April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    OMG Clap Clap Clap Jump Jump Jump What a thing to wake up to. a surprise new song. Had to buy it in order to hear it. What a hardship ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL . It is absolutely gorgeous. Can’t wait for more goodies. And I love all the interviews, especially the filmed ones.

    wow…what a surprise…wasn’t expecting a new song today….I love it, only listened twice so far, but already love it….

    Love that shout out from Mile about one of his best friends..

    Loved that interview with JOJO too…how refreshing to listen to a DJ that actually listens to his guest and doesn’t try and talk over him all the time, and asks great questions instead of stupid ones..

    Interesting new song… at least it sounds modern…

    it reminds me of Simon Cowell’s remark at Adam’s audition in which he felt that Adam’s singing style is NOT current. ( they usually cut out this sentence when showing Adam’s audition)…

    So good to see that Adam can proof Simon wrong with these 2 songs from TOH… (I do prefer Ghost Town though)…

    I don’t know what is happening on iTunes US but when I go into iTunes Canada, Underground shows as pre-ordered and therefore not purchase-able.

    Is this because the offer was rescinded or because you can’t order the single if you bought the CD.

    When I go to US itunes, underground is grayed out. It will not let me buy it!! Does anyone know why? The link on the previous page does not allow me to buy unless I buy the album, which I already bought when it was 1st available. Help, anyone have any suggestions?

    TLKCand leoblueeys, when I went to the TOH album on iTunes I couldn’t buy the new song, but when I typed in the name of the song I got to a page where I could buy it, and I did. What I don’t know is what will happen when it comes time to buy the whole album that I have preordered. Will it take off the price I already paid for the singles, like happened with the other albums, or will I have to pay full price?

    I bought “Underground” yesterday but I just listened and watched a video of it on Vimeo!!

    Someone isn’t doing Adam any favors by uploading it there because it’s WRONG! It shouldn’t be there and should be removed. Mad

    I have listened to it on Vemio, but I would never download it, you are right Ron, it is wrong. I will listen to it on Vemio, but will just wait until it is hopefully a single to buy it on itunes.

    Hi leoblueeys!

    This “fan” isn’t thinking. She shouldn’t have done it in the first place but she had the option to uncheck the box for “downloading” while uploading it to make that feature unavailable but she left it in place. Disabling that still wouldn’t make it right but it would make it better … a little.

    Hi ron! Aw. I wish I could come on Sunday. I am sure it will be lovely. Please give everyone hugs for me. I was away three times this winter (which was hard on my father) for short trips of a week or so. As of now I don’t have plans for a NA trip. We have to see when Adam starts touring with his new show. One thing is for sure. As always, when I get to the other side of the pond, I will get to Toronto.     I typed in “Adam Lambert Underground” and got to a page where I could buy it. I had already ordered TOH too, so don’t know what will happen. Because he did say they would release a couple more songs after GT before album drop, so we can expect one more, maybe month end.

    It’s happening here in the Netherlands. Ghost Town just got announced as the Alarmschijf at our biggest radio station 538. That will mean it will be played a lot this week and more people will get to know it.

    I’m crying so happy!

    Love Underground by the way. His low range and also the chorus which reminds me a bit of Justin Timberlake. It’s going to be one hell of a summer!

    The fan who downloaded it on vimeo shouldn’t have done it but this is entirely the fault of Adam’s management and iTunes, imho. Let’s hope they fix it before the end of the day.

    Thanks luval! I missed that. After one listen: Underground reminds me of Michael Jackson and Bruno but Adam’s voice sounds very processed. It is the kind of song that grows on you after a few plays.

    Funnily enough, the song right after Underground is a Ghost Town remix and it made me realize that I really love that song so much.

    It’s very “breathy”. Only listened once. Will have to listen a few times. That lower register really disguises the voice that I am used to.

    I’ve listened to a lot of his pre-Idol work so sound of the lower range was not something had not heard before – his voice has a unique timbre that stands out for me –

    I was able to buy Underground on itunes. I searched in the store for Adam Lambert Underground. It gave me 2 choices. One was greyed out the other said Underground deluxe. (I think it’s because I preordered the deluxe). When the album comes out I’m sure I will then have to “complete the album”.
