April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    AEMS teachers’ parody video gets tweet from Adam Lambert

    Amite Elementary teachers who had fun creating an “end of school” farewell video to their students have had an extraordinary response to the music video from the artist himself!

    Teacher Lisa Gros wrote ActionNews17.com over the weekend to share the story:

    “Teachers at Amite Elementary Magnet school wanted to create a fun farewell video for our students. Originally our intent was to release it on the last day of the school. We upload each of our parodies on SchoolTube for students to view. Then we upload them on YouTube for fun. After loading on YouTube, I like to tweet the original artist to show them what we have done with their music. Usually NOTHING happens. Friday, I finished the farewell video. My husband has created the track for the song and wanted to hear how the finished product worked out. So before I left, I uploaded it to YouTube. I came home to show him and decided to tweet Adam Lambert. Nothing had come of this before, but why not….

    “Well it exploded! I started getting messages on the YouTube video that Twitter loved our video. I went to Twitter and sure enough the video was being widely discussed. The video has been viewed over 3000 times in two days. We have counted 54 countries that the video has been viewed in. Then, today, Adam Lambert’s publicist tweeted me saying “we” have seen the video and think it is ‘hilarious’.”
