motown groups, JT. Can’t imagine Adam doing the whole song in falsetto, though.

    I think thats the problem luval….I’ve never been a fan of the Bee Gees, JT, or anyone with those high falsetto voices. I don’t mind a bit in songs, not the whole songs. Thats why I need to wait to hear the whole thing.

    Love the TOH snippet and the beat following the falsetto passage but I am also a fan of the falsetto-Bee Gees… Except for their interpretation of the song “if I can’t have you”… Love the Yvonne Elliman version and of course the Idol – Season 8 – Adam Lambert version…

    I’m pretty sure that the falsetto is only in a portion of the song. I can’t imagine him doing the entire song that way.

    LOVED TOH snippet from the first listen!! Why the falsetto? I think it’s a smart business move – falsetto seems to be popular again. It reminds me of something that Randy Jackson once said to Adam on Idol about using everything in his arsenal on a song (falsetto, tender moments, etc.). I think Adam is being very savvy by experimenting and using his magnificent voice fully. If someone likes falsetto, there’s a song they can buy. If they prefer his lower register, there’s a song they can buy. They want something dramatic and dancey, there’s a song they can buy. They want a heartfelt ballad, there’s a song they can buy. Plus it is a lot harder to dismiss someone’s talent and ignore them if you like some song that they recorded.

    I saw that last night but now he has embellished on it. There are a lot of people thinking it is about Adam. I think Tommy is just disillusioned right now and it is about the industry in general.

    Some people are attacking him for it and they should just LEAVE IT ALONE, because they are creating more drama. IDK

    I loved the new snippet and cant wait to hear it full. The album is going to be so amazing. Three songs, three different styles…If it goes on like that it will be mind blowing.

    I need the weekend to catch up with everything. Its wow amazing so much to see read etc.

    On that note… Today my Notion Mag finally arrived Grin the pics are so fantastic.

    Regarding Tommys instagram…He posted a short message about it on Facebook. Ppl need to calm down. Not everything Tommy did, does or will do has something to do with Adam. It never even crossed my mind that it had to do with Adam or TOH.

    And was wondering if Adams “Ellen” Band is really his new Band in general…for me it doesnt look like the four are with him in New York.. Whatever. I sense new drama on the horizon. Glad, I cleancleaned up my twitter feed and wont see any of it…

    Cait1602, I recognized two band members from Ellen at The Box, both guitarists, from the videos. I assume the full band from Ellen will play at KTuphoria May 31.
    The snippet Adam sang at the radio station, “I wanna feel the rush like the first time” wasn’t falsetto. We may find out in around 10 days how the whole song sounds.

    Mmkay, I suppose that was too vague… Promoting yourself is one thing! I live in a city where it’s just excessive. For example; 1000 pointless hashtags, and blatantly lying about your status, who you are and what you do. Too many people here fancy themselves artists or producers just because they own a computer and recording gear.
    So to be clear, promoting yourself or whatever is fine. When it’s to the point where people are just being annoying, sleazy and shameless, is what really chaps my ass. There is just such a lack of class, integrity and tact by people aspiring in entertainment these days.
    I can see how that last post could confuse people, and that it would seem like a huge contradiction, especially if you don’t live in LA. But, if you do… I’m sure you feel my pain haha.
    Just wanted to clear that up, since it seemed like not everyone got my frustration haha smile emoticon
    I’m half awake, so I hope that made sense!

    I don’t think it is about Adam. The opposite! He was sheltered and spoiled when he was working with Adam who was generous, kind, honest, and NEVER took advantage of people he was working with. I think that TJ is seeing the reality of the rest of LA and the music business right now.

    I really love Adam’s house. Classic post-war, tasteful, not conspicuous. So many celebrities’ houses look like movie sets – this one looks like a really nice place to come home to.

    The Box is am amazing smallish to mid size venue, I wonder if it was “closed” and a private night for music industry types to preview the music and get ready for promo.

    If the Fallon rumor is true, I’ll need smelling salts to revive me. OMG. I can just see him either lip syncing or playing the “What’s in my box?” game. That could be hilarious.

    Please please please make it so. Fallon is the show to watch, Fallon is the show for all ages.
