After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

Am almost finished listening to the whole cd. Although Kickin’ In is my least favorite I do like the cd version much better than those sound clouds, etc.

After watching the video from the MLB Fan Cave, it seems that Kickin In is a whole lotta fun for Adam to perform. I can see this song doing well live.

The sound in those iHeart videos is very very good. God, his voice is like butter in Chokehold and Broken English, soooooo smooooth and sexy.

I am just floored by this whole cd. Every single damn song (almost every LOL…but I’m gonna cave, I know)…has something so special about it. And like everyone says..the placement is just perfect. BTIKM is so beautiful!! Nirvana just makes me think of sitting on top of a mountain overlooking the ocean, with a beautiful breeze…just living and breathing this short life we have…..
Ultimathule…heard that too but how could he have sung 2 hrs ago? haha IMO he was tired!!! He mentioned in the videos from last night that he had been up since 3:45am (for GMA) so I really think he was just “spent”. Probably took a disco nap this afternoon & will sleep on the plane.
I want to preface my comment with this. I love Adam Lambert. I go to his concerts, buy anything to do with Adam, support his charities, and I just returned from buying 6 Trespassing Delux CDs. 3 from Target and 3 from Best Buy. I intend to buy 6 more from different stores today. Does anyone think the base is too strong and drowns out his voice? In my car I turn the base down entirely to enjoy it more.I like the CD very much. Maybe I am just spoiled, because it was such a great experience, and I didn’t notice the bass, when I saw Adam live at Jimmy Kimmel.

glitterpatti Lots of production on this CD I agree, but it sounds better on my home stereo. My kids laugh at me cause I always turn down the bass in my car and they say music sounds “whack” without driving bass. That being said I seem to really enjoy the bass rhythms on this CD. I hope we will get the upfront voice more on the live performances.
What I was reading on twitter this morning sounded like he just needed to rest his voice as much as possible, I think as much for talking as singing today. He did a lot of both yesterday. He was supposed to do something on Larry Flick and they rescheduled for possibly next week.

ITA, and someone (maybe even me, I can’t remember lol) posted the same thing above a few pages ago). Remember PYU? Didn’t Adam say that he wouldn’t sing that one live because it would give his voice too much of a beating? If he’s going to do another tour like the first one, with a billion dates, he needs to pace himself.

dungeonclassroom all day, trying to catch up…can’t wait to watch/hear the heart radio session!My box sex came today, it is amazing – the box itself is wonderful quality – I have kept the shipping box to store it in to keep the surface glossy and unscratched. Also the 3 B&N deluxe CDs came today, not listening until I can go into my room, close the door, and put on headphones and listen straight through. This is taking superhuman strength, peeps, the CD is IN MY HANDS and I am still waiting…only another couple of hours and it will be worth it!
And luval, I am going to find an independent record store here somewhere and order one if they don’t have it. First I have to find the store!
Ron, just want to say again how delighted I am that you will have your moment with Adam under such wonderful circumstances in your own home town. Karma. And adamized is correct, Adam will remember you and in the best possible way and you will totally rock whatever you wear. I only wish that I could be there to see the two of you together!
The SPGs…at this point, honestly they seem just superfluous. When Adam was starting out, it was probably reassuring to see such faithful fans. But now? When it is obvious that his fandom is going to expand exponentially? No need for the same tired 29 year old plus faces. Get out of the way and make room for the new fans.
On the other hand, if they can afford it and have nothing better to do with their lives…(shrug)…whatever. But I do wonder about their motivation.
Gonna go stay busy while I wait to go into seclusion with Trespassing…I am so hoping that I like it as much as you guys do! and the reviewers! Part of me wants to just keep it on the horizon, just in case I won’t like it….but no, I’m gonna listen. Tonight!

I just opened the vinyl and there are two more pictures on the inside flaps. There are two records and when you pull each one out there is another picture. So besides the beautiful album cover the box has 10 pictures, all equally beautiful. I need to quit raving about this, but it just made my day. I’m taking it to work tomorrow, kind of like show and tell time. Ron and others getting their first M&G try to remain calm and focused and enjoy yourself. My two M&G were something I will always cherish. If I have a chance at another would I go for it, you bet.
I really don’t think MJ should have posted that…She should stay out of it and should be neutral…She says she is, but she really is not…By bringing up Kris’t tweet she is just adding fuel to the fire…
Besides Kris fans have lots to say about Adam also…But I guess that’s ok.

Sitting in a tree

I guess I’m just taking us back to sharing a branch in a tree in Ste.-Agathe and how silly it was and how much fun and wonderful it was as we were getting closer to the Festival of Fire.

My morning started out with reading an annoying review of Trespassing in the Washington Post over breakfast. Once again Adam Lambert gets no respect from the Post. Basically the reviewer felt that he should have made another album like FYI and that Trespassing was uninteresting. She also said that he was briefly a member of Queen. For all my knowlege of Adam’s career, I somehow missed that “fact”. Thank goodness for all the great reviews to balance out the few annoying ones.
Then it was off to a very long and tiring day at work with my album virginity still intact. One of my album orders had to come in today or I was facing a late night download from I-tunes. But AO came through! I’ve been waiting for my husband to go to sleep. So now I’m off to the car to lose my virginity, album virginity that is. So what if I’m out there all night and the car battery runs down. Isn’t that why we bought a battery recharger? I’ll check in again tomorrow. I have the day off and will watch the DVD, listen to the album inside with headphones, watch today’s performances on You tube, go back to living in the car and so on.
