Alas, Adam’s time on Glee is over (for this year) but he did find other things to keep himself (and his band) busy in April: a few well-paying private gigs. May (the month not the guitarist) won’t be a month for that though since it is getting to be crunch time and rehearsals begin for the Queen and Adam Lambert Summer Tour 2014. Only a few weeks away now!

    Congrats kiwi! And the concerts keep a comin’.

    BTW, it’s interesting that the August hiaitus is still there. Maybe Adam has some radio promo to do for a new single? CD appears to be on schedule.

    I was out last night and can’t even be bothered to watch Idol (which I taped). I heard that Caleb nailed the note that Danny missed, though. Tuning in tonight but can’t say I care who wins. Neither of the Top 2 are lighting fires.

    Is there a fast way of finding all the Queen stuff on here?

    Fastest way is to use the “Search” box at the top right of the menu. Enter “Queen”, click on the magnifying glass or press “Enter” and then the threads which have “Queen” in their title and mentioned in other threads will be shown.

    Another way is to use the Archives at bottom right of the menu. Select the month/year that you believe the concert to have taken place and the links to the threads for that month will be shown. Just scroll through to find the one you are looking for.
    You can do that too by using the pull-down menu “Trespassing Era” at the top and pick the month/year.

    Hope that helps!

    I believe that is Houston that Toby had referred to during the interview. They were talking about him being an Android guy vs Apple.
    He does have a similar tone to Adam.

    Thanks mmm222 and missdfyed for your good thoughts about my good fortune in getting to MSG. I think all the shows are going to be fantastic but I just feel that since it holds great memories for Brian and Adam has never done anything this big in such an iconic place…that MSG will be unbelievable! I feel the magic and energy already. And happy to hear I’ll be seeing some dear friends “nearby” (and of course at a pre-show dinner somewhere).

    Read that Rickey Minor article, asif – and he’s always mentioned Adam’s work ethic and drive (always slightly disappointed, though, when peeps pick MW instead of ACIGC as his best).

    “Adam would always email me. I would open up my computer and there were three or four emails from Adam between the time I left rehearsal and the time I got home. He was so wanting to communicate. Now, they all had my email and they all used it. But he used it. So he had ideas, and that made me come with more ideas. So if he had one idea, I would come with three, just to push him.”

    I think that MSG (why do I suddenly want to order Chinese food?!) is one of the ultimate goals of many artists who hope one day to be able to perform there as well as Carnegie Hall and the MET.

    Considering the emotional attachment Brian has with that venue and Adam appearing there that night for his FIRST (of many) time(s) … I’m SO happy for all of you who will be there!

    Believe it or not, I appeared at Madison Square Garden. I was 9 years old and sitting in the audience for the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus but … I appeared there.

    Yes, it is interesting that Brian May is re-tweeting about Vintage Trouble. Hmmmmmm.

    -Vintage Trouble had a hugely successful tour in the UK a couple of years ago. Mayhaps he heard of them then.
