After what has seemed like an eternally long wait since Adam’s Glam Nation/FYE era ended, we have finally arrived at May 2012 – the month that Adam’s new album “Trespassing” will be released! The album will drop in the U.S. & Canada on May 15th. Lucky fans in New Zealand & Japan will get the album a few days earlier on May 11th, Australia & Germany a few days later on May 18th, while some other European countries (U.K., Ireland, France) will have to wait until July. In addition to the album release, we can look forward to three concerts with Adam headlining this month, the KRZ Summer Bash in Wilkes-Barre PA on May 25th, at Six Flags New England on May 26th, and the Freshtival in National Harbor MD on May 27th. We will also see Adam perform on American Idol May 17th, will have the official push of “Never Close Our Eyes” to pop radio beginning on May 29, and may see the music video for NCOE later this month as well!

    I noticed Adam playing with his earpiece during NCOE – I think that usually means he doesnt like something he is hearing & woe to the sound person afterwards lol.

    I’m sure they will get it worked out perfectly for Idol! Not much sound check time this morning with it being such an early performance.

    Still it sounded great and accomplished the mission – as was stated in the Billboard article getting eyeballs on Adam and then letting the music do the rest.

    It doesn’t hurt that he looks better than ever Smile

    Anyone see the advertising of a bumblebee contest sponsored by Beyonce? Or notice the black and yellow outfit on one of the GMA hosts? AML is such a trendsetter!!! And he sounded just gorgeous!!!

    Saw that too, eywflyer and thought the same thing. Also, did you notice that he patted his left cheek three times right after touching his ear piece? I wonder if that was code for TURN UP THE MIC, GUYS! Smile

    VHI was great too! And both were about the music, not about the gay (even the discussion about gay marriage was about OOL). Not gay singer Adam Lambert, but amazing, electrifying singer Adam Lambert! I’m so happy for him today!!!

    Unfortunately, I couldn’t get to the GMA performance this morning. As it turns out, President Obama is scheduled to come to NYC today, and traffic is all messed up, so I would have had a hard time leaving NYC to get where I had to go afterwards.

    Did anyone else notice that within the first 30 seconds of the interview, Robin Roberts referred to him as Adam Lampert twice!!! Once at the 9 second mark, and then around at the 24 second mark. Someone must have corrected her in her earpiece, because then when she introduced him again before he sang, she said Lambert (around 1:43).
    These ABC people have a thing for calling him by the wrong name. 3 years ago, when he sang Starlight at the GMA summer concert series, their anchor also called him Adam Lampert. I have that intro and performance on my ipod, and it bothers me every time I hear it!!!

    Loved the performance though!!! Grin

    Yay, my Amazon order has been shipped! Now let’s see how many weeks it takes to get here.

    ETA I just saw that the Estimated Delivery Date is July 2nd! That is crazy. It is over a month and a half! And it is coming airmail, there isn’t surface mail here anymore. I will be in London then and for the next two weeks. They had better not decide to send it back!!!!!!!!!! You have to pick packages up here at the post office and I can’t ask my neighbors who take in my mail to go, or depend on them to call my 92 year old father, who would have to walk down here and then walk over to the post office. I would rather not inform the post office that I will be away, that is the type of information that burglers would love to get their hands on. Oh well, I will figure something out.

    The VH1 clips are blocked here. OOF! (That is Hebrew for Oofta!). And it wasn’t shown on our version of VH1. Can someone let us “foreigners” know when there is a you-tube version? Thanks

    rs, do you use Firefox? If you do, there’s an add-on called Anonymx that allows you to switch countries. If a video in the U.S is blocked for Canadians, I just switch to a U.S. IP address. Very easy. I’ll send you the Link if you’re interested.

    It didn’t work Ron. It said that I was using Explorer (even though I was on Firefox)and then when I succeeded in downloading it anyway, I don’t know where it went. I had to download a newer version of Firefox, too, but I has some problems. I think that I will just stay with my old trusty Explorer for now. But thanks.

    Well, how about this? Click on Tools in Firefox and the drop down window will indicate “Add-ons”. Click on that and you should see Anonymox. It needs to be activated. Maybe that’s the problem. You have to ‘enable’ it, not just download it.
