After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

Sorry to hear about Robin Gibb. The BeeGees were one of my favorite groups although I did trade a “To Love Somebody” 45 for a 3 Dog Night “Mama Told Me Not to Come.” Thought he was doing better.

I don’t know if you guys heard, at the beginning of the Ustream, they announced him and he didn’t come out. He made Brian check all the sound, drums guitars, girls and tweak it before he would come on stage. Now his musical director is running the festivals sound lol. Control Freak, gotta love him.

I spotted a husband and wife from NY who I met in Hawaii. The wife and I were first and second in line for my M&G. We had a lot of time to chat, and she, by coincidence was sitting behind me at the show too.

Those are the most gorgeous meet and greet pics I have ever seen. Damn that boy is fine. Not a single “meet and greet photo” face in the bunch, and he looks so happy with the kids, especially, there is just a little something extra in his expression. Love the hair with silver tips!

At first (at the other shows) I was a bit unnerved about him pimping his album but then I thought why the hell not? It’s about time!

I’ve been trying to catch up as I was dragged out to dinner just before dinner was being served here!
A fan got on stage at Fantasy Springs and was dancing with him until they took her away! That was during DTRH I think.
That’s right, nkd…forgot about that!!!
luval, yes I do remember that! Adam had no idea what to make of it…and especially to be considered hot in his own high school where previously he wasn’t cool…it must have been a very surreal moment, and he handled it well even then, even giving her props so she wouldn’t be embarrassed.
Looking forward to seeing this evening’s event, assuming someone has it isolated on tape! Adam always seems to want to be closer to his audience – so many concerts, he comes to the edge of the stage, has quite a few times allowed peeps in the front to touch him/rub his leg, he has reached down to take hands…and of course the infamous tongue diving.
And in Ste Agathe he came and sat on the edge of the stage and all of his body language just reached toward us when he first sat down and asked if we had missed him…it was such a bizarre-ly intimate moment in a crowd of thousands! Had we missed him? Ha! and it was so obvious that he had missed us, too, after no performances for months.
Lately he has been talking more specifically about the concept of reaching people and communicating through his music; that interviews can give the facts about him but the music really reveals who he is to us.
Loved the NPR piece tonight, btw, the interviewer really “got” him, I thought.
I’ve been away all weekend and still trying to catch up.
