Alas, Adam’s time on Glee is over (for this year) but he did find other things to keep himself (and his band) busy in April: a few well-paying private gigs. May (the month not the guitarist) won’t be a month for that though since it is getting to be crunch time and rehearsals begin for the Queen and Adam Lambert Summer Tour 2014. Only a few weeks away now!

    lol – just pullin’ your chain, Ron – actually, when I landed in Alaska in the summer, it was so damn hot I couldn’t believe it – here I expected igloos and sled dogs and instead got heat and mosquitoes.

    Also thanks, thanks, thanks ulti, loval et al for the amazing pics and videos from the past few years. I just find it incredible how Adam has gone from this beautiful creature? (can I say that, because he’s so ineffable, so unique) that immediately resonated in some some deep place in our collective consciousness, to an extraordinarily handsome man, who is the same, but not the same somehow. I miss the old, but treasure the new Adam, maybe even more.

    That video of Adam at the CBC in Toronto was taken the same day that I met him. We literally did freeze our tukkas off for 6 hours in the cold waiting for him at MTV; all because we had “heard a rumour”, which turned out to be true. Only three of us were there. Got to talk to him for 5 minutes. He wouldn’t stop when he went in but the VJ told him how long we had been there and he made a point of stopping to chat when he came out

    He told us to go and get some hot soup. We did, and guess what was playing in the restaurant? WWFM!!!! I kid you not.

    Just popping in, internet access has been really bad, ended up paying for an hour at the hotel….just had to share this little Adam moment I had to day though. We went to Universal studios today, and went into the Monster Rock show. A live show with Dracula, Frankenstein, werewolf etc singing…each of the monsters had a solo song,with the others as back up and the phantom of the opera sang FYE…..I was so excited when I heard the first bars of the music, I jumped up and down on my seatBig Smile
    It was the best part of the day!!
