Alas, Adam’s time on Glee is over (for this year) but he did find other things to keep himself (and his band) busy in April: a few well-paying private gigs. May (the month not the guitarist) won’t be a month for that though since it is getting to be crunch time and rehearsals begin for the Queen and Adam Lambert Summer Tour 2014. Only a few weeks away now!

    Watched the Idol Finale – Kept hoping for any mention of Adam. Guess the closest was Caleb singing WWRY. When Demi performed, I was wishing Adam would come on stage for a duet. Now that I’m thinking about it, it would have been a cool Glee tie-in to have One Three Hill perform. Oh well – there’s always next year! If TPTB don’t highly tout the AL success story next season, I’ll think they are even denser than I thought!

    Won’t be able to watch the finale tonight…off to see Tapdogs. But very disappointed Caleb won, for myself and for Idol….I think they needed Jena to win. Young, attractive, pop, marketable, current, good stage presence…..against Caleb who is none of those things.

    So I take it Adam wasn’t even in the audience….so what was that Idol photo, saying not his only appearance this year???

    TLKC, I left you a message at QOL. I was able to reset my password and log into ALL after all, I just realized that I had seen you and “Sparkle” previously at this website. I posted here only a couple of times. I love how positive everyone is here compared to the grouches over there. I was able to watch only the first hour of the AI finale last night. Thought Caleb’s collaboration with KISS was disappointing compared to Adam’s fabulous one 5 years ago. Missed Jena’s performance. It will be interesting to see what Caleb is able to do in the future since Adam had to turn to pop rather than rock to satisfy the current status of the music industry, even though he has rocked those songs when performing live. We all know there is no one out there right now to compare to Adam and it is going to be proven even more during this magnificent QAL tour! See you in Chicago! Cool

    I wish they could have incorporated a shot of Tim clasping hands with both Adam and Nile at some point in the video but I’m glad to see this song making progress as a single. Wonder when it will make it to the U.S. and Canada!

    Yeah, Avicii does not put the singers from his music in his videos. Almost doesn’t acknowledge them in any way. That’s just the way he operates. He’s the star.

    I thought the video was boring for a live action video. Must not have cost a nickel.

    Sure hope LMD is released as a single in the US, love the joyfulness of that song!

    Watched quite a bit of AI this year, but it’s the first time I can remember Adam not sending out encouragement or tweets about the contestants. I know he mentored near the beginning of the live rounds, but maybe he is just so friggin’ busy he couldn’t keep up.

    Hi CNB! Can’t believe, out of all the posters here at ALL you remember me!
    HKfan – I agree with you for the most part about Caleb, although he does have good stage presence and is fairly young and attractive. If Jena had been from the South or Caleb’s comments about his fans had gotten more play, it might have been a different story. I agree that Idol needed Jena to win. She and Caleb were tied after the first two rounds Tuesday and Jena was better on “her” single than Caleb was on his. The judges could have tried to sway some voters based on Jena winning the night. So Jena should have won but being runner-up isn’t so bad – just ask AML!
