After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

I read on another blog that lots of yellow and black was showing up at the shows as well as yellow glo sticks. I got a tweet about yellow and black shoes at Amazon.com. I can’t bring the picture over but they are Fahrenheit women’s Laurissa wedge Sandals. I’m sure these will be seen a few shows soon, not on me, but someone younger and crazy enough to wear heels that high. Still haven’t decided whether to try for tickets to the Des Moines show. It’s a long way off yet.
I think the retail, selling himself that was referred to here is the last 2 shows he has asked if people have bought the album yet, and even went so far today to say.
“Even if you think you don’t like me, go check it out, I guarantee it will make you shake you ass.” (paraphrasing here) ETA that’s not what he said except for the first part.
That made me feel bad for him.
Nothing wrong with him pimping his CD, it is just different for him.
Re pimping his CD…peeps, that is what these shows are all about. It’s a publicity “tour”, and he is only doing it because there is…um…a CD to sell. Many of the peeps in the audience who are not already fans likely don’t even know that there is a CD out there, or what its name is.
So I am cool with some marketing. That’s what he is there for.

I’m not sure if I’ve totally got the gist of what happened with this fan. I tried watching that bit of the ustream vid, heard him asking her to come up on the stage with some rather choice words, must admit I winced a little bit given how many kids were in the meet and greet photos… couldn’t really see what she did or Adam did after that, and couldn’t stand to watch any more of the poor picture or sound quality.
Hope some better videos turn up soon.

Hi y’all. Went to Target music section today looking for Trespassing. At first I couldn’t find it at all, even under new music. Then I noticed there were so many Glee cds all over the top shelf of New Music, so I started looking behind those cds and sure enough, some homophobic #$@%^!& had covered all of Adam’s cds with Glee cds. There were 5 regular and 5 deluxe, so I uncovered them and put most of the Glee cds on the shelf below and gave the Trespassing cds a large, very visible area on the top shelf. I’ll have to go back in a couple days to check that my nice work wasn’t undone. Good deed for the day.
eta: Of course I bought one of the deluxe ones….my..uh…5th one and gave it away as a gift at a family lunch I went to afterwards.

Looks like Adam picked her up when she was hugging him, she didn’t just jump on him.

I think that the problem is that I just registered for wordpress for a different purpose (to see a cousin’s wedding album) and I used a different email address. I had written an email last week to eywflyer asking if in order to sign up here we had already signed into WordPress, because when I tried to sign in, it said that there was no such user by my name or email address. I didn’t get an answer, but I know how busy you are.
So now I have this beautiful photo I took of the Love sculpture and I don’t know how to get it here. What do I do? Help, Please….
I posted on the concert thread Juneau’s recap of the Kiss concert that she attended. I know, I don’t like her either, especially since she is still supporting Monte, but she talks about the sound issues. It is no wonder that Adam was so careful to check the sound before last night’s performance began.
The livestream last night was terrible though I much appreciate what that girl did for us. Looking forward to proper videos. Very happy that the TALC group was there. I haven’t seen Xena’s blog yet but she always contributes something interestingly idiosyncratic to the mix of Adam reviews.
Today’s a holiday in Canada, I am at my computer clicking obsessively on the HDD sales button waiting for building chart results. Supposed to start at 7:30 a.m.
They are selling tickets to the Freshtival for a limited time GA for $30. Of course they do this after it is too late to cancel the hotel room and just get tickets.

I am in agreement on that. Last night at the Billboard awards Taylor Swift mentioned radio concerts as if they were the worst sort of thing. I just want to see Adam happy and fresh and I want him to feel good.
BTW – HDD is 7:30 a.m. Pacific time. I’ve been obsessively refreshing for nothing. Once 54% sales are in, I’m going to apply an algrorithm to Adele’s sales to project her total. Gonna be conservative with Adam’s projection and see how safe he is. Hope it’s obvious from the word go that he’s safe

I just googled that Jenksboardwalk event. It’s at the Jersey Shore Friday 5/25 between 6am and 10am. Adam will be taking a disco nap after that.
It’s in Point Pleasant NJ which is 3hrs from Wilkes Barre.

ron, It is totally screwed up. When I tried to get a gravatar last week, using this link, it didn’t recognize me and said that I didn’t have a WordPress account, so I left it. Today, in order to get my cousin’s wedding album I had to create a wordPress acount, but I used my regular email account, not the one reserved for my Adam Lambert stuff. It also has a different user name. Now I am signed in using that name, even when I go from this site. I added this email, too. I didn’t see a place to sign out of WordPress. The question is, what do I do after I have already made my gravatar? How do I get it here? Do I have to sign out and then sign in again? I am afraid that I won’t be able to get back in using rs.
If I change my WordPress username to rs will it work. I see a place for changing the username

I watched the whole of Jesha’s video – he was terrific and that fan was hilarious. She could dance, too. She was very cute in her behaviour and she asked him what he was going to play. Great lead-in.
I hope Adam picks out a girl like that in all the radio concerts going forward. It was funny and the crowd enjoyed it.

Wish I could sit down at your PC and help you work through this! You see, I did the same thing … I used the same email address BUT I registered here using a different username from the one I used when I first signed-up on MJ’s.
This however didn’t prevent me from putting an avatar in place. Problem was, I couldn’t see it or anyone else’s avatar.

You can’t change the username nor can you delete your original account and start over. Many people have complained about this on the WP forums. Again, the username and the email address you used when you originally registered with WordPress must match when you register on other WP sites.
I wish I knew what % Adam did on the back-end reporting for FYE. I know it was low because he wasn’t in Walmart and Walmart is generally among the last reporting.
The thing we don’t know is if Walmart and B&N will report their pre-sales early (as in report twice.) Probably not – too messy.
ron, what is so weird is that WordPress said that they had no accound for me either under rs or under my email address. How could that be, since I signed up here? And how could I have created a new WordPress account today if I already had one from here? But it seems logical that someone could have two accounts if they use different email addresses and different user names. Are you sure these sales figures are going to appear at, or shortly after, 10:30am eastern time?
Last Thursday, for the “One Day Sales” that were supposed to be posted around noon our time, I ended up refreshing the page every few minutes for the next 2 and 1/2 hours (!) until the info was finally available.
The site says 7:30 Pacific time. Thing is, the closer the cd sales are the longer it will take.
I was planning on cycling today so I may have to leave by 1:00 p.m. My trainer is going to play the Trespassing cd at the gym and I promised her I would do a real sweaty workout today and I want to keep her happy!
