After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

I saw this one yesterday. This is one of the reviews that seemed like they had to try to find reasons not to like the album, because perhaps they were wanting something else from him. That’s how it came across to me as he was reaching to complain about the number of writers and producers, and the number of tracks. 12 + 3 bonus tracks is common these days.
Shoot, I could have done with 40 songs myself!

Hi guys, I was away at Smash. That is such an excellent show. It was just renewed, but isn’t coming back until mid-season. Bummer. It was like watching a Broadway show every week.
A highlight though was the commercial for Rock of Ages the movie. My heart went pitterpat! Has anyone else seen the show here besides me? I remember when I saw it about a year ago talking about it here. Constantine was fabulous.
Anyway, real life got very real today, ant invasion in my kitchen. YUCK. Decided to watch Smash in the kitchen, watch, kill ants, watch, kill ants, oh! There’s another one, smash the ant, watch Smash. Had son #2 on ant patrol with me.
Aah. What a nice bonding experience!
Anyway, let’s see, if I knew how to tweet, and could afford a morning non-stop flight Milw to NY, I could make the show…It could be do-able…..
Oh, who am I kidding. Those tix disappeared as soon as MJ posted it.
Of course, it would be worth it to get near that jacket…

I love Smash! My daughter and I are a little obsessed with “History is Made at Night”. Love that song.
nkd, I just might get the Smash soundtrack. I just love Megan Hilty. Kat is OK, she needs to emote more. Her voice is great, but, Megan’s is so much more Broadway. Of course, knowing that she was in Wicked with Adam, and got to kiss him frequently, is kinda naughty fun. She was interviewed about it, and said that she loved kissing him. Well, duh. Who wouldn’t?
I thought Kat’s best moment was the Bollywood number.
At MLB, Trespassing, NCOE, Kickin In – all good.
Broken English – lovely
Shady – really great – that’s gonna be fun on the tour.
WWFM – a revelation – a great surprise – almost didn’t play it because have so many renditions – but this was something else.

I took a little trip to HMV this morning, got a couple of copies of Trespassing deluxe…couldn’t wait for my box set to arrive. They had plenty of copies available (don’t know if thats good or bad..), but it seems only the deluxe version, and it was in a fairly prominent place, on one of the stands where they have the new music, and the headphones where you can listen.
It sounded sooooooooooooo good blasting away in the car on the way home. Have already downloaded it on to my Ipod.
Loved the GMA performance of Trespassing and NCOE. I agree with whoever it was that said the other back up singer was just going through the motions, but I think she is the new one, maybe she was nervous for her first performance. Wonder what happened to Octavia, she didn’t last long..
Haven’t managed to watch the Billboard interview yet, or the MLB cave.
Trespassing Deluxe at #10 on itunes right now and has been moving up all night! Keep going!
aww, just listened to the Billboard interview. Love listening to him talk, the ipod part was cute, when he held up his trespassing ipod as though advertising it…
Thought the interviewer was very respectful, but a bit to quiet and boring, he needed a bit more umphhh. A few quick fire questions at the end would have been good too.

I just love when he say “Oh my!” in Take Back. It isn’t the kind of phrase that you would expect in a Pop song and that makes it so human, almost like a slip of the tongue. It somehow reminded me of when Hugh Grant said “whoopsydaisy” in the movie Notting Hill.

Just listened to the MLB Fan Cave Videos. What Adam did to WWFM was amazing! This is where his ability as a musician really shines! Now I’m actually looking forward to hearing it at WB!

It’s excellent and I was grinning from ear to ear as I was reading … until I got to his assessment of “Chokehold”. I don’t know how anyone can put an S&M spin on this song other than by really stretching their imagination because of the title.
Minor blip though as he obviously loves this CD.
