After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

I don’t know when the HDD update typically posts. I seem to remember from the early days of FYE that it would always be up by mid afternoon Eastern time when I would wake up after working a night shift. So it could post anytime in the next 4 hours pretty much…sigh…

And. I could not believe it. An OLD OLD OLD picture up top. Very purple. Adam in the Voodoo hat, plumage furry coat and full on stage makeup.
WHY??? He is trying to get past that. He has taken a gazillion photos since then. Glitter is “dead” to him now.

I HATE that so many interviews show an older picture…those things are almost two years old, for heaven’s sake.
But I am thinking that the writer just does a google image search for Adam Lambert and picks one that stands out – if he/she doesn’t know much about Adam, the badness of the choice won’t be obvious. Most performers don’t make such a 180 switch in such a short time frame.

Wow. I can’t stop staring at my paper. The article is so big. Hardly anybody gets such a big column. It is literally half the page, full length from top to bottom.
Kradamour, you are right. Not very many people change so much in such a short time span. Of course, we know that his look can change on a whim!
I still would have preferred to have seen that gorgeous pic of him in the blue suit. It is so chiseled and masculine, so much more appealing to the masses than his OTT Glammed up look. I loved it, but, it is more controversial, IMHO.
OOF! It is the same thing. I have gotten to that page before and it says that my username, email, or password is incorrect. So I had gone and changed my password and it is still incorrect!
I am a bit disappointed in some fans this morning. Cuckoo Girl made a crack about Kris Allen last night and Insomniac19 got an interview with Adam this morning in which she took a crack at the tweenies waiting for The Wanted.
For some reason an unfortunate percentage of us can’t be happy with Adam up unless someone else is being put down.
I loved Cuckoo girl but I’m just wishing we would remember that other singer’s fans might buy Adam’s cd if they have positive feelings about him.

You know, I actually touched his face like that when we met him in Toronto and only found out how he felt about that stuff afterwards. He said Awwwwwwwww! when I did it – but I reached out slowly and while I was telling him how much he meant to me. (Plus it was freezing cold and he knew we had waited 6 hours and there were only 3 of us.)
It can come across as threatening and I would die before I’d ever do anything like that to anyone I didn’t know well again.

It does indicate email address OR username (and password). I’d try any combination of the above until, hopefully, you get through. You’re obviously registered. You’re able to sign in and post here! Something to consider, try to log in using a different browser. When I messed up and wasn’t able to see my avatar on Firefox and everyone else could, I WAS able to see it and everyone else’s avatars on IE.
And I have no idea why! When I recently suggested to mils that she create a new profile on Firefox as I did, it cleared up everything for me! Again, I don’t know why. There’s no direct answer/solution for this. It’s tricky. I share your frustration.

RE: the article – I don’t think Naked Love is trashy. I think it’s a metaphor for shedding your armour. It’s a poppy song but the sentiment is the same as Michel Tremblay’s Hosanna, which used nakedness as a way of showing complete honesty between two men in a gay couple.
It premiered in 1972 in Toronto and the police showed up for the end of the performance every night because they didn’t get the metaphor either. One of the most powerful plays I’ve ever seen.
I’m going to guess that Adam hits Montreal right after Toronto so May 30-31st probably.
OK I just watched The Beiber’s performance on Billboard Awards, with the sound off of course (because I cant stand that song and his voice?) Seriously a yellow T-Shirt, Neon lights, yellow on the background people, and FOG? Really? Didnt we see that on “Thursday” with someone that could sing? And all you can see is him grabbing himself, the whole song, not that there is anything to grab

OK, this is very strange. I went to another browser (I usualy use IE, by the way) and logged into ALL with no problem. Then the same thing happened when I tried to get into WordPress. Neither my user name or my email worked. So I decided to try and set up a new account using my name and password from here, and it said that user names have to be at least four letters long! So how is it that I have a two-letter user name if I have a WordPress account? Anyway, I give up.
I don’t want to take up any more space here. I have hogged this blog enough this afternoon.

ron, in the place for my user name, rs appears faintly, and when I log in, I use rs, two letters. There isn’t a different name there
rs…gravatar doesn’t recognize my user name from here either, so I signed up from the top bar pull down menu, just make sure the email adress is the same as used here and make an account. It doesn’t matter what the user name is. Forget that sign in box on the bottom left of the page.
Yes, my username is ghosted (appears faintly) because it can’t be changed.
It’s the email address below that’s important and the one you must use on gravatar.
Maybe more important, if your password is the problem and not being recognized, the Profile page is where you can change it.
If you go ahead with that, if you make any changes and SAVE them, I’d close your browser and go an extra step and then shutdown and reboot your computer.
I seem to remember that when we were still on the Site That Shall Not Be Named before the creation of ALL, peeps were MUCH less computer savvy! I have loved all the good computer advice that we are able to share now because of Adam. He does seem to make us be our best selves!

When that other site had her big changeover many moons ago, I lost my sign in. I emailed her, and she told me to sign in using wordpress. Shortly after that she made a specific sign in for wordpress. There must have been many in my boat.
I am still a complete tech loser. I have to wait until son #2 is finished with school this year to even ask him to help me with changing my avatar. I don’t even know how to upload a picture of my newspaper article today.

Nearly 500 registered members, created in 2012 … sounds fairly new to me.
Beautifully presented, nicely laid out.
So I opened a new WordPress account with the email and password I use here and then I tried to make a gravatar. I made one with the picture I wanted to use earlier with no problem. This time I found the picture, opened it to select it, and the description from my computer appeared, like it was supposed to in he box, but when I pressed “next” it disappeared. I thought it might be because the same pic was being used for another mane (my other account) so I erased the gravatar from that account, but it still didn’t work, even when I altered the pic a bit and changed its name. Then I tried putting in another pic and it didn’t work either. This is getting very frustrating
