April was an exciting month, to say the least – news of sold-out Rock-in-Rio concert – great articles in Attitude and Notion magazines – many interviews – Ghost Town single and video release – and lots of angsting over Shazam/Spotify/iTunes/YT and how best to promote Adam, along with the “whistle” question – whodunit? This month may see Adam performing GT live on TV and moving his way up the radio charts. Should be a busy time before the album release on June 16!

    Whilst I have been enjoying watching these Adam radio interviews, the ones actually recorded in the studios which are aired are great…..I still don’t understand how speaking in front of 20 people at a time is good promotion, seems a waste of time and effort to me, who gets to see these, just fans on youtube?.

    I think those are recorded and posted on radio websites. Some of them appear to be sit down’s with fans after the on air interview.

    I may be wrong….but audiences are limited. IMHO.

    I just don’t think all this radio promo has ever worked for Adam in the past.

    The UK may be different.

    I would love to see some RS love in print media. And to see his face on night-time TV here is the states.

    I think that these little meet and greets are actually for the benefit of the stations. Adam gives them a reason for a contest and that encourages listeners for the station,not for Adam necessarily, but it is the price he pays to be played.

    In the case of Adam, not sure how well this actually plays out for the station, given that most of the attendees at the greet session are likely not the station target audience.

    luval to avoid the buffering… press the pause button on that website and come and play for a while in the ALL-sandbox… and after that go back to the video and play it…

    All these radio interviews…
    1.Contest: Agree with Kradamour because “contest” was the first thing I had in mind..
    2.Goodwill: to be created so that the album will be promoted once it is out. even though I have similar feelings like milwlovesadam about this.
    3.Word of Mouth or Word of Mouse for Glamberts: If I am not a Glambert, I would not be chasing after those interviews on youtube… but those interviews are very exciting and motivating for me to promote Adam in the future when his album comes out…

    Read a comment on MJ blog that Adam was hanging out with the top5 from American Idol season 14 ?? Really ?

    In the past, Adam said that he prefers to concentrate on his music career before he starts “merchandizing himself”…
