Alas, Adam’s time on Glee is over (for this year) but he did find other things to keep himself (and his band) busy in April: a few well-paying private gigs. May (the month not the guitarist) won’t be a month for that though since it is getting to be crunch time and rehearsals begin for the Queen and Adam Lambert Summer Tour 2014. Only a few weeks away now!

    I was away for most of April with no internet access. I spent most of that time in southern Africa working on my wildlife photography skills in preparation for taking photos at the Queenbert concerts(!). I’ve been lurking and catching up since I got back. Adamized tells me that the main thing I missed in April was Adam’s green hair. That’s just as well! The iHeart hair and look is my all time favorite.

    jlurks– I’m really happy to hear your good news! I’m looking forward to seeing you again in Chicago. I’m also excited about seeing so many of the rest of you at the concerts this summer. It’s going to be so much fun!

We only saw glimpses of Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry offering advice and sizing up the hopefuls, but I feel like that would make for really interesting television, showing us more of what happens behind the curtain.”

    “Yeah, I liked the workshop too. It was a new thing. It gave the kids some preparation for what’s to come. Adam and Chris were super devoted – I’m very impressed with these guys. They showed up, they were there for two days — even though it was just a small segment that got shown — and they did a lot of things off camera that you never got to see.”

    Gawd – wouldn’t we love to see more of those mentoring sessions –

    Maybe if we all really wish hard in our dreams, that footage will be released. Queen and Adam HAVE to perform in the finale for that full circle moment – wish for that too!

    Yeah, it does, ultimathule. The kinda vogue one.

    Not sure if I’m in love with the Sauli pics and I think I know why. It’s the underwear. Just doesn’t fit the “intent” of the pics whatever that is. He should not be wearing anything!     Sauli pics are weird to me, too. They remind me of Goldfinger.

    I am also hoping that Q+A will be performing on the AI finale, sparkle. It would help to know when the special iHeart Radio concert is. If it is at least 5 days before the tour starts (say, June 14th), then it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that rehearsals would start around May 21st – the day of the Idol finale. Rehearsals will probably be stateside, so there you go.

    That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

    Just watched the latest Glee episode that Chris C. wrote. I thought it was terrific! He sang “Memories” from Cats and it was beautiful. Glee is soooo much better in New York. Am going to buy this episode.

    Love Adam’s hair in the Jonny Cota vids. It still amazes me the number of people Adam has in his “web” of friends and connections. Wonder if anyone has ever done something like a family tree or graph of this.
